Greetings from Scotland! Already you are famous enough to be recognised in public AND be allowed to handle such an iconic guitar - THAT shows how much respect you get, and a huge level of trust! WOW!! Young lady, you have a star filled future ahead of you!
What blows me away is that Hoveck, Ellen's father didn't " weeze the juice " by playing the guitar... Instead he gave the honor to Ellen. 😊 You rock dad! 😎
Her dad, not father, is smart enough to se his actual legacy, standing in front of him! I do not mean to diminish his musical ability in the smallest way! But he understands she has an amazing future, and will probably have an award winning band, should she ever fo one! Praying Tactical Prayer Support over you. I say sweet young thing only because almost every woman qualifies as that to me at my age! I am totally wheelchair dependent and never had 1% talent at literally (not figuratively) anything compared to her! My prayers are because there is responsibility associated with this. Thankfully she has a Dad who has her 6! You do whT you do. And I believe the creator/god has your 6, starting with a Dad who gets it! Amazingly wonderful! Rock, or jazz/funk on! Will follow your amazing progress for the years I have left Praying for your success all the way as often as the Ruach HaQodesh brings her to mind (which is more often than each video I see.
Wow! You are such an awesome guy Mike. Ellen you are SO lucky to happen to meet this man and handle Eddie Van Halen's guitar. You live a blessed life. May it continue to be so for many many years to come.

Eddy was a great guitarist. He was born in Amsterdam in the Netherlands, little Eddie and his brother lived for a few years in the city where I was born and still live, Nijmegen. Thanks for this episode and have a great holiday.
This is so cool! Thanks for taking the time to do this Mike. I know you enjoyed it as much as ELLEN and HOVAK. And Kudos to HOVAK and ELLEN for being open enough to interact with fans like this. Im always saying “wow” with this young talented lady. So adding a few big ones (ha) was not a surprise to me. Van Halen’s Hot for Teacher is still one of my favorite videos of all time. Great video; learned something new about Eddie and his guitars; thank you! 🎶🎶💯🎶🎶🎸🎶🎶💯🎶🎶
Ah, that’s wonderful. Edward was one of the greatest ground breaking innovators the instrument has ever had. He was the reason I first picked up the instrument back in 1979 when as a 16 yr old I saw him live in Finsbury Park in London…At the time like many others I didn’t understand how he could make a guitar sound like a Bach organ with two hands on the fretboard. Back then his many techniques had yet to be popularised. It’s great that Ellen gets to play this instrument because with Ed doing stuff for the Opus Foundation for youngsters unable to afford instruments he encouraged young players and helped them considerably. I’m sure Ed would be really pleased about new talented young players like Ellen who will be the next generation of musicianship whether bass or guitar……(Paul )

Yeah, anyone who KNEW Eddie would question this guitar. Eddie was notorious for having his strap secured with customized hooks and did it to ALL the guitars he ever played. Just ask his old guitar tech Rudy or even Wolfie. No Certificate of Authenticity either?
I love the EVH models. I bought one for the first time last month. It's - for SURE - the best guitar I've ever played, and I've been playing for 54 years. I've had all of the standards and customs Gibson and Fenders.
