    Looks better than ever.
    Love the board throw special move, but I'm not sure how well being motionless for the duration will sit.
    A possible suggestion is maybe allow player movement off the board, like regular walking. This might help more conveniently explore tight spaces, and while you throw the board you won't be a sitting duck.
    Maybe even incorporate it into the combat system, where the player can use the board as a melee/thrown weapon. As a melee weapon, it just adds to regular attacks, while as a thrown weapon it will travel in a short linear path away and then back to the player, while the player navigates and repositions themselves.

      Unfortunately, making the character walk/run involves a whole new set of features that we don't have the resources to add for this game but we could make something like a shield around her while she's waiting (the robots don't target her during this attack anyways)

      @@dreamteckstudio you could have her jump off the board in the opposite direction you're going beforehand so you have a little bit of movement

      I think something like making the protagonist glow and hover in the air rather than simply landing would be great. Like you activate a "supercharger" for your board, she leaps up, hovers, or does an extended backflip, and lands back on the board after it comes back, ready to ride again.

    It would be so cool if there were little trials/dungeons where you had special challenges, such as a movement course or kill only these types of enemies, etc … The game looks amazing btw!

      We have exactly that. Only not dungeons. Maybe in the next video I'll show more of that.

    Excited for the game. My feedback would be that the momentum of the hover board looks a bit unrealistic, like at 5:15 when it just speeds up weirdly while it’s in the air and then loses that momentum. Same for when you attack the enemies, the hoverboard sort of gains a bunch of speed out of nowhere and hits the enemy. Looks a bit weird to me, unless that’s what you were going for. Also, I played Lifeslide, (which I really liked btw,) and one thing I liked was how you had to gain and manage speed strategically, and just the physics of that game was very fun. I hope you have that sort of thing in this game. Also I hope there’s some sort of hard mode because I haven’t put enough holes in my wall out of rage. Game looks great though, excited to play it.       You are probably referring to the dash move which is a temporary boost triggered by the player. It's meant to work like that.

    Changes look good! My biggest issue with the demo was having no idea what to do, so I’m glad that was addressed.

      I think not knowing what to do would always be an issue with this game to some degree but we've done our best to make it so that the game just offers you stuff to do even if you can't figure out what the goal is in the beginning.

    Yeah, these changes seem really juicy, I didn't play the demo but I have been a long time watcher, very excited to play the updated demo.
    Edit: one last thing I think it will be important to convey speed. It seemed in some clips you were but just wanted to point it out. Especially on the attacks based around zooming around

    I've been messing around with modular structures in Godot recently, and I have to say your modular robot enemy system is SO COOL! Maybe you could even build your own robot companion from parts that you obtain!
    Also that attack animation looks insane, the only way I can think to improve it is to maybe move the camera so it captures both the player, the boards and the enemies, or maybe find another way to make it more dynaic (ex: flurry rushes in breath of the wild)

    Looks awesome! I think the dash mechanic is a great idea to help if you lose momentum during combat.

    Just to point out that the grass at 6:25 is not setup properly, so it looks kinda weird

    I have not played the game but here are some things I want to say after watching the video:
    - I love the simplified environment design!
    - 7:55 the attack/jump onto enemies feels kind of weak and not satisfying. Would love more impact --> faster jump animation onto the enemy and in comparison a slower (maybe even in an upward curve) jumping off the enemy animation (good recent example Zeta from Granblue Fantasy Relink)
    - 8:13 I would never use that attack bc it disrupts the flow of the game with a long as animation. You could set the attack time to a fixed time of like 1,5sec or so. For the visual maybe add a combo of board attack and pistol attack --> board gets kicked fast to a main target and comes back in an upwards curve. After kicking the board the player could do some cool moves in the air (maybe spin attack like reaper from overwatch) hitting nearby enemies. When the board comes back after the set time of like 1,5sec the pistol attack also stops and you get a short boost to get back into flow.
    -a random idea/concept that came to mind is the concept of using enemy projectile against them if timed correctly (Cupheads special colored projectiles was my first thought)

    oh hheeeeeellllllll yes those bosses look soooo cool! the AoE wipe looks super neat as well, and I'm really happy that it's not just a generic explosion! also I spy a wild me at 1:36 MOM GET THE CAMERA.
    Real talk, the improvements look fantastic, and I'm so glad to be able to provide continued feedback to a dev team that cares about the playability of its game, not just getting a product out the door. Can't wait to back you on KS!

