PEOPLE....Take note!!!! THIS is how music is made! Real musicians learning their craft, playing real instruments! Not pushing buttons on a computer! Any Boston bass line is no easy walk in the park. KEEP ROCKIN!!!!!!
So wonderful. Not a bunch of whiny brats but kids with talent who obviously also have the where with all to stay focused, and practice to learn their craft. Not in some infantile virtual reality, but right here where things actually count for something. Emotions are communicated in ways that are often very personal but can also bring people together. These kids are a breath of fresh air, May you always keep playing for yourself and the rest of us to be inspired by.
WOW…what an amazing cover of Peace Of Mind by Boston! I’ve sang this song hundreds of times On TOUR with the band Boston and can tell you it’s not an easy song to cover but Vinya, Ellen, Yoyoka, Bay, Charlotte and Ella covered this one beautifully! Great job & Keep Rockin’ Tommy DeCarlo
So cool! I was thinking "Brad is smiling on this!" , but so is Tommy! Thank you, Tommy for sharing your feedback. And thank you, Ellen and Company for this delight! May you always have peace of mind.
she serves the music, she doesn't make the mistake many young people do thinking the music serves them. Because she serves the music, she creates something bigger than just herself and the song.
Not just good for kids - plain GOOD! The future of rock music is in safe hands. Thanks to Ellen and friends - no Autotune or quantising, just sweat and talent. Thanks guys. Live long and Rock!
Damn, as a 62 years old man, hearing today's kids playing some good old fashioned rock is already a treat, but when they are THAT good, I can just rest assured that there are plenty of kids that will craft serious musicianship to perpetuate, THEN create good music for years to come. Bless those kids, and damn, carry on, you're doing a damn good job, all of you !
Any band with Ellen and Yoyoka as a foundation is lucky, and the rest of them are more than up to the task! Guitars are spot on, and Vinya can sure belt it out. Give her voice a few more years to mature and she'll be winning awards. Can she cover some Ann Wilson? Only time will tell!
This is blowing me away. What a sound. What a performance. Unbelievable, what talent. Fantastic, fabulous, great. I love it, yeah...💖💖💖💖👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
Yoyoka and Ellen could someday go down as one of greatest rhythm sections in music. Both of them are ridiculously talented, but more importantly they feel the music in their souls and have so much fun.
Anybody who's played in a band knows that if the rhythm section isn't tighter than tight, then no matter how great the guitars and vocals, the song is not going to sound good. Ellen and Yoyoka were locked in so tight that the song soared! Bravo to all of you.
Back in my day, there were a few cassettes (yes I said cassettes) there are a few that I had to replace because I played then so much, they wore out. Boston was one. I just realized these kids are younger when I was a teenager listening to Boston..... and they rock.
It really does my 66 year old heart good to see a younger generation carrying on with such great music. These kids are phenomenal! I would venture that they could easily tour with this lineup.
Backup vocals needed more punch but yeah. The bass was a bit forward but, I like a strong bass that often gets mixed down and it's Ellens channel. Even if not, like I said, I like big bass and I cannot lie 😛 apologies to Sir Mixalot.
@@TobyCatVA I actually went looking for a mix related comment to say exactly this. The mix on Hysteria was literal perfection, but the BGVs are really buried in this mix. I am totally picking nits though, it's still a fantastic performance and a fantastic recording. I also agree that the bass forward is always great, as bass is usually buried in most mixes as well, but definitely not here.
As a 53 y/o bass player, this is amazing! Ellen, I am so happy to see you play the originals just as they were recorded. Your father is an awesome role model. Keep it up!

It's a great testimony to the range of the original vocalist, because it takes a twelve-year-old girl to hit those same notes. She did an excellent job, and it's a great homage to the talent of the original singer, Brad Delp.
It never ceases to amaze me what kids can accomplish if just given the opportunity. Going a different direction than musical talent, I teach advanced driving skills to teens on a racetrack in Virginia. You would be shocked at how quickly many can master an absolutely stellar level of car control skills that easily surpass the abilities of most drivers on the roads today. Young people can handle way more complex tasks and responsibilities than we give them credit.
Can we all agree this is amazing ?? ❤
Yeah I would agree they are amazing
They are great 👍
You get my Thumbs up

It's great to see you support these young musicians, Tommy! I'm sure Brad is smiling down from heaven watching these super talented kids!
Totally agree!
The bass line is absolutely professional, not every adult bass player plays like that. Wonderful!
Not every adult plays like that, either!
I'd say very few adult bassists even come close.
she serves the music, she doesn't make the mistake many young people do thinking the music serves them. Because she serves the music, she creates something bigger than just herself and the song.
