to make it easier for you, let's divide them into "lines" *RAPLINE* -RM -SUGA/Agust D -j-hope (we call him Hobi or sometimes Sunshine cause he's very energetic like you saw him being the hype man) *VOCAL LINE* -Jin -Jimin -V -Jungkook (yes, he's a subrapper but he doesn't rap that much anymore, he's more focused on singing)
Don't worry about not being able to identify them all right away! It usually takes a little time and most fans are understanding of that. Their strength as a group really is unmatched. They all shine individually as well, but their synergy when they come together is something else.
I wasn’t planning on becoming an ARMY when I came across Dynamite but the minute I watched their first live performance of that song at the VMAs 2020 I was hooked. I only watched Dynamite because BTS pay tribute to my ultimate idol Michael Jackson via their choreography. As I watched them live, I felt their energy and level of professionalism reminded me of MJ, that I was seeing the kind of artist that is very special. Plus this was September 2020 about 6 months into the pandemic and the joy they bring gets transmitted through the screen. The songs in this Room Live are B-sides taken from BTS albums 2013-2020. The song titles was sometimes in Korean and sometimes in English so the set list was: 1. Like 2. Look Here 3. Save Me 4. Outro Wings 5. Pied Piper 6. Ugh 7. Telepathy This will sound like a flex but I’m sure you’ll soon find it’s true- BTS are incredible live, always better than even the studio or MV. It’s because of the energy they bring coupled with their talent. Another flex sounding- BTS discography is diverse and there aren’t any skips. Of course, you’ll like some songs more than others but there’s no album fillers or mediocre ones. Top Tip:- Enjoy BTS More will have quality English subtitles for BTS live performances including this one, so when you said “I wish I knew what he said” you’d know he introduced Ugh by saying the 3 best rappers of 2021 got together.
The coolest thing about BTS is they actually get along with each other. They are not perfect but that's what makes them real. They are goofy, nerdy but they're also super cool too. Other groups try so hard to be like them, but they naturally have got the formula. I'm what's called OT7 which means I'm crazy about them all. I watched some reactors last week when one stated, that the rapper he was watching could give BTS a run for their money and then he realized the rapper was from BTS.

Bts are young but they are more experienced than any groups out there. The amount of content they put out over the past 10 years is more than 10 groups content combined. They are super hard working and they love and good at what they do. They have quantity, quality and sincerity. They are living legends

You are correct, at 6:28 that is RM spitting bars to Look Here. At 7:36 the hype man is J-Hope (our Sunshine). At 10:54 that is Yoongi (SUGA) rapping. And yes all of them can rap but the main rappers are RM (Namjoon), SUGA (Yoongi), and J-Hope (Jung Hoseok). At 11:38, that is V(Taehyung). At 12:54 that is J-Hope again. I just found you through this and I'm subscribing - you're clearly thoughtful and curious and I'm going to enjoy this journey 😁 Lots of folks start with a pretty strong bias, btw - and Jimin catches plenty of people! You can absolutely be drawn more to one member or another, it's just putting them in competition with each other that folks get worried about. Lots of us don't really have a favorite though. Mine changes depending on who I'm looking at 😂 I don't think you got any of them right other than RM, but don't worry 😂😂😂 it's part of the process. Usually the point of no return is "I just want to know their names" and then people find out that they're good at what they do and also damn good people. And then you're in the rabbit hole 😂 People might tell you how to approach their stuff, but I just want to say there's no wrong way. Follow your own curiosity, keep your mind open (which is clearly not a problem for you), and dive into whatever grabs you. If you tell us what you want to learn or see, we'll give you suggestions. That said, I think you'd get a ton out of Born Singer - and it's one where you can watch an early live performance and then one from last year, and really see how they've changed.

