can u hook up them fuses wrong??? like put the wires on wrong and make it blow up. cause i thought i hooked it up right but when i turned it on the breaker literally blew up

Not really is just a swtich, closed when its cold, open when hot. You have a short somewhere or created one when you did the repair.
