To be fair, even the characters, namely his friends, knew something was wrong with him. He really wasn't subtle about any of this. They blamed themselves for not having do more or anything at all.
X/Y definitely needed a third version to iron out stuff like this where Diantha and Sycamore didn't seem like complete morons when Lysandre basically started reciting his own mein kampf and those people were like "oh he's eccentric hahaha" and never did anything about it.
+Moore Games They thought it would be. But most people knew before the game even came out. "Hmm, this really vain guy with huge orange Ganondorf hair, that's obsessed with the color red, surely couldn't be connected to the orange-and-red villain obsessed with beauty?"
Honestly, that would have been the most hilarious twist ever. Imagine meeting Lysandre after beating Team Flare with him saying "Oh man, this is horrible. But how come so many people were protesting my products and calling me these people's leader?"
At the start of the battle in XY, you can hear a gun reload, which shows that he has readied the ultimate weapon. In USUM, you can hear a laser at the start of the battle, because the Lysandre in USUM claims to have come from another world where he has completed his plans. Think about that for a second.
Also the USUM remix has a faster pace to it and sounds different and more devillish than this version, unlike this one where it just sounds like a remix of the grunt theme
Exactly! But honestly, this theme is mid as hell. Those first 8 seconds save it. Without that, it's the worst team leader theme. And I love the team flare's motif that it uses. But it really doesn't work here.
Depends on the version. In x does he try to make the player and his friends present at this point immortal so that they have to life to see the day Lysandre is proven right that not resetting the world now was its doom.
Dark yes, evil no. There is only one person truly deserving to be called evil and that is none other than the traitorous, manipulative, selfish, psycho Ghetsis, which some theorise abused his Hydreigon to evolve early which is why he lost his eye and why his partner has frustration which so happens to do maximum damage based on how much your pokemon hate you... Jepp
@@mr.bananaman7901 It's straight up evil. Lysander was going to kill everyone and every pokemon including his own friends (including his own pokemon) so that the world could be beautiful again, and more importantly, nobody around to ruin it. After he's been defeated, Lysander was going to either kill you all or make you suffer an eternal life. In the end, he killed himself with the ultimate weapon. There is nothing subtle about Lysander at all.
a gun probally wouldn't effect even the weakest pokemon because caterpie can one shot the ender dragon i'm not joking caterpie's attack stat is 30 and its move tackle is 40 power 30x40 is 1200 and the Ender Dragon's hp stat is 200. that is just overkill and hilarious when thinking about it also the ender dragos deffens stat is 1 because the same amount of damage points your weapon has is how much it does meaning its defense divides it by 1 meaning it has a defense stat of 1. how pokemon works is the power of the move is multiplied by your attack stat and then divided by your opponents defense stat . do the math and you'll just see how broken the weakest of pokemon is compared to characters from other universes but it makes sense since they are made up of infinity energy.
I loved Lysandre as a villain. It's hard to find a character who will tell you that he wants both yourself and himself to die because he wishes to liberate you. You can't deny that not-existing is an absolute escape from all suffering, torment and lamentation. The difference between Lysandre and any other generic villain is that he sees it as a good thing. He believe he is good, and not doing it out of any satisfaction of being 'evil'. He is pointing the finger at salvation, and he wants to save us all.
Lusamine (both usum and sm) is by far my favorite evil team boss but as much as people are going to hate me for saying this I actually really like lysandre mainly because of his theme but as much as he is bland you can’t help but admit he has just such an eerie personality and plus if you had read the manga he is pretty dang terrifying and as much he seems to be a good person he turns out downright despicable and evil but I still think he’s a pretty decent character ngl
My names Lysandre, I’m one of you I live here in Kalos too The things you say just might true It could be time to start anew And maybe change my point of view NAH I SAY LET IT DIE-
Me on Lysandre before meeting Team Flare: Gee, what a nice guy! Me after meeting Team Flare: IF THERE IS EVEN A 1% CHANCE THAT HE IS OUR ENEMY, WE MUST TAKE IT AS AN ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY
MathWiz86 well in the story there's romance, sad parts, betrayal, funny moments, and loyalties will be tested (seriously that last part is no joke when Kazu and Luca are fighting Luca is reluctant to fight his own captain) by that I mean Kazu is the captain of his queen's guard.