The names at the bottom right hand corner are actually the names of the albums the songs were in. The name of the song is on the bottom left hand corner. And yes you cant say one is better than the other. All members have different music styles even between the rappers and between the vocalists. You can have biases but sometimes this can be fluid though you may still stan one. Its hard. They are a solid group whose solos stand out but as a group they are magical in all aspects music, lyricism, personalities and performance. If you say the introduction to the members there are 3 rappers and 4 vocalist whose ranges are different form each other. Maybe you should watch Tear the rappers can hook you and the watch House of Cards and Truth Untold so that the vocalists can reel you in. These suggestions are just starters. Also really worth noting their songs are social commentaries and you should read and appreciate the lyrics because some of the osngs like UGH is not about bopping your hate but spitting on those who misuse anger .
Hi! 2 month old baby ARMY here. ^-^ just wanted to say your reactions come off as chill, organic, and genuine. Thanks for sharing your journey with us :) Altho i'm relatively new, i relate to being a fan late in the game-- it was very overwhelming at the beginning. I hope u take care of yourself and take your time without getting too burnt out amidst your uni studies! If there's anything i could rec, it would be: 1) don't worry about getting names and faces down! I'm asian and it still took me a while to stop getting them mixed up at first haha, let it happen naturally. 2) vibe out to some solo or group album work on your own time! (Unpopular opinion?) 3) ppl will want you to like every member, but if i'm being totally honest, i wouldn't worry about it. For me, the reason i grew to love the boys is because i got to see how much they love each other. E.g. if u like Jimin, u will see soon how much he loves BTS :) Everyone else can explain the b-sides and discography 😆 as a baby ARMY i'm not too equipped to rec stuff, but i personally dig your analyses of music videos, choreo, and interviews. I'd say just go with your gut.

Don't worry it will come to you. 1. Don't focus on haircolour they change a lot.(maybe go by mic colour) Look at face structure and voice. So you already know jimin You can identify him perfect... jimin: Soft face lovely voice.(six-pack like JK) So here I go by fanchant ..leader an then by age... So RM the leader. Raspy deep rap voice ..dragon eyes .dimples. amazing teeth.big smile. Jin the oldest, big plum lips,high voice and very beautiful overall. Unique laugh when you watch some of the behind stuff or their run show. Suga one of the smallest members next to jimin 😂(you asked if he was the youngest in the clip) he raps fast with a unique breath in his rap. Soft features cat like eyes. Jhope (the energetic one you pointed out) always dancing and hyping the other members up. Melodic rap voice. Big smile. Next would be jimin 💜 Then V or tae (he has a big smile as well slightly box shaped) deep soulfull voice. If he is not smiling he has a very stong expression. He and jimin often goof around. Lastly the youngest. Jungkook or JK.He has purple hair and always purple mic. Big round eyes and a "bunny" like smile (his front teeth are slightly longer) He also has army tattooed on his hand. Don't worry about not being able to identify them all right away! It usually takes a little time and most fans are understanding of that. Their strength as a group really is unmatched. They all shine individually as well, but their synergy when they come together is something else.
I wasn’t planning on becoming an ARMY when I came across Dynamite but the minute I watched their first live performance of that song at the VMAs 2020 I was hooked. I only watched Dynamite because BTS pay tribute to my ultimate idol Michael Jackson via their choreography. As I watched them live, I felt their energy and level of professionalism reminded me of MJ, that I was seeing the kind of artist that is very special. Plus this was September 2020 about 6 months into the pandemic and the joy they bring gets transmitted through the screen.
The songs in this Room Live are B-sides taken from BTS albums 2013-2020. The song titles was sometimes in Korean and sometimes in English so the set list was:

This will sound like a flex but I’m sure you’ll soon find it’s true- BTS are incredible live, always better than even the studio or MV. It’s because of the energy they bring coupled with their talent.
Another flex sounding- BTS discography is diverse and there aren’t any skips. Of course, you’ll like some songs more than others but there’s no album fillers or mediocre ones.
Top Tip:- Enjoy BTS More will have quality English subtitles for BTS live performances including this one, so when you said “I wish I knew what he said” you’d know he introduced Ugh by saying the 3 best rappers of 2021 got together.
The coolest thing about BTS is they actually get along with each other. They are not perfect but that's what makes them real. They are goofy, nerdy but they're also super cool too. Other groups try so hard to be like them, but they naturally have got the formula. I'm what's called OT7 which means I'm crazy about them all. I watched some reactors last week when one stated, that the rapper he was watching could give BTS a run for their money and then he realized the rapper was from BTS.
there’s three rappers… it was in the intro u watched. most rapping always done by either rm, suga, jhope. the one u thought was the youngest was actually suga. the one with the purple hair is jungkook (the youngest and main vocal). the one in the green shirt doing the funny dancing is v. the rapper w the deep voice in the beginning is rm. the rapper who u thought may have been suga was jhope. jin is the singer w the jacket.
Bts are young but they are more experienced than any groups out there. The amount of content they put out over the past 10 years is more than 10 groups content combined. They are super hard working and they love and good at what they do. They have quantity, quality and sincerity. They are living legends

