That's one of the most painful facts in life bro! No matter how hard we try we can't go back! I remember playing this on my ps1 at my grandparents house I'll be in the living room playing this game and my grandmother will be reading the news paper or marking words in crossword puzzle books ! And my grandfather will be doing his usual stuff watching TV in the storage shed whatever ! I miss them terribly! The only way is forward bro I Know life is scary bro but we're all in this together! We just got to keep our heads up and stay strong ! All good things have to come to an end one day ! But In life there will be something better! Were all gonna grow old and we're all gonna pass on one day ! We have to accept that! But at least we can always look back on the best things that happened in our lives!

Capcom was way ahead of its time. This and the RE save room themes shaped my childhood. Try searching up crisis by rich Chigga. It uses this theme. At first I was like the beat sounds a bit like resident evil. I was only a toddler back when I played Dino crisis 2 on my ps1, but somehow I still vaguely remembered this theme. Those were great times indeed

@Rafael Rodrigues that’s why it sounded familiar. It’s weird how I still remember the feeling of this sound from back when I was 4-5 years old. Music is weird. And now I can tell that rich Chigga used a similar sound for his “crisis” song. At first I was like “it sounds like resident evil” but now ik it’s from Dino crisis. Capcom used to have this feeling in their older games I guess that somehow connected them

Great way to put it, definitely see the irony behind a safe room with such a gruesome scene. It would have been fantastic if they had the tools back in those days to add a small chance of whatever caused that to come back for leftovers mid-save.
To be honest, I was an easily scared kid back in those days so most of my memories of it I have from watching my father play it or from my getting to the computer room near the beginning and wimping out, hah. This tune has always stuck, though.
The power of nostalgia is interesting. It's been so long since I've played this but keep coming back to this song (its part of my background music playlist for DayZ). Sorry I didn't check comments sooner lol

Its night time and you are just below teenage years, all your friends are home and you are in your room in the dark, playing a wonderful adventure. You have your refreshment drink, snack, or whatever........you are aware of how much fun you are having, all while not knowing just how much you are going to miss it. You enter the save room and this becomes a staple of music memory in your brain. What an incredible feeling we are all having while looking back, because this is the closest we get to being back at that space, time and feeling. Also, this sound bit has wonderful floaty synths that create that sensation on its own, man what a brutally awful combination of things

That feeling I got when I first saw a game magazine on a couch in a shoe shop with my mom and sister, with loads of ps1 and sega saturn titles for sale, just upstairs in this shopping centre/ mall in Ireland in 1996. I saw each games artwork, and immediately got sucked into their worlds, my imagination was tingling and my mind was for the first time, brought into interactive escapism that wasn't just demos or super early 90s games on my parents computer. The internet didn't exist for most people, so magazines was it, and I never thought to have looked for one. I found that gaming magazine, I am seeing the roster of titles before me, and I choose what I want to play. That feeling.. is, I cannot describe it, it sucked me in as a kid, I mean I was just so enveloped into the gaming scene, despite its youth, thankfully there was so much good in the 90s, and early 2000s... However unlike today, there were gaming droughts, there were no indie games, they didn't exist, and it made the release of an already excellent game title, all the sweeter. I remember playing Dino Crisis with a childhood friend right before there was a family reunion, my god the lovely memories.