"This world is imperfect. If only I can wipe away the impurities and make it as beautiful as me." "Yes it was I! My machinations lay undetected for years for I am a master of deception!"
Lysandre is the most unique of all out of all villainous teams' leaders. He wanted to keep the world 'beautiful', but because of people taking his work for granted he slowly became deluded into making himself believe that by killing most people he would 'save' the world (although this is VERY extreme for someone who wants to 'help' the world and it would likely cause war and theft something he wants to purge) at the cost of pokemon (he shows genuine regret for that loss). The guitar in the first half really puts emphasis on the seriousness and conviction of his actions and the voices in the later half really put emphasis on his deluded view of 'saving' the world. He would kill, steal, and use senseless violence to purge to the world of it, which will just spawn hate, rage, and contempt and lead to more crime. Ironic isn't it? But his own unique song and very different motivation really sets him apart from the other villains in the series.
well my problem with lysandre is the fact that he was blunt about being the villain. In the first conversation you have with him, after the second line I knew he was going to be the villain. the only other villain that were like that was cyrus from D/P/Pt but he was at least known as a bad guy. Lysandre I will say was interesting but the combined bluntness and idiocy of everyone who heard him talk kind of ruined him as a villain for me.
Hugo muinos de andrade yeah I know he is but lysandre was just so obvious. at least ghetsis tried to manipulate and trick people. wasn't very successful but he tried. Lysandre flatout says in the first conversation that he would destroy everything to keep the world pure. if that doesn't scream villain I don't know what does. and Ghetsis also raises a good point with the whole what if we are enslaving pokemon and we should set our pokemon free.
Hugo muinos de andrade ghetsis wanted to free pokemon.... team plasma no different from other teams, controlling legendaries like reshiram for their own good, team flare did not, team flare awakened the ultimate weapon to eliminate selfishness and to bring beauty...
Team Rocket - Money and power. Team Magma - Terraforming. Team Aqua - Terraforming. Team Galactic - Make a new universe. Team Plasma - Conquer the world using Pokemon/free all the Pokemon. Team Flare - Everyone sucks, they should die. I think it's clear who the winner is here.
What i love about X, is that there's actually a hint of JEOPARDY. I always thought everybody in the world of Pokemon were wimps, because they're all dependent on they're Pokemon and stuff, and even the bad guys follow the rules and stuff. and if they lose it's like "Oh no. My evil plan has been foiled everybody has been beaten in fair pokemon battles."
I say Galactic wins this one. Lysandre is pretty much Cyrus, only instead of making a whole new universe from scratch, he just wanted to clear off everyone from this current world. Lysandre also wanted to show mercy to everyone who joined Team Flare and considered anyone who joined a "good person", which was really idiotic. Cyrus on the other hand knew most of his members were corrupt and secretly planned to wipe them out as well and only used them as pawns. Cyrus by far had the most extreme plan, wanting a whole universe to himself and only himself. In Platinum, everyone would've died as the player and Cynthia both would've been helpless to stop him no matter what, if it hadn't been for Giratina's appearance out of nowhere to intervene. No battles, nothing. Just Giratina punishing those who messed with the natural order. Even when you beat Cyrus in a battle in the Distortion World, he still says he'll attempt to carry out his plan anew, but it doesn't matter because there's nothing he can do and he's banished there for all eternity, much like Giratina was itself.
TheAsianShadow100 you know, in the games it said that cyrus was born and raised in sunyshore city and was good at mechanics, i feel like if cyrus game back and they showed the back story how cyrus went insane people would recognize why he's the darkest boss in pokemon
I always pick this background song in online competitive whenever I get to choose the music. It really drives up the heat of the already intense person-vs-person battles. These can be an absolute NIGHTMARE to sit through if your opponent knows what he or she is doing!
