The first 3 Syphon Filter games are a classic. Hearing this tune is not only nostalgic and it best represents Syphon Filter, but is among the best menu games to really get in the mood of the action. I'd love to have a Syphon Filter remaster. There's need to be a Syphon Filter comeback.
We all need to get together and create a petition for Sony to remaster and bring back all the original Syphon Filter games with updated graphics and all recycled voice and audio tracks to the PS3 & 4. I guarantee they will all be million sellers within the year. These were by far the best games of all time. And definitely my favorites
Crash bandicoot and Spyro trilogy sold very well. Next is Medievil. A Syphon Filter remake trilogy could be amazing, I only played the 2nd and I keep great memories from that game, always wanted to play 1st and 3rd game

Remaking this game is in the plans of the same studio that remade crash bandicoot. They released once on facebook an image that contained 4 games asking fans which one they would like to be remade next and they were Crash Twinsanity, Crash Team Racing, Spyro trilogy and Syphon Filter.

I recall all of my friends played Metal Gear Solid, but a neighbour in the condo where I lived had SF2. Man, we spent countless hours giving headshots and grabbing those precious flak jackets in multiplayer mode, it was so much fun. The Syphon Filter trilogy on PS1 was way too underrated, all three were solid action/stealth games with a decent plot behind them, though SF2 was by far my favourite. I loved the minigames on SF3 as well, holy cow they were hard! 989 Studios/Eidetic hit a home run with SF on PS1, and though the PS2 and PSP titles might have not been as good, it's a shame there were no more sequels.
There were rumours last year that this year Sony were possibly releasing a new Syphon Filter game for PS4 so if I were you I'd have 300 Ching Ching on standby just in case.