And yes all of them can rap but the main rappers are RM (Namjoon), SUGA (Yoongi), and J-Hope (Jung Hoseok). At 11:38, that is V(Taehyung). At 12:54 that is J-Hope again. If you want to see beautiful harmonization and the boys enjoying singing together, you must see BTS Tiny Desk. They are really have the best time as a group!! It was during the pandemic. Here's the breakdown of the group:
RM: Main rapper/leader - He writes a majority of their lyrics (If you want to hear his absolute best fast rapping check out his solo "Joke". It was a slam to the haters.)
Suga: Rapper/producer - He is the wise soulful one. He just released his solo album D-Day under the name AgustD and sold out 10-15 concerts in the US and Asia.
J-Hope: Rapper/Dancer - He is known for his pop n lock fast dancing style.
Jungkook: Lead vocals/dancer - He is the youngest but is mega talented with his range and passionate dancing. His solo album is coming July 14, 2023. Lots of folks start with a pretty strong bias, btw - and Jimin catches plenty of people! You can absolutely be drawn more to one member or another, it's just putting them in competition with each other that folks get worried about. Lots of us don't really have a favorite though. Mine changes depending on who I'm looking at 😂
I don't think you got any of them right other than RM, but don't worry 😂😂😂 it's part of the process. Usually the point of no return is "I just want to know their names" and then people find out that they're good at what they do and also damn good people. And then you're in the rabbit hole 😂
People might tell you how to approach their stuff, but I just want to say there's no wrong way. Follow your own curiosity, keep your mind open (which is clearly not a problem for you), and dive into whatever grabs you. If you tell us what you want to learn or see, we'll give you suggestions.

The names at the bottom right hand corner are actually the names of the albums the songs were in. The name of the song is on the bottom left hand corner. And yes you cant say one is better than the other. All members have different music styles even between the rappers and between the vocalists. You can have biases but sometimes this can be fluid though you may still stan one. Its hard. They are a solid group whose solos stand out but as a group they are magical in all aspects music, lyricism, personalities and performance. If you say the introduction to the members there are 3 rappers and 4 vocalist whose ranges are different form each other. Maybe you should watch Tear the rappers can hook you and the watch House of Cards and Truth Untold so that the vocalists can reel you in. These suggestions are just starters. Also really worth noting their songs are social commentaries and you should read and appreciate the lyrics because some of the osngs like UGH is not about bopping your hate but spitting on those who misuse anger .

Altho i'm relatively new, i relate to being a fan late in the game-- it was very overwhelming at the beginning. I hope u take care of yourself and take your time without getting too burnt out amidst your uni studies!
If there's anything i could rec, it would be:
1) don't worry about getting names and faces down! I'm asian and it still took me a while to stop getting them mixed up at first haha, let it happen naturally.
2) vibe out to some solo or group album work on your own time! (Unpopular opinion?)
3) ppl will want you to like every member, but if i'm being totally honest, i wouldn't worry about it. For me, the reason i grew to love the boys is because i got to see how much they love each other. E.g. if u like Jimin, u will see soon how much he loves BTS :)
Everyone else can explain the b-sides and discography 😆 as a baby ARMY i'm not too equipped to rec stuff, but i personally dig your analyses of music videos, choreo, and interviews. I'd say just go with your gut.

So here I go by fanchant ..leader an then by age...
So RM the leader. Raspy deep rap voice ..dragon eyes .dimples. amazing teeth.big smile.
Jin the oldest, big plum lips,high voice and very beautiful overall. Unique laugh when you watch some of the behind stuff or their run show.
Suga one of the smallest members next to jimin 😂(you asked if he was the youngest in the clip) he raps fast with a unique breath in his rap. Soft features cat like eyes.
Jhope (the energetic one you pointed out) always dancing and hyping the other members up. Melodic rap voice. Big smile.
Next would be jimin 💜
Then V or tae (he has a big smile as well slightly box shaped) deep soulfull voice. If he is not smiling he has a very stong expression.
He and jimin often goof around.
Lastly the youngest. Jungkook or JK.He has purple hair and always purple mic.
Big round eyes and a "bunny" like smile (his front teeth are slightly longer)
He also has army tattooed on his hand. In live perfoemances, he jimin tae and jhope are mostly in the middle.(they all rotate and do formation so EVERY member that sings is in the middle do ALL are in the center at on pont in the song) He hamonizes often with the others.