When I first saw I was like "Oh I wonder if that's the villain?" When he was I was not surprised I mean team rocket does better jobs disguising themselves
Am I the only one that didn't like kicking this dude's ass? Every time I battled him I used weak moves or I just didn't do anything because I wanted to hear this amazing track. I was kind of sad the last time I battled him since I wouldn't get to hear this again.
No, Thanos only wanted to take out half the human race. Lysandre wanted to kill everyone. And that's nothing compared to Cyrus who wanted to kill the whole *universe.*
Lysandre is like a real world villain, he speaks of peace but in the end he just wants to kill the populace based on some twisted philosophy just like everyone else.
The only difference is that Lysandre wanted to DESTROY EARTH (except for team flare), and Cyrus wanted to RULE the UNIVERSE (only him, not team galactic). So in those terms, Cyrus > Lysandre in evilness
I hate it when people say they like Lysandre as a villain. He's just copypasta. Ever played PKMN mystery dungeon: gates to infinity? Because that is where they copy/pasted the antagonist's motives from. Lys isn't original. All he does is SAY that the world is going down the drain. In GTI, the player is actually SHOWN what is going on, and it is actually somewhat impactful.
Team Leader (note that I didn’t say “evil”) themes in a nutshell: •Giovani: Remixed Rocket Takeover •Archie/Maxie: *Blares Trumpet* •Cyrus: “I’ll just loop the song and increase the pitch for the second half of the theme.” •Ghetsis: *Drumming intensifies* •Ghetsis 2 Electric Boogaloo: “DENNIS DENNIS DENNIS DENNIS AAAAAAAAAHHHHHH” •Lysandre: Gun •Guzma: “Aw yeah. Team Skull. Cool cat.” •Lusamine: *harpsichord intensifies* •Piers: Expertly incorporates parts of the Rocket Hideout theme and N’s battle theme into his own unique gym leader theme. •Rose: *Intense choir chanting* •Volo: “You picked the wrong house fool!” •Penny: *Giacomo frying both his brain and laptop in real time to crank out this banger* •AI Sada/Turo: Oppa Toby Style x Hopes And Dreams
Lot of people are memeing in the comments but god this brings so much nostalgia to me when playing through Pokemon X haha! I remember getting really invested into the storyline and everything but maybe it's because this was my very first pokemon game? Nevertheless, nostalgia trip is on the way hop on kids!
It’s not just you. The story had so much potential, that if you experienced it as someone on the younger side and without thinking way too hard about it, it can pass up as good.
Pokemon Y was my first Pokémon and I still love everything about it. It has its flaws but it has some emotional link with me. I really hope that when the time comes for X/Y to be remade they don’t give it the BD/SP treatment
Same thing for me with pokemon y. I still think Delphox is decent as it was my first starter even tho Greninja is better, but I do not let people trash XYs soundtrack.
*20 minutes later* Lysandre: How did you beat me?! How?! Calem: I- Lysandre: No, you know what, I am taking the rest of my Death Bird/ Life Deer power and Killing us all/ Making us all Immortal. Calem: ...I'm just going to leave now- Lysandre: Fire the super laser piss! Flood us all!
Lysandre in-game lore: "Looks like a fashion crazed man but also wants world peace." Lysandre in my lore: "Had to look like a flaming villain because he's acting as a character in a movie that was in production, but after he was exposed the movie was canceled."
+kittyqueen9000 Add in Dakim from Colloseum for Team "Same General Character Model." Seriously, they like their tall, skinny, insanely spiky red-haired dudes. Side note: Dakim is even closer in resemblance to Alder.
This is what happened to every team boss in Pokémon: Giovanni: Possibly committed suicide Maxie/Archie: Live happily Cyrus: Trapped in the distortion world Gehitsis: Becomes crazy Lysandre: Is very dead. Guzma: Idk, I never played Sun/Moon
Okay, i guess i'm the only one that belives that Lysander ISN'T dead. Did you guys forget that Az fired the cannon as well? I'm pretty sure he was close enough to the blast to die. And Az is still alive. No. Lysander is coming back. Nobody with a plan THIS devious stays dead.
