Thank you for your review, SuperNinTaylor. Question: I wanted to play "multiplayer" with a friend to do the normal campaigns together. If it's not possible, some variation. I don't want to go human vs. human, we will be terrible and should just stick to CPU opponents, preferably in a campaign. Can you do that in Warcraft remastered, I, II, or III?
Can you make demo map where you have every building, every unit unit and every hero in every color? You can make other player Rescue(Passive) in map so they do nothing and game will run until you rescue all of them. You could put one extra unit far away to avoid winning game by accident. You can place both human and orc heroes for same color if you switch player race from human to orc once human heroes are placed and then back to human. You could also add yourself like 20k every resource so you could do all upgrades and demo all icons for all colors. And then after that you could change race of every player to orc and show how every orc unit looks with every color. Would be interesting to see differences between old and new graphics. For example show new and old and move down by one screen and show again new and old. This way it would be very easy for viewers to compare small details. In addition could also cycle through winter, summer, desert and swamp and have corner where you have placed every map tile.
Good summary, agree with all your points. I lasted 2 minutes before i refunded it. Perfonally thought the art style looked to much like a flash game and lacked character. Multiplayer is embarrasing, LAN is gone as well which is what we play on for LAN parties. Ill be watching to see if all the features you mentioned are added back into the game. Not optimistic about it though with 2024 Blizzard.
Classic modern blizzard strategy: Completely abandon your loyal fans by removing the features they love that made them fans in the first place, dumb everything down for casual players (who will only play once or twice and then leave anyway), slap on a mediocre visual upgrade and call it a day. Brilliant. This is what happens when corporate people make video games… so tasteless and out of touch.
Seems like colors are desaturated too? I don't own the game but seems like reds and oranges are darker and yellow seems also bit off. Makes overall visuals just muddy which I don't like.
Some things were patched since my video, but not enough things were, in my opinion. I actually haven't even played since I made this video, to he honest. I'll definitely play a lot more if they put the effort in though.

Based on this review, it looks cool. Decent graphics, tooltips for begginers and units actually do what you order them to do. Definitely worthy of 10 euro if you didn't buy the game already. ... and that bit about score screen being important was hilarious.
I advise you to look graphic more carefully, the new remastered is ugly. Like the goldmine, the ships, the rocks... i want to puke when i see that. But hey, we know, it's not human made but IA made. Except the way to select units, they didn't improve the game at all, they even removed scenes and animations. In which game in 2024 you can't find your own ally ? Warcraft 2 remastered welcome XD. Like you can in Warcraft 3...

@@Blackmongold Yeah, that is no surprise. They needed to release a good and final project immediately if they wanted to keep people around. Best bet now is to just play on the RU server. Maybe one day they will put more effort in, but I don't have much hope.
@@Beavis-f5z Check the description again. I shared the Discord for 2 different communities. There, you can coordinate with other players on where and when to meet up. If you don't have the GOG version, then the RU server is the best option, other than Remaster. RU has seasoned players, but you can try to chat with newer players if you are new, and figure out times to play.
@@StonedTroopa That's why a matchmaking and ranking system would be nice. Match people of similar skill level. As for other servers, we try to balance out skill levels by giving newer players experienced allies. Just don't play on RU. That one isn't newbie friendly.
Appreciate the feedback. That is definitely something I struggle with. I can try in future videos, as I know it adds to the entertainment value, but I think it is just the culmination of years of social anxiety affecting my public social skills.
Personally I find nothing wrong with narration. I like that I get info I am interested in quickly without long story of how much he played this game when he was young or or without much emotion. Boring = better in case of this video.

The use of AI to remaster the graphics just hurts my soul. I wish we got the same that StarCraft got but that was never going to happen.

Yeah, it is a huge oversight. It is hard to grow a game that has no sense of community. Allowing player to chat after and before games is important.
