    Good video. Right to the point. I’ll be doing this to my 2016 Silverado LT in a few weeks. I have a shop I can spray in so maybe not as messy.. your work was very clean!!

    Thanks for this video! So, I have a 2009 F150 that currently has a plastic drop-in liner. There's a bit of rust under the liner, so I'm thinking of spraying in a liner like this. What would you do about the rust?

    • @Myksgarage
      @Myksgarage  Год назад +1

      I would just sand it down, even use a wire wheel, then just coat it

    Hello , did the joints of the bed (where the sides meet the bottom ) have a rubbery caulk ? If so, did you spray over it ?

    Does it have to be a certain temperature if painting it on outside? Obviously not in the direct sunlight or wind.

      The warmer the better, and yes, avoid windy days or direct sunlight

    Do you have a water separator on your air compressor?

      It's not hard, the prep is the hardest part, And then making sure you have everything taped off and covered so you don't get any of this bedliner on the paint of the truck. I say go for it!

      I do this professionally. As he said. It’s all in the prep. Spraying is the easy part. Just make sure you get high contact areas with proper thickness. And tape off your areas well and you’ll be fine!

    It has now been a year, how did it hold up?

    • @Myksgarage
      @Myksgarage  Год назад +3

      It's held up well, I've kept a mat on it so the mat as taken all the abuse.

    Anymore we all need to put our vehicles on a rotisserie and completely lingered underneath so as the salts and weather do not eat it away. IT sickens me you pay between 50 to 80 thousand for a new vehicle
    & nothing to protectthe under side and within 3 weeks it is starting to rust the new
    metal.

      Yeah that is crazy that there is such little rust protection

      Pretty good, I keep a rubber mat on bottom so it doesn't get beat up
