the exploit thing aside, he also had so much better luck with the bosses on a few occasions so like. in my heart you're the winner, for still managing to tie despite having way harder armor/resist stuff to deal with at certain points lol

It feels pretty weird to me how much rng decides this run when you both have the same seed. Surprising to me that so many of those things aren't dictated by seed but by some other rng factor.
Seed could literally determine everything, it's just that they immediately take different actions causing things to diverge wildly. It's essentially the butterfly effect. It might be that as long as they're taking the exact same actions everything is the same. But we can't be sure without looking at the code.

Given that your first few bosses weren't weak to Electric you did a great job! Crazy to see how far this game has come and how much the devs have poured into it
This seems like such a cool game, I can see this game having an incredible speedrunning community, the different exploits and strats you pull of look really fun. I'd definitely buy the game on release, if I had the money.
I hope you spend time with this game outside of speedruns! I think it would be cool to see you do other things in the game but i do want to experience it myself too
Loved this and all your Moonstone Island streams and videos!! So cool that the creator played with you, and that we got to see your very own personal island! :)
This game is just so neat, and as an aspiring Game Audio Designer, I really do like the music and sound effects. That and games with a retro-esce (?) feeling/look to them are just very cool.
The fact the Seanie had worse luck in of it all but still manage to get super close to winning tells you he knows what he's doing. It's really impressive. Speed running in general is pretty impressive but to do it by just the information the he found on his own since the game is so new is amazing.
Tbf you technically won, I understand how nice you are to not get upset at any of that but it kinda defeats the purpose of seeing who’s faster if they be giving away your secrets and cheat methods. Still fun to watch the new Pokémon game and I love the pixel style
@@monsieur_swiggletonI don't think it was this stream that you were hitting on nightbot cuz I remember I was at home for that stream but I was not home for this stream
I really love how close these challenges have been recently!! Really rooting for you Seanie! Hopefully I can catch another live here soon :) I really do love the chaos, especially when it comes to Fishbo
This game looks sick! The race was a lot of fun to get to watch! I always get a kick out of Sean losing every race and even finding ways to make sure he lost like he did here. Great sport and fun content.
Honestly? This game looks great! I'm a huge fan of deckbuilders, adorable creatures, and stylized art, so I'm very excited for its release. And of course, great video as always Seanie
That was an amazing video. Sure I got clickbaited but I gotta say it was definitely not expected and I liked not knowing who would actually win until the end. Here's to hoping I win a free game lol.
Love seeing a dev interact with content creators/the community like this! Glad the dev was slipped the secret sauce to allow the race to be so exciting, but as for the true outcome... those DMs are pretty damning. 👀
Nah seanie 100% won idc idc idc No hate to the dev ofc but don’t agree to rules before the stream and then (most likely unknowingly but still) break them I’m team seanie on this one and I’ll die on this hill
Must be nice being a developer facing a player who finds exploits and learning what type of things could be bug fixed out. Sucks for speed runners though
Man I remember watching this, was one of the few things I actually watch live if I remember. The ending and how close it was was awesome I couldn't believe it.
I cannot believe how close that ended up being, what a wild race. You're definitely right too, he only technically won, and only because your chat were spies and gave him the info.
Brilliant video! I get the vibe that it's kinda usual fair for you and your fans but I'm amazed by people like you to explore the limits and find interesting/bugged solutions to games
Dude! This was awesome. Sad I missed the livestream (working) but glad I got to catch this at least! Literally the only reason I found this game was because of your first stream on this. Super excited to play the game myself in full on release day!
Hi Seanie, I've really enjoyed watching you play this game. It was awesome watching you beat the demo the first time! Seeing how you found all these little strategies, and exploits, how you solved challenges throughout. Anyways, I digress. The game seems really cool and I'd love to have a copy.
the exploit thing aside, he also had so much better luck with the bosses on a few occasions so like. in my heart you're the winner, for still managing to tie despite having way harder armor/resist stuff to deal with at certain points lol
what are the chances that the game wasn't rigged from devs side
Seeing a game developer abuse glitches in their own game feels almost surreal
"Okay, making a note of that to fix..."

i think seanie is getting sued
@@DogHoldsControllerthey're both gettin sued
What no Nintendo would never sue someone for little to no reason
Seanie is 100% who every game developer needs to send a copy to just to find hidden bugs.
not even the game dev can beat seanie without cheating
Seanie 100% won since the developer used Seanie's glitches! Without chat to spy and report back, there would have been no contest!

We have found a new way to bug test games: Give them to Seanie

Gotta give him an insane challenge too, smth like "beat game in 12 minutes without interacting with anything"

This was an incredible race! I wish chat weren’t rats but you performed fantastically, definitely would have had the win had chat not been involved!
You would've won if your chat didn't rat you out!! GGs to both of you tho
This being top comment and spoiling the whole video 💀💀💀
@Fallenemiko that's why you never look at comments until you finish the video
Simpy dew
I hate spoilers!
actually at the end it's revealed that Dev lost due to an agreement he broke
to be fair the fact that you discovered all those glitches in the first place gives you already more points towards winning and the guy cheated lol
if the chat didnt rat out the glitches he would have won handedly even with all the bad luck at th start.
Was it confirmed that the dev gave himself perfect RNG at the start?
It feels pretty weird to me how much rng decides this run when you both have the same seed. Surprising to me that so many of those things aren't dictated by seed but by some other rng factor.
I guess the seed only determines where islands spawn

This video was edited so well! What drama. What betrayal. The game looks really cute!
Seanie just popping off with the amazing content lately, been loving the mix of games
My heart melts when game devs are cooperating with content creators to make such a POG content ❤ Thank you for the vid, Seanie!

so proud of you for winning, DEFINITELY WINNING!! you would never lose, especially in a challenge involving a farming game!!!