    Idea for the ultimate: Vira jumps off her hoverboard, it charges up and releases a beam of energy that chains between nearby enemies to destroy them? Or just a beam the character can aim.

    This game has come so far from its beginnings. The Dreamteck team should be proud of all the progress! The game is starting to look like a triple A experience. But with more personality of course. Incredible!

    Great progress!
    The biggest issue that I noticed is that the enemy hit effect needs to feel more satisfying, imo. More/better VFX, but not too much to block vision.
    And maybe adjust the SFX too.

    I'd suggest making it so that her upper torso and head turn to face where the camera is looking, to a degree; she shouldnt be breaking her neck or back lol. Right now, she feels more like a toy than a person with how static her head is.
    Also just some more animations, like a loosy goosy sway to her hover whenever shes moving slowly and not in combat. Right now, she always feels ON, if that makes sense.
    She just feels lifeless at the moment.
    Sorry for coming off harsh...

    Suggestion for the scor/combo attack: Maybe changing the animation to a kind of thor's hammer type of attack, where the board is quickly thrown out to bounce between enemies.
    Overall though all the new changes look great!

    You could try slowing down time on everything except the board during the board kick move, kind of like botw bullet time and that way the player won't land on the ground before the board comes back.

    Hey, if you want to make the board throw special move more impactful just add some small explosions when the board hits the enemies!

    I love the throwing the board thing the only issue is the game is designed to be really fast-paced and always in action which means sitting around when you don't have your hoverboard seems to break immersion a little. I would suggest having the player run around (like mentioned in another comment) but have a little trail behind them and have them move quite fast so it's like the hoverboard but not really if that makes sense?

      Yeah, we are already working on making this attack way more dynamic. Feedback here is always super valuable and really helps us tackle problems before its too late

    ive been loving the dev vlogs since u started on the game and was very excited to try the demo when it came out. but im going to be completely honest i sucked at it and couldnt figure out how the hoverboard works so i uninstalled after about 10 minutes

    Does anyone in the team love the ratchet and clank series by any chance?
    Its one of my most favorite game series ever starting from the first game (yes, I'm old)
    The environment design and graphical style reminds me a lot of ratchet and clank and i love. This alao goes for the robots, some parts like the rails, the skybox etc.
    If not, check the series out it may be very good source of inspiration for abilities and such ❤
    (Cant wait for your steam release!)

    I might be wrong here, but I feel like killing enemies ruins the momentum since it temporarily stops the flow of the rider, imagine if she had a katana and she could slice through enemies without losing any speed, or something like that I dunnow... my dumb suggestion aside, there must be a way to fight enemies without killing the momentum and without turning it into an FPS game :D

      Everything is built around the mods and gadgets you equip. There are items which make you speed up when hitting enemies and others that shoot stuff while making tricks so you can make a build to plow through enemies or make one to fight them from a distance.

    is the game multiplayer?
    I've been looking for a game to play with friends but I'll probably play it anyway regardless of if it is or isn't

      Unfortunately it isn't. Adding multiplayer is a strain on development and OVERRIDER requires a lot of experimentation which takes up the budget. If it sees success, we definitely want to add multiplayer to the formula in future though

      @dreamteckstudio like a train that goes around the map and there are enemies on top of it and you need to chase or get on top of it or destroy it to get like points or an upgrade anything to reward the player so there is a sense of chase in the game but you should make it so that its not always moving sometimes its stationery like parked so its not always on

    I think your character is lame. You should do something like Risk Of Rain where you can unlock more characters and abilities as you progress.
