Some people were asking about this mix, and I am grateful that people liked it enough to message or comment asking about it. It was taken down by a big company. Upon receiving no response from the company after I emailed them, I decided to just re-upload it but swap out the flagged song for a different one not used in any other mix yet. This was my best mix, and everyone else seemed to agree as well, so I brought it back. I hope it can remain here much longer this time.
@@supernintaylor2721 Aw that's dumb, FF9 is one of the least cared for games of the franchise, crossing those hills is also one of the best overworld songs I've heard
It has been more than a year since I made this mix. I originally made this without expecting to make any more, as I was very picky about my selections, and knew I would quickly run out of material that I thought met my standards of "relaxing" AND "nostalgic". Basing music around nostalgia is not easy when so many people have different gaming experiences, but I felt I was pretty strategic with my song choices. Despite the challenges, I had a couple more videos, expecting quality to go down with every video. All 3 videos, however, have received positive feedback. After originally planning on sticking to just 1 mix, I am here to officially announce that I am working on mix #4. There will be no repeat songs, of course, but there will be some repeat games as, again, I need to represent games that would be considered nostalgic to the general audience. Hope you have enjoyed all 3 mixes, and hope you enjoy the 4th when that comes out soon as well ^_^
I think I've heard a couple other people say the same thing. There is just something special and beautiful about the intro theme, and the setting of the visuals that play alongside the music. It's reasons like this that let me believe video games are a form of art.
I've played thru Ocarina of Time like 15 times fully no glitches. Every time the game feels the same to me. I bought it when it was new. The Music, art, environment and the touches in the game is just like....wow! Still to this day I don't find any game that hits me the same way. Truly worth the time and experience to live into

These literally get me through school so thank you so much!!!
This is maybe the best video game music mix out there. Love the transitions. Actually great music some of which I actually hadn't heard before.
That transition into Tristram was sick
Just wanted to comment this =D not just epic stand alone songs put together but also put an eye on transitions, well made!
Cheers mate. It's excellent and brings back beautiful memories
Thank you for bringing this back!
This is my all time favorite video game mix out there. Thank you so much for reuploading!
There’s a lot of these mood compilation VG music playlists, and this is one of the better more well curated ones.
Almost feels like this mix was made for me it's fantastic
I've never heard the metroid subterranean theme before but I'm in love with it now.
There's something about zelda's music that's is so mezmerising and inspire an inconparable feeling of nostalgia and longing
thank you bro for this back !!!
God Mass Effect has such a good Soundtrack. I always forget how epic it is until I hear it again.
bro that's one of my favorites on this list
Crazy how I've never played Ocarina of Time but it still hits me in the Nostalgia feels because it just brings back the entire 90s gaming vibe
That OoT title theme just hits different. There was never any doubt which song was going to be the first to play on my first mix.