I tore this guy apart in five minutes. Not because I was OP but because I was absolutely pissed at him. Route 10 was closed off. Team Flare was using Pokemon to power the stones for the Ultimate Weapon. What Pokemon is located in Kalos at Route 10? Oh, just my signature Pokemon, Golett. Yeah, he tried to hurt my "kids". I went Mama Ursaring on his ass like you wouldn't believe.
I swept him all three times in Y with Greninja by spamming Surf. Got revenge for Sephazon, who lost to this guy in the WonderSleeplocke versus with Marriland.
First battle: I laugh at your weakness. Evolve your Pokemon, genius. Second battle: Oh, you took my advice? I still laugh at you because you are still weak. Third battle: Doc Oc, is that you?
The truth is that Pokémon plot is set on an utopical society, so I thought Lysandre's plan unnecesary. Also, his Team Flare are mostly a bag of douchebags who only paid a fee to get salvation, so one contradiction there. If it were on this world, I would gladly have helped Lysandre- we are far from being an utopical society- However he was ignoring something. As long as there were humans over this world the story would repeat itself over and over again: one tyrant ruler after another, people thirsty of power and people so full with it that they abuse of it, and the rest of the people that are below that don't know power, but as soon as they get it, they repeat the same story. Somehow I could sympathize the misanthropy that Lysandre has (you should have realized that I am a misanthropist myself at this point), but it's hopeless the way he's doing things. The Pokémon should the ones that needed to survive, and humans to disappear. As some guy near Cyllage city said "Pokémon don't need humans to survive, but humans need Pokémon to survive". Earth doesn't need us to carry on. We are too many and only a bunch of us have the most resources of this planet and eslave the rest, using the ideologies, the religions, the propaganda, the advertisement, the consumism, and the individualism to brainwash us all and making us live the way they want. Representative Democracy is a disguised plutocracy, and in nearly every "democratic" country there is a politic nobility that supports themselves to keep themselves in the power. Lysandre indeed has a point.
i agree the only point i might want to point out is that team flare grunts are actually rather nice in a general sense i doubt lysandre was at all looking for money when recruiting his members id feel he'd choose them around character and belief with a sort of fear installed as well. he didnt need any sort of funding he runs a cafe and a entire holo casting company and hes of royal decent he has plenty of money.
lol lysandere was just a guy who wanted bad people gone. he didnt think about it much, its a childish theme for the kids who play. dont read so deep into this XD
Gregor Jittlov Jr. Childish theme? have you even read the pokedex entries on some pokemon? they are freaking creepy, enough to be supposed for people 16+
Gregor Jittlov Jr. Not much. If you compare with other games like Tales series, Metal Gear series and Mother series obviously the plot is more basic by far. However, I value the fact I could identify in a villian. Even if Pokémon is doomed to be not plot driven, it's because the formula had worked so far. Just imagine for a minute if they were to break the scheme: you are, say, a former Gym Leader (you had your differences between you, the others and the Elite Four), and you were on a cruise that somehow wrecks, and you lose all your Pokemon in the process. When you wake up there is only one Pokemon besides you: the one who saved your life. And then the plot starts. You discover that it was the criminal organization of the region the responsable for the ship wrecking, and most of the Gym Leaders and the Elite Four are involved, and you remember you got out because something smelt like rotten there. As you could have noticed, it would be too revolutionary that they would risk much of its audience. BUT much of those elements were put on X/Y in a slight way so the focus of the game would be the same as always.
lol keep in mind metal gear is a much more violent game compared to pokemon. i see your points, but u have to remember this is marketed to children as well as adults. theres just so many flaws with the idea of killing 'everyone bad.' first off, only the rich, greedy, or evil seem to be on team flare. its considered an evil organization for all the stuff it fucks up, and ets not forget all the good people not on team flare who would die due to his plan.
