That would be true except for two words: range anxiety. An EX must hit a true 300 miles before I'd even validate it, and close to 400 before I'd buy it.

I don’t see a lot of effort from Honda and Toyota to introduce new EVs like Hyundai and Kia are engaged in lately, and it looks like in a few decades Hyundai will be Toyota and Kia will be Honda.
@christophersneed5212 And range anxiety isn't technically range anxiety. It's charging anxiety. People don't really trust the charging infrastructure, which is warranted. It is definitely getting better though. However, now that the industry in NA is switching over to NACS, that definitely helps with that charging anxiety since the Tesla SC network is everywhere. Concerning range specifically, battery technology gets better every year, and solid state is basically around the corner. Not long from now, EVs having over 400 miles of range (with weather not effecting it) will be commonplace. Toyota not diving in full steam now will put them way behind. They will absolutely need to be using other company's tech to make their cars.
I'm a parent with 4 children, and currently drive a 2009 Sequoia. Wonder if this EV9 or the newer Ioniq9 would be the best option for my large family. I don't think you could go wrong with either. They provide way more interior space than the other three rows you mentioned. With any EV right now really, leasing is the best option. I hope they dont have the issues the 2024 have. I don't understand why you even need 500+hp with this vehicle. I have the 2024 EV9 land w/Awd and long range. It's plenty fast as it is. What's the point of all this extra horse power, it's not practical.
I’m not sure if this makes any sense in my opinion. The whole point of a vehicle this size is to comfortably transport a sizable group of people efficiently. But a GT model sacrifices ride quality with those large wheels and skinny performance tires, range, and costing far more than the average model while still having compromised driving dynamics (large and heavy). I suppose there are people that would make the trade off, I just wonder how many people are there.
The KIA logo on the front should be on the grill (or where the grill would be, and where its desperately needed with all that blank space), not on the hood. Love the interior, but the exterior is too trendy for my taste.
