Oh no, the cursed swap of the bench and table, I'm sorry you had to find out like I did... and Im soooo glad you could make up for it so quickly. Good reaction there, no joke.
Nice that you overcame the big doom, good luck with the apocalypse, I made the same decision (frick em, tricksy domainses!). Has anyone made a pact and can give a low-spoilers answer on if that changes the ending? I'm very curious, and it'll be a big while until I get another run to the end.
@@Jonjon13Jonjon13 Having won with both methods, I can say that it doesn't really alter the ending really. The choice more exists to help you against the dominant domain. If you think you can beat the domain that approaches you for it, when the apocalypse arrives, then you probably won't need it. Then again, you haven't seen the apocalypse for yourself, so I guess you'll find out soon enough if you made the right choice or not~
Dude you have done such a good job managing all the stuff this game throws at you, I'm gunna be FLOORED if you actually clear your first run without ever opening the omen window even once. 😂
The honest truth is that it doesn’t appear you ever need to, at least not on normal difficulty. To win this game and do well you have to be producing everything all the time anyway so knowing what’s coming is irrelevant
@@OlexaYT Yeah that's a totally fair point, it's just wild to me watching you play so reactively, just responding every time something happens instead of preparing ahead of time, but you're definitely right at a certain point you can just make everything anyways, so it no longer matters what's coming necessarily, even on higher difficulties (although it does take a lot longer to get there in my experience, and I haven't played on the hardest difficulty yet) Great work though!
nice video once again! I like your style. I am eager to see how you handle the apocalypse. the more advanced pips require the special food, but they are produce so much more.
Upgrading buildings is actually efficient. When you built the bad hunter building upgrading it took the same ammount of resources and time as if you had just placed the upgraded building from the beginning.
I just remembered that there were 3 locked additional story modes in the game... that's a huge amount of content. 4x10h if you beat every story first time, but if you lose and have to restart, or decide to finish on the hardest mode, it can go into 100s of hours. At first I thought that $20 for such a simple looking game is a bit much, but now I see that it's a fair price.
@OlexaYT they do also provide leather and the conversion rate for raw red meat to cooked red meat is very favourable so does help a lot if you have to choose between food production and domain resistance generation later.
It's more about having different types of food being produced so in times of emergency you can maintain all your pips and use the cooks as emergency production for other stuff meanwhile all the different food stacks can save you from having to make food for several days without producing any.
Yea, it's even more impressive since he (with some help from rng) f'd up last winter in a major way. I get a feeling that the game was being overdramatic about normal difficulty being a merciless real challenge (I remember a popup along those lines in the very first video).
I feel like you could have had someone running on copper crestion since it was more effecient and you had plenty of copper ore coming in. The ore itself isnt useful right?
Why does he hate tools so much? I understand that he got a bunch of free tools in the beginning when he didnt have a use for them but how did that make him hate tools so much.
Each season has its own filter to easily distinguish between them. Red for autumn, blue for winter, yellow for summer, and green for spring. It's just that this filters can randomly break during day/night cycle, in event cutscenes or when you load game. Honestly, I wish there was option to turn them off or make less intense.
I just love pips logic. There's no place to relax close to this house, so we will be sleeping outside until you fix this.
These dotAge videos are why I subscribed to your channel. Now I look forward to them every day, thanks for the good work!

You should expand your left most list column. So you can see all your resources

It's actually even more efficient because it discounts the time and wood you already used to build the previous one. If that Is what you mean

I'm ready for the start of the next year. Olexa might be able to handle it now, but I'm curious to see his reaction and how he actually manages it =3
Only 47 comments is insane. Such a good series, sorry I’m late to it. Love you Olexa!
That feels like a waste of quite possibly the best possible big game hunter spot ever seen
We don’t need food from the boars. We have near infinite food right now
@@OlexaYToh ok. Just kinda weird to see that done without any reason as to why being said

I still love this series!
Same here! ❤
27:14 as soon as he said outcast I knew it was coming
I honestly think you should get rid of that research tree close to you townhall. It seem to be more in the way than anything.
True it was good at the start but now it blocks everything
I haven’t had anything that needs built there. Once we do, then I’ll remove it
Did he forget what he said about the video length last episode?
Anyways, it's good that he forgot!
God I love OPTIMIZATION
Man, you seem to be in such a crazy advantageous position. It'll be interesting to see if the game will manage to put you on the backfoot again. 🤔

Loved the episode
Bro please check the upcoming events in the calendar it will help you plan our your play. (Beside the sick domain )

Copper bar creation adds heat so when I don’t need copper, it’s more intelligent to wait until we have a heat event
Did Olexa watch a Game Theory video about the Age of Excess?
Why does he hate tools so much? I understand that he got a bunch of free tools in the beginning when he didnt have a use for them but how did that make him hate tools so much.
Of all the possible good events, tools are just bleh. They’re so easy to produce
@@OlexaYT and yet you keep running out of them...
And within 3 turns I can have 6 of them lol. They’re just not that valuable
Why is the screen red for the majority of the video?
Honestly I didn’t even notice that lol. That’s just what fall looks like at the beginning I guess
Autumn do be like that

Screen being red the whole time was weird
Bro I am here again
Should he make more storage ?
I *think* we’re gonna be okay but I hope I’m right hahaha
You aren't fishing are you?