You know considering the weirdness of many team flare design lysandre actually looks really good and definitely like the final boss of an evil organization
Hate me as much as you want In my opinion, X and Y could have become two of the greatest game in the franchise, and they're still really good. Sure, they have their flaws, but they gave us three Cool-as-hell Legendaries, a beautiful concept behind a Villain Team and some beautiful 'Mons like Greninja. TL;DR: The Kalos games are really good (in my opinion, obviously they're no Black and White) and don't deserve this much hate.
I like X and Y despite their flaws. To me, their biggest saving grace in the amazing roster of Pokemon to use. There are so many options by the time you get to the 2nd gym.
Lysandre really played a role. Before i played X, i thought he was insane because I've heard he wanted to kill everyone in the world from my friends who played. I thought he was beyond evil. I played X myself and recently beat it, now i do't see him insane because i understand his character. (spoiler warning). he wanted to make the world beautiful by getting his ultimate weapon and such. he's kind of like N because both of them don't know the consequences of their work.
I thought at beginning there are people taking pictures of him instead of him cocking a gun. He is thinking 'look at my fabulous hair, you better take good pictures of me or else...'
I heard that Lysandre is an easy fight (I never got to play this unfortunately), but this music would sure make him look scary AF!!! It's so angry and sinister! I love this!
@@CEOofAutismit's pokemon. It's either easy or it's not. This is an easier one. Too many people hate this specific game for being what Pokemon is. Made for kids. Kids don't want dark souls.
Anybody else hear a gun being loaded right as the song begins? A reference to suicide, perhaps? A little foreshadowing on Lysandre's ultimate fate, maybe? Eh? EH?
The Drunken Coward It is a machine. If you played the game x or y after you catch the game's legendary he gets mad and battles you with robotic arms on his backpack.
I love this man's theme. But when I saw that mega ring on him I already KNEW he would be trouble. I love (somewhat) subtle hints like that, the game gives us opportunities to analyze what our opponent knows and has so we can use it to our advantage (or dismay).
Me fighting Lysandre for 3rd time "Jesus again? Already did this for 2 other times" "Haha you have a tiny ring!!!! My mega ring is bigger!" "Hes not even mega evolving." *sends out gyarados* "well heres his last guy, I win." *mega evolves* "shit"
He may not be a tragic villain like N or a complete homicidal genius like Ghetsis, but you do have to admit, his theme is pretty badass, especially when that guitar kicks in
Motives of bosses in Pokemon: Rocket - Profit & Power Magma - More landmass for Pokemon Habitats Aqua - Larger seas for Pokemon Habitats Galactic - Create a better universe (without emotions, like sadness) N/Plasma - Free the Pokemon to make them happier Ghetsis/Plasma - Rule the world and have total power Colress/Plasma - Expose the power inside of Pokemon through science Flare - Create a better world mostly without humans to end suffering of Pokemon If you think about, all but Rocket and Ghetsis/Plasma are doing something right... HELPING THE POKEMON!!!
Spoilers for the Flare subplot of Pokemon x and y below: But Lysandre's plan, as he admitted, involved exterminating all pokemon aswell as the majority of humanity since he felt their power corrupted man even though they where completely innocent. Lysandre: Tryin to do something right only to balls it up at the last second.
If you look back, Cyrus also planned to kill off everyone, but the game kept it much more subtle than when they explained Lysandre's motives. The difference between them is that Cyrus goes to much more drastic extremes to achieve his goals--rather than want to wipe the slate clean and make the current world a better place, he wanted to wipe the slate clean even further by creating an entirely new universe from scratch, and admitted he didn't care about his Team, unlike Lysandre, seeing that many of his underlings are either stupid, corrupt or "incomplete", and planned to kill off everyone but himself. He actually becomes much closer to succeeding than any other Pokémon villain, with the only thing left to save the day was Giratina's unexpected appearance out of nowhere. In the end, Cyrus ended up getting a fate worse than death, having been banished to the Distortion World for eternity, but in a way, I guess he got what he wanted--an entire world to himself.
