- Restoration of a Marklin 8910 Z-Scale Toporama layout. In this video I review all of the buildings that Märklin offered from 1972 to 1975 that are used in this layout including reference photos.

Thanks for sharing about the buildings. I’ve been after a Göppingen Station and the Dürnau myself. Hopefully I get a hold of those soon as well as the Göppingen Signal Tower.

Very nice video. The town's name is prenounced Goe-ping-en. If you ever go,it is really good to know that although the open days are every year, the big international train show is only every other year. Make sure you go for the big event. It is well worth the visit, normally around 60.000 people visit during the weekend, so there is a lot to see. Greetings from Denmark.
First, I wanna thank you for doing this Z scale program ! I think I’ve got a good deal on a set that’s numbered 8158 ! Only problem is I bought it in November 17 with the promise of it being here December 19 and I’m still waiting for the package coming from Germany ! But I’m still hopeful that the USPS is helping me out !
I Finally got Train set ! And correction I bought it November 28th, it was supposed to be here December 17th, here we are (“January 20th”) Hallelujah ! And it just arrived today ! I’ve been looking over the components ! I’ve noticed all the switches have the wires attached to them ! I recently had a accident with the layout that I was working on for a very good friend of mine ! And because some of our idiot cats who decided to climb all over the place thought they’d start jumping and climbing through our bookshelves ! Now, I thought I had a nice high safe place, and it ended up on the floor this morning !!! ;(
But, I managed to hopefully have fixed it !!! We’ll see what happens tomorrow when the glue drys !!! Major problem is this layout has the wires that have deteriorated to the point that they are so brittle that it’s hard to figure out what I can do to try and make them more sturdy and reliable, without having to worry about them getting frail ! 🌊🐺
Excellent video but even with my Lenovo laptop sound on max you are very faint. Perhaps you don't travel too well to the UK!

Paint buildings black from the inside and you won't need to mock around with paper inserts. Do not use the grass/flowers as is, unless you're planning on making the colors a bit more dull.
