- A tool-assisted speedrun of The World's Hardest Game.
This run beats the human world record by 19 seconds. Majority of time was saved on levels 7, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 26, 27, 28, and 29. Levels 12 and 26 were the biggest time saves, saving 4 seconds each.
Some levels can be done a frame or so faster, but would require a different window size. Window size used in this run was 1077x826.
Was able to pass through some dots without taking a death due to how collisions work. This only works when dots are moving fast which is why you see it on levels like 7, 15, and 21. It was attempted to clip through dots on other levels, but they were not moving fast enough.
Flash game was modified to add TAS features such as playing the game one frame at a time and recording inputs. The game was then played from the beginning in real time and used these recorded inputs to move the player. This is a single run and no splicing was used.
Background music was added in post to give viewers something to listen to.
Tip screens were progressed manually via spacebar.

PEOPLE, before going and saying how it's hacks READ THE DESCRIPTION!! it's TAS which means tool assissted speedrun the entire thing was done by a bot and no it's not "hacks" it called HIT DETECTION, when you have something that can do frame perfect imputs and a very old game you get some strange stuff, by reading the description you can clearly see that the broken dots happen when they are moving fast enough so the hitboxes are off and it doesn't think that the box is getting hit and most people might not be able to make that happen but TAS can play perfectly so many TAS have minipulated hitboxes so PLEASE for the love of god LISTEN, IT'S NOT HACKS OR CHEATING!!!! when so many comments just say "look at this time what a hacker" and are by idiots who can't care enough to read a discription before sending mindless hate it's drives all the sentient people here CRAZY! so stop.

Guys. A TAS is not meant to demonstrate human skill in real time. They're for showcasing the optimal/perfect way a task can be completed by any means necessary only doing what the game is programmed to do, they take countless retries or a very tedious input script to make. Personally they're more entertaining than speedruns.
Yeah. You still need skill to program the TAS to execute the exact right combination of button presses.

@Un Shota Desnudito OwO not always, a tas can also be a player playing at a slowed down game speed for near perfect timings, it all depends on the game because some games aren’t beatable with the same inputs for everything and they actually need the judgement of a human for a tas
On level 6 at 0:54 why don't you go straight along the bottom instead of collecting that second dot by moving up? You can then collect that dot on the next trip around - I know its possible because I can do it myself. Considering how perfect everything else is I don't know how you could've missed that relatively big time save. Every other level is extremely impressive though, I thought I could do most levels the theoretical fastest way but you have proven me wrong lol.

It's a tool assisted speedrun. It performs glitches using various frame perfect inputs that can be executed in order to break the code sequence in the game. Essentially in this way, the TAS, used inputs to manipulate the hitbox of the sprites so it doesn't actually hit it even though it does appear to hit it slightly.

This game has weird hit detection (or rather, too simple hit detection)
You can pass through balls that are moving fast, here's why:
Every time the ball moves, collisions are checked for where it moves in one clock cycle (usually 1 cycle per frame), not where it was in-between clock cycles.
This causes trouble when the ball moves more than the size of the player in one clock cycle, where it essentially passes through.
It's fixed visually, but it isn't fixed internally.
This means that if you and the ball are both moving fast, there's a high chance you'll be able to 'noclip' through it.
This is a TAS. It's meant to be incredibly close to the perfect playthrough. It's not done by a human, or if it is, the human is using *tools* to *assist* their *speedrun*.