Pokémon Legends Z-A prediction: Lysandre’s ancestor is going to use Xerneas/Yveltal as well as a Mega Gyarados in a battle like in USUM Or Volo comes back and has a Mega Garchomp idk
Lysandre is the Grayest Pokemon has ever gotten. I swear. Even N didn't give me the amount of feels this guy did. I mean, Lysandre knows what he's doing at wrong, and he knows that the world itself is beautiful (check his research notes) but he knows that the planet is going to run out of resources eventually. This is a man who is desperate who sees litterally no other way to the situation. He even cried knowing he would wipe out every single Pokemon and human on Earth.
I don't know, if these "gray", deep and meaningful villians really work in a game-series like Pokemon with its kinda abstract gameplay. I mean, here the evil plan involves mass-genocide and still he let's the player go and ruin his efforts, just because he defeated him and his team in pokemon battles... There must be another way for the player to ruin the plan of the villian without letting him act like a total douchebag.
That's the thing, he doesn't really give up after you beat him. He gets furious, sure, but he never really says: "Okay I give up and will reform" like Giovanni did. He tried at a last ditch effort to make his plans work. Result: He got crushed by boulders.
I mean the part, where you beat him and he lets you go to check out the Legendary Pokemon which is hooked up to the Ultimate Weapon... The ONE thing he needs to fulfill his plan. You would think, he tries to protect it with more than a bunch of trainers...
soratazharatos At that point, his planned had already failed. Xerneas / Yveltal was loose, and it wasn't exactly pleased at being hooked up like some sort of obscene battery.
Ash Ketchum ash calm down it's the bad writing I blame them not the characters. -_- pikachu got pwned by a magikarp and that really made me say "stupid anime writers they know nothing anymore -_- "
gen 6 is underrated. Like yeah it has a lot of bad things but like it was their try at making a whole ass Pokémon game in 3D it was pretty much just a test game, but hey the models were cool though. Also they had to make like what? 700-800 Pokémon? (I can’t remember how many Pokémon there were around the gen 6 time) Now I, myself don’t like the change to 3D but I still gotta give credit where credits due.

At the start of the battle in XY, you can hear a gun reload, which shows that he has readied the ultimate weapon. In USUM, you can hear a laser at the start of the battle, because the Lysandre in USUM claims to have come from another world where he has completed his plans. Think about that for a second.
This comment blew my mind. There is so much thought into the music.
Also the USUM remix has a faster pace to it and sounds different and more devillish than this version, unlike this one where it just sounds like a remix of the grunt theme

Lysandre is probably the most darkest Team boss. Rather than accept defeat, he fucking fires the weapon onto the base to try and kill you…
Yeah, either him or ghetsis, he was pretty crazy too.
Jepp
@@mr.bananaman7901 It's straight up evil. a gun probally wouldn't effect even the weakest pokemon because caterpie can one shot the ender dragon i'm not joking
caterpie's attack stat is 30 and its move tackle is 40 power 30x40 is 1200 and the Ender Dragon's hp stat is 200.
that is just overkill and hilarious when thinking about it also the ender dragos deffens stat is 1 because the same amount of damage points your weapon has is how much it does meaning its defense divides it by 1 meaning it has a defense stat of 1.
how pokemon works is the power of the move is multiplied by your attack stat and then divided by your opponents defense stat .
do the math and you'll just see how broken the weakest of pokemon is compared to characters from other universes but it makes sense since they are made up of infinity energy.
He's just angry that he was picked on for being ginger

I loved Lysandre as a villain. It's hard to find a character who will tell you that he wants both yourself and himself to die because he wishes to liberate you. You can't deny that not-existing is an absolute escape from all suffering, torment and lamentation. The difference between Lysandre and any other generic villain is that he sees it as a good thing. He believe he is good, and not doing it out of any satisfaction of being 'evil'.
He is pointing the finger at salvation, and he wants to save us all.
