Ok so ,I work in a goodwill in Ohio, we start getting Halloween stuff next week . We also have just about every holiday things already on the shelves. Times r changing, and everybody wants things instantly, it's madness.
Oh Shana, if we think we are annoyed by the holidays getting pushed too early I will share my experience. My grandson was born on Halloween, and when he was around three I could get by with letting him shop at Dollar Tree. That day instead we went into Lowe’s and Lowe’s was caught between still trying to push Halloween, but also brought out huge Christmas trees early. My little grandson was so totally confused with Birthday, Halloween scary trim, and Christmas trees. He looked up at me with this pained expression and said, “Nana, why don’t they just have it all on one day.” “Out of the mouth of babes.”

Nothing for me, I'm stocking up on starches right now. Another locally owned store has the better sale for what I need for the pantry. Can't believe that hamburger went up another dollar. Going to go check out the farm news to see how the crops are coming in this year. Rice a Roni will not keep for very long and the packets go rancid, the noodle roni is fine just bought 30 of those stashed them back for next year. Hang in there and look for real deals.

My favorite mega deals are the Simply Orange orange juice and the Oreos. I think they rush the holidays myself. My store was moving the school supplies so I imagine they will have Halloween when I go in next 🤦🏼♀️. Thank you, Shana!

Family dollar had the Halloween out july 5th. The lady told me she has to put Christmas out before Halloween. But yes the "spooky season" folks start looking out for code orange in July actually

Hi, thanks for the latest ad preview...my favorite deal is the butter fingers. I will purchase 5 and enjoy and then I will have my candy fix for a while. Having worked in retail for years, holiday items are ordered sometimes a year in advance, so stores are eager to get the merchandise out as soon as them receive them.
Because of my kids and grandkids I have to hide the junk food or they go through them wayyyy to quickly

I think you got Claussen correct. Pluots are just a hybrid fruit, a cross between a plum and an apricot. Utz is pronounced like "uh"tz with the short "u" sound. They have really good cheese balls lol.

lol, now that my kids are out of school I can’t wait for Halloween to hit the stores! I was just complaining they don’t have enough stuff out yet! But I am totally opposite with Christmas, don’t want to see it until after Thanksgiving!
I saw Halloween items in one of the craft type stores (hobby lobby?) in July replacing 4th of July items. I wasn't even surprised.

You are correct. I refused to buy the 18 count for 3.99 this week, so I am glad to see the WDD this week even if higher than the last WDD for 12 ct.

Shana, I scrolled into Texas location, and eggs $1.99 dozen with coupon. I downloaded coupon with my actual residence in Virginia area. Think I am learning lots from you. I will do happy dance if this works, but never tried this before.

I giggle about the potato salad. I feel that way about their Macaroni salad 😂😂😂.
I once had a conflict with a boyfriend who took me to an all you can eat buffet. They totally had extensive salads with too much vinegar. The macaroni and potato salad were just overwhelmed with vinegar. I innocently mentioned “ Why is there so much vinegar in all this food?’’ It hurt his feelings, and he tried to stress how hard he was trying to please me. Not the entire reason, but we broke up later d/t communication issues, but I have never again put vinegar in Mac, potato, or pasta salad. I do not get Kroger salads either for that very reason.

@@ShoppingwithShana The Potato Salad I don't love but can tolerate if someone else provides it. However, the Macaroni Salad is very watery, slightly sour (may be the vinegar?) and just overall nasty. It's probably how you feel about the Potato Salad! Have a great Weekend. Thanks for all you do!
On the OM lunchmeat WDD, that does seem expensive. When they had the odd 25% off sale I think what I got was about 3.74 each.
