Hey Woody ! Your aunty came into my work the other week and saw the skid factory sticker on my hzj80 Landcruiser. It was quite funny her telling me about you and seeing how proud she was of you. keep up the good work mate.
I can certainly appreciate the meticulous nature that Millsi put into building that perfect manifold, lol. Perfection to detail is one of my hang ups too. Beautiful piece of craftsmanship!
Greetings from Southwest Texas. You guys keep up the great work that is put into these vlogs the content is next level and now that Al's son is dropping his sound it to fill in the gaps has put this channel to the very top that is car culture . Woody your skills are getting razor sharp and looking forward to a road trip soon. 🇺🇸
The Bedford is going to be epic. I saw the Drag video and that thing went straight as an arrow down the strip. I can’t wait to see what it runs once it’s sorted out with all the new driveline improvements 😎👍
Wow. That manifold is a piece of art. Incredible craftsmanship and perfectly thought out. Nice to see a perfectionist given the opportunity to do things to the best of their ability. edit: Wait, you said Drag Week.......Do you mean Millsi is bringing it over here to the US for Hotrod Dragweek in september ?
Every time Millsi is on, you should say something like, " Welcome to The Skid Factory. Today, FknMillsi is here and wants me to fix my mower he borrowed .. FknMillsi" 😂
Does the manifold flow in the same direction as the turbine wheel spins? Also your videos have become probably the best auto channel on RUclips 👍you guys are killing it.
Thank you boys. Been watching every episode since the mcmtv2 days. I get so excited for Wednesday arvo. The content gets better and better all the time. Big thank you ✊
I used to make those swirl extractors back in the 80s. The principle is like the water swerling down a drain, it's fast. But the water not swerling emtys the container a lot slower, seems quieter as well. The last swerler I made was about 3 weeks ago inside a full flow muffler, still full flow but a lot quieter.
Looks like the editing is taking a turn for skate videos and editing on sound clips...which is a sacred and tricky art. I think you're doing an excellent job with the learning of video. Great job guys, always love the videos!
Love this epic project! The shot of Al explaining things with the turbo over his head was brilliant! And those headers were legendary, the craftmanship was so amazing!! Love it!
Blue loctite tastes amazing. Very much not good for you but I've never tasted something so sweet. There are even forum threads comparing the tastes of various colours of loctite.
Next gen is obvious. Old engine powering front wheels and the new one shifted backwards driving rear wheels. Rear axle turned backwards and some 4row industrial chain from tranny to the diff. Skid factory guys will love the idea 😀
For years now I suspect that this is a "Berlin Bear" tattoo on Al`s arm. The perfect pronunciation of "Schnitzel" @8:23 only strengthen my believe that there is some sort of connection to germany or there was a germanophile phase in his life.
Hey Woody, remember how I said last week "oooh, shots fired on turbo taxi", well I wasn't the only one who thought it, the owner did too. 😂 I explained in DMs that it wasn't directed his way, so all good. 😉👍
If he's going to know if he has "danger to manifold" you had better rig it up to have fall away chequered floor plates and convert to a 12 speed manual 😉
I think a new merch opportunity is begging called ""Coriolanus Correct "" for all the clever kids taking their cars over the equator. Maybe a do it your self firing order reverse kit would be popular too.
that loctite bottle looks older than some of the specimens at the local museum... and if it's old enough to taste like lollies chances are it's out of date and less good than a new bottle:P
I don't know about radial theory but the F1 exhaust headers now have step ups in them where the diameter steps up in size a little bit a few inches after the exhaust flange
Al could you please teach us about log manifolds? For example to they spool faster but have less peak power? Are they better at transferring heat to the turbo, and if so is that a good thing? Thank you!
If FknMillsi broke your mower, what would you do to fix it?
www.theskidfactory.com
Find another Millsi 😂
Fit a a 1,500hp Barra in it...
Build a racing-ish mower, not class spec just fast af, seems like the logical thing to do in that situation.
Putting a mower cutting deck under the Bedford 🤣

I never get tired of the "plumbed back to atmosphere" lol
I came here to say this exact comment. Still chuckle every time.
Lol science
"David is an experienced racecar builder and fabricator, if you'd put the surge tank somewhere different, he doesn't care"
Golden middle finger to the armchair fabricators
He sent out the exhaust manifold to have it made by someone else.
He's *not* a 'fabricator', he's someone who has experience slapping parts together.
@@ThunderAppeal He was talking about the fabricator, not himself.
@@ImBarryScottCSS he was referring to people who will comment on the video saying they’d have put it somewhere else.
@@ThunderAppeal Al didn’t have the manifold made, Millsi did.
@@Tyler-ts2ld Actually, Millsy's brother did.

I have to say fellas. You've come a long way since Marty and Moog let you run MCMTV2 for a while. Every episode is better than the last. Keep it up!
Al's mouth : Coriolis Effect Radial Flow Turbo Manifold.
Al's brain: Log manifold go Brrrrrr
Love the "aw shucks" low key attitude when in actuality it's a team of professionals coming together to build an absolutely mental machine.
total under statement ..Legends
Next up on The Skid Factory: Al tests all brands of "loctite" and rates their flavours!
I like the blue one, the red one makes my tounge feel fuzzy.
MCM and SkidFactory videos withing 10 seconds of each other! Amazing!
MCM can wait.
MCM still does videos? I don't think I've seen one come out this year yet...
Sorry, I watch MCM first due to my RUclips seniority rule, oldest channel first. It works for me.
Full boost dropped at 6am
Loctite tastes like lollies, I'm sure that's not legal. Brilliant!
Awesome content! Make the Gerfinger Poken sticker into a t-shirt please. Cheers from Arizona!
I'm glad to see the tradition keeps on, I know it in IT as 'Blinkenlichten', but it apparently has roots in WWII.

You'll need 1500HP to pull that manifold along the road.
For a turbo manifold, you'll benefit greatly from the strength that the heavier guage steel provides. But yeah, it might take 1500 hp. Lol
That is a very, very slick manifold indeed!
Very excited to hear this thing rev when it's all done :D
Being able to see exhaust manifold pressure helps to make adjustments/corrections on the thermocouples as well.

Miller Chassis’s
Absolutely!
"Coriolis correct for the southern hemisphere! " Hahhah
Yeah it's cause of how "flat" the northern hemisphere is.....🧐
The look on Al's face when he said that 🤣🤣 freaking gold.
Turbo was prolly made in the northern hemisphere so i hope they got the maths right.
Thanks Al,... always good to see how you roll
WOW MAN.... this Bedford Barra is a Monster 👹
Ah, man, love it when you do stuff like line up the music with the ratchet.
I've only just stumbled on to this build. Can't wait to see this thing running. Its a far cry from the Holden Red Motor.
I'll give whoever was editing big props and credit for that very very satisfying sync of music to Al ratcheting @ 6:07
Awesome tunes from your son to go with the great content.
Cracked up when you got the hammer hits and the ratchet in time with the music 🤣. Good stuff Woods
MCM AND Skid Factory in one night? What a treat!
:) the coating garage does a king job love em
Man thats a sexy turbo housing... nearly as cool as the supra that it came of

I wish the Bedford came to the US. It looks like a Pontiac version of our gm vans from the 70/80's.