*JEVIL WANTS TO KNOW YOUR LOCATION*

Lusamine (both usum and sm) is by far my favorite evil team boss but as much as people are going to hate me for saying this I actually really like lysandre mainly because of his theme but as much as he is bland you can’t help but admit he has just such an eerie personality and plus if you had read the manga he is pretty dang terrifying and as much he seems to be a good person he turns out downright despicable and evil but I still think he’s a pretty decent character ngl

Finally someone who gets what Lysandre is like.
well my problem with lysandre is the fact that he was blunt about being the villain. In the first conversation you have with him, after the second line I knew he was going to be the villain. the only other villain that were like that was cyrus from D/P/Pt but he was at least known as a bad guy. Lysandre I will say was interesting but the combined bluntness and idiocy of everyone who heard him talk kind of ruined him as a villain for me.
gh0stassassin6 You know that Ghetsis is the villain in his first appearance too, and he still is a pretty good villain.
Hugo muinos de andrade
ghetsis wanted to free pokemon....
team plasma no different from other teams, controlling legendaries like reshiram for their own good,
team flare did not, team flare awakened the ultimate weapon to eliminate selfishness and to bring beauty...
Even though it was obvious that Lysandre was the villain, I still found him interesting as a villain.
TheAsianShadow100 You know it's bad when CYNTHIA can't help. :P

You were mad at him...? Mkay lets just all calm down here, this is pokemon ok? Not the best story...
If it were on this world, I would gladly have helped Lysandre- we are far from being an utopical society-
However he was ignoring something.
"Hey guys I want to wipe filth off the face of the world"
"Oh and I'm not evil by the way"
Hate me as much as you want
In my opinion, X and Y could have become two of the greatest game in the franchise, and they're still really good.
Finally, someone who else who thinks the the same way about this gen
Thank you for these words!!
Yup. I completely agree. Kalos is my home region. (Yeah I started playing Pokemon with Gen 6 fight me lol)
I like X and Y despite their flaws. To me, their biggest saving grace in the amazing roster of Pokemon to use. There are so many options by the time you get to the 2nd gym.
@@Bman_Iggy Same my first Pokémon game was Alpha Sapphire and my second was X
Lysandre really played a role. Before i played X, i thought he was insane because I've heard he wanted to kill everyone in the world from my friends who played. I thought he was beyond evil.
I played X myself and recently beat it, now i do't see him insane because i understand his character.
(spoiler warning).
he wanted to make the world beautiful by getting his ultimate weapon and such. he's kind of like N because both of them don't know the consequences of their work.
Lysandre understands the consequences. He's just determined them to be necessary.
@@corjonbett Yeah, he legit cries when revealing his plan to you because he knows he will kill all pokemon.
Ganondorf wants to battle!
Hahahaha sure XD
LOL
his hair and beard make the letter Y
very suspicious...
Especially if you consider Sycamore's color scheme and design similarities to Xerneas
So Sycamore and Lyandre Are enemies maybe?
I never noticed that.
Well, they do say opposites attract...
*shows self out
Bruh... holy hell
Lysander after realising his "perfect" world is not a perfect sphere: oh god, here I go killing again
lysandre is like a human version of Ultron.
JuanMunzerAsakura You know not what crossovers you have released, friend.
Really? I see no flame wars... Yet.
...
*Yet.*
Well...time to draw
+sapphiremantis
heheh..... YES!
I thought at beginning there are people taking pictures of him instead of him cocking a gun. He is thinking 'look at my fabulous hair, you better take good pictures of me or else...'
8 years ago? Holy frick I remember when this game came out
Still one of my favourites after Pokemon white2
@Charon the Toaster relatable
I heard that Lysandre is an easy fight (I never got to play this unfortunately), but this music would sure make him look scary AF!!! It's so angry and sinister! I love this!
The entire game is a cake walk
@@CEOofAutismTrue. I would rather battle Cynthia as a champion again and not some pushover like Diantha.
@@CEOofAutismit's pokemon. It's either easy or it's not. This is an easier one. Too many people hate this specific game for being what Pokemon is. Made for kids. Kids don't want dark souls.
@@currentdeadbydaylightplayer no every Pokémon game is insanely easy because it’s made for kids I’m not saying it’s bad I’m just saying it is

You wanna touch it, don't you?
*Hears gun cock* WHOA WHOA WHOA WHOA DON'T FUCKIN' SHOOT ME!
