I was into photography but got out of it about 5 years ago. Now it's really hard to find film around here, so I went with a new digital. This bag came with it, along with a bunch of stuff and I've been kicking around trying to figure out how to put it with a lens and filters for an 18-55, and a 55-300 lens in it. I bought this bag a while ago and I kept on wondering what the little hoop things at the top back corners would do. You answered my question, so thanks :) I'm personally using it with a Canon T3i with a 50mm f/1.4 on it as well as a battery grip, and I also fit in a flashgun, the kit lens, a few filters, a remote controller, several batteries and a toy lens :) I really like this bag, and this review was very helpful to know more about it, so thanks :)
Great video. Did you use an external mic for filming the video with the 550D or the one on the camera itself? I just got the 550D with a 28-90 lens for a really cheap price and I'm considering getting this bag.
Thanks for reply....I have 35mm dx lens...which is smaller than kit lens. Yes i saw how you fitted zoom lens with body in center....I want t put in same way.. D3100 + 70-300 VR in center..
the 70-300 fitted to the body will fit no problem down the middle of the bag, then depending on how big the 35mm lens is it should fit stacked down one side like I showed in the video, leaving room for flash and accessories such as a spare battery on the other side :D
