I'm gonna have to put Grombrindal over Grimgor. Grimgor was faught almost to a standstill by the Chaos Dwarf champion, who is almost certainly weaker than Grombrindal.
I never read the end times, who besides Teclis and Caledor bested here? I heard she also sort of got marked down a peg in the end times though. And then Total War reduced her boob size down to basically 0, takeing away even moar of her power :(

I feel like Grimgor wasn't particularly powerful... though he was unarguably DA BEST. He was a great sword... er... axe-orc, and he did friggen *work* during the last battle of the end times, but ultimately, he wasn't at the same level as the demi-gods who made up the rest of the Incarnates cast. Feel like that slot should probably go to either Teclis or Malekith, who are both in competition for the MOST POWERFUL ELVES ALIVE at the point the End Times happen, with the Eternity King prooooobably edging it out in the end. And before you bring up Malekith surrendering to Grimgor during the end times, I'm going to have to point out that he was just being a cheeky cunt who saw no point in wasting the lives of all of his remaining handfulls of Black Guard and Phoenix Guard fighting LITERALLY THOUSANDS OF ORCS AND SKAVEN SIMULTANEOUSLY. So instead, he "surrendered" and told grimgor, "Hey, you know who thinks you aren't hot shit? That fucker named Archaon. You should kick his dick in. Then you will be the best, forever." Which, you know, is probably the best way to motivate Grimgor of all time.
Even i think Grimgor is not one of the stronger in warhammer univers, he wins against archaon in storm of chaos .... Even that archaon was hurt by Valten, aka sigmar's avatar

And, at least, strom doesn't destroy and piss on the 30 years old of the warhmmer fantsy battle universe. But, on contrary, yes storm promised huge change in the plot and the story of warhammer, but no, nothing append, move away :p

Would you be interested in compiling your list of the best fighters according to the same criteria as the list Milkandcookies made a year back? The peramiters were that the characters be judged according to their skills in melee, magic and mounts are not counted, and they must be humanoid. (IE an orc can be on the list, but not a Dragon or greater deamon)

Hey, thanks for the reply! I would definitely exclude settra. He is strong, but his claim to fame is really just beating Kholek which isn't cannon. The writer pretty much said that's what he would have done if he had the chance. Even considering it is, that doesn't make him very strong as kholek has beaten a grand total of 0 people. He literally just slept through the entirety of the lore pretty much. Also Sigmar is a god which you said you wouldn't include. Sure he walked the earth but he was still a god even if he was amongst men. Mazdumundi had an impressive performance in the end time but doing one thing in the entirety of his lifetime is a little lacking to put him in a most powerful list. I would have Gotrek for sure as you said. Ungrim is another pick. He was an amazing warrior who could cut swaths through armies. He actively sought the toughest battles and survived them all. He only died when he decided to just explode. Maybe Morghur if you want to go with a technicality pick. Being unable to die without an artifact of some kind is impressive even if he was as easy to kill as a Skaven slave. He managed to put in some work against the wood elves over the years. Tyrion for sure. Not only could he beat anyone he felt like it just for funsies, he did that while convincing his people he was a good guy. He was warhammer hitler. He just murdered Orion, and beat the shit out of Malekith with the greatest of ease while Malekith was on his side and the king of his people! He would have easily killed him if not for Alith Anar. Speaking of which, Alith Anar was incredibly powerful. He was the only one who could stom Tyrion, but on top of that, he hunted down dark elves his whole life, even stealing from Morathi right under her nose. After that, he just played the meanest round of hide n go seek of all time, pretending to be dead for years only to appear again in the end times. Durthu is another great candidate. While tyrion was roffle stomping whoever he damn well pleased, Durthu picked him up like a child and punted him. It was also implied he could have easily killed him if he wished. Even Ariel wouldn't fight Durthu when he stood in her way. Throgg took over a whole city with a bunch of beasts and killed countless heroes who came to try to kill him year after year. However he did get totally destroyed by Gotrek and then Nagash turned him into a pile of ash with no trouble at all. Kroq gar is a pretty easy choice. Never broke a sweat in battle except against the Skaven, and even then he kicked some ass and took off on a rocket ship. There is a pretty big list of less obvious lore characters but I will stop the wall of text for now. But I would personally even put vlad before some of these characters. I think you weighed end times cool moments a little too heavily and not people actually standing toe to toe with anyone of note. The end time was a cluster fuck of heroic moments so having one isn't as big of an accomplishment as it may appear. Also, Arkhan. Arkhan is strong as shit and way better than Settra. Please dont report me for that
I would like to see a duel between anerion and aborash. I'm not sure what the outcome would be if anerion dosent have widowmaker. The first blood knight killed a dragon in single combat, drank its blood and was cured.vlad who is one of the better swordsman in warhammer said to ma Fred that he doesn't know a creature living or dead that could kill aborash. And think of how good blood knights are in combat, I mean Harkon beat karl franz the would have killed vlad if he didn't take control of his dragon, and aborash was the father of the blood knights. I don't know how Giles didn't make it on the list but I would say he would be number 11 because before Sigmar became Blessed Gilles could have raped Sigmar. Anerion was basically solo'ing Entire legions of Chaois hordes with his sword sunfan meanwhile at the end times Aborash needed help from his master ( The Green Knight).

The thing with Abhorash and Aenarion I think just like Wulfrik and Achaon. Wulfrik is definitely a better fighter but Achaon just has more toys XD. And yeah, I'm really surprised that Gilles didn't make it to the list, maybe because fucking Game Workshop neglecting Bretonnia so the Grail Knights don't really have much time to shine. The Grail Knights have always shit on Vampires and being the best fighters of the Old World. Back to the topic Abhorash never made it to the army book (as I recall), so his gears was kinda non-existent. And I think they kept Abhorash and Gilles away from Middenheim because that's the only plausible way to end the World lol.
Non Non I think that's why they put all the slann in a coma because they knew with all of them awake there is no way the skaven would have made any advances with slann blasting apart whole armies with their mind. Same reason they didn't make mazdimundi the Incarnate of light and show up to middenheim with kroqgar and an army of sauras

Yes but the Green Knight is also very very powerful and the two were almost evenly matched. I think the Green Knight and Abhorash wouldn't get too high on this list because they are obviously no match for the likes of Sigmar and Kroak but they should deserve some spot on the list, I think they are both more powerful than Grimgor. A gw author said Abhorash would beat Archaeon if they dueled. Gilles is immortal and the most skilled human warrior outside maybe Sigmar.

Yes but the Green Knight is also very very powerful and the two were almost evenly matched. I think the Green Knight and Abhorash wouldn't get too high on this list because they are obviously no match for the likes of Sigmar and Kroak but they should deserve some spot on the list, I think they are both more powerful than Grimgor. A gw author said Abhorash would beat Archaeon if they dueled. Gilles is immortal and the most skilled human warrior outside maybe Sigmar.