Guns are dangerous 🙀
Pixelated Yokai I love that your profile goes well with the comment. xD
WERE ARE THERE GUNNNNZ!!!
Yoshidex WGY in the very beginning
Anybody else hear a gun being loaded right as the song begins?
A reference to suicide, perhaps?
A little foreshadowing on Lysandre's ultimate fate, maybe?
Eh?
EH?
I always felt more like it was a machine assembling.
The Drunken Coward It is a machine. If you played the game x or y after you catch the game's legendary he gets mad and battles you with robotic arms on his backpack.
blake zimmerman Ah, yes. Now I remember.
It's been so bloody long since I beat Lysandre, lol.
Geez, never nodiced dat
blake zimmerman
You know, pretty sure a certain other person battles you with robotic arms *COUGH* Clemont *COUGH*
I love this man's theme. But when I saw that mega ring on him I already KNEW he would be trouble. I love (somewhat) subtle hints like that, the game gives us opportunities to analyze what our opponent knows and has so we can use it to our advantage (or dismay).
Me fighting Lysandre for 3rd time
"Jesus again? Already did this for 2 other times"
"Haha you have a tiny ring!!!! My mega ring is bigger!"
"Hes not even mega evolving."
*sends out gyarados*
"well heres his last guy, I win."
*mega evolves*
"shit"
He may not be a tragic villain like N or a complete homicidal genius like Ghetsis, but you do have to admit, his theme is pretty badass, especially when that guitar kicks in
Lysandre wants to erase the world, ghetsis is just a psychopath
Motives of bosses in Pokemon:
Rocket - Profit & Power
Magma - More landmass for Pokemon Habitats
Aqua - Larger seas for Pokemon Habitats
Galactic - Create a better universe (without emotions, like sadness)
N/Plasma - Free the Pokemon to make them happier
Ghetsis/Plasma - Rule the world and have total power
Colress/Plasma - Expose the power inside of Pokemon through science
Flare - Create a better world mostly without humans to end suffering of Pokemon
If you think about, all but Rocket and Ghetsis/Plasma are doing something right...
HELPING THE POKEMON!!!
Spoilers for the Flare subplot of Pokemon x and y below:
But Lysandre's plan, as he admitted, involved exterminating all pokemon aswell as the majority of humanity since he felt their power corrupted man even though they where completely innocent. Lysandre: Tryin to do something right only to balls it up at the last second.
Dan c True
Dan c That was the best cutscene ever.
Flare - Cause complete destruction to create beauty.
Pokémon Legends Z-A prediction: Lysandre’s ancestor is going to use Xerneas/Yveltal as well as a Mega Gyarados in a battle like in USUM
Or Volo comes back and has a Mega Garchomp idk
It’s gonna be set in the future, Lysandre will still be alive due to the ultimate weapon making him immortal mark my words.
@@Cryin98 wait I didn’t think of that, that would actually be really awesome
@@Cryin98this is what I think will happen. They’ll make his team more advanced too.
@@esmin2400 glad to have someone on my side - seems pretty obvious, no?
This is such beautifully intense music~! ^^
BellyThat Productions he actually escapes and survives that you know
Karens:
"lysandre you cant just use a gun sound effect in your song! This is a Kids Game"
Lysandre:
"Haha ultimate Weapon go Brr"
haha literal genocide attempt go brrrrr
Can you guys imagine if we got a Karen to be the next Antagonist after Sw/Sh?
I didn’t know Lysandre was supposed to be a twist villain, got confused when people were just talking to him like a normal person
I mean, to be fair, French ‘people’ are all a bit unhinged so he’d blend in just fine
In the Lumiose station if you read the sign it mentions
Mr.briney and his Wingull named Peeko...
HOENN REMAKE CONFIRMED

lol true
Literally the best theme music in a Pokemon game, don’t at me!
@Ryaquaza I agree lmao
Love the choir. It reminds me of Lusamine.
gen 6 is underrated.
This theme is awesome. It rocks. I don't why people don't like it
Lysandre is a JOJO villain, why because he stands out
The Thanos before Thanos.
