The hardest thing a person will ever have to do is feel. And an addict will do ANYTHING to avoid feeling...at the expense of everyone else's peace. Meanwhile, everyone around the addict just has to feel. It's miserable.

He has a lot of moments of fake crying. He will appear and sound like he’s getting teary but no tears will come out and he will switch his demeanor quickly it’ll go from sobbing to normal.

When you are an addict you can never say never. He is seeing himself in comparison to others and he needs to just focus on himself.

I do pray that the parents learn how much they are enabling him...I pray that this does stop! However, he only works part time so I hope that maybe he can get some kind of housing assistance. The parents need to live their lives!

It doesn't help when his son keeps saying that he will die if he was in the streets without his parents paying rent, which is why they are very hesitant to withdraw from financially supporting him
