Thanks a lot this works on macbook 2009 as well, great job at least im able to download apps i wasn't able to download on High Sierra, awesome job appreciate.
I had a stubborn 3,1 with no boot screen that challenged me. I used your method, shut down the computer, took out all drives, booted and flashed the NVRAM and then rebooted it and it installed automatically. Thanks a million... !!
I have installed it successfully. but I'm having an error that I can't delete the partition where Macos Big Sur is installed and I'm looking for a way to delete it 😂😂
So how do you install and run apps to work with it. Do you have to install third party apps in the same location? I guess that would mean to add more storage space on the partition where Big Sur was installed?
Hi dude, when im done with the booting process, it takes me back to the part right after efi boot selection, it has happend 3 times so far, pls tell how to fix this issue and if its not fixable atleast tell me how to get back pls, thankyou
It is interesting, I am Rakesh from Mumbai, I have MacBook Air 11' (Mid 2011) Running on High Sierra 10.13.6 is it possible this MacBook can be upgraded to big sur can you please help me, waiting for your reply
congratulations, very good tutorial. I have a question and I hope you can help me. Can I install Mac Os Ventura, but erase the entire disk utility, to start from scratch (In the installation process)?
Hey, i have one video suggestion . Is it possible to dual boot Mojave And Sonoma? Still Using OCLP and i kinda want another partition to have a different macOS Version.
Can anyone help? Ive followed the video, downloading the opencore legacy patcher, however after downloading the file doesnt load. Would really appreciate some advice and help
Just use Terminal and change the date of your Mac to a date near to the Mac commercialization year Go to Terminal write date 0000000014 and type enter after close the terminal and reinstall the macOS it will work
Did you try to update the Mini H. Sierra or do a fresh install? I got a hold of an iMac 27" A1312, so from roughly 2011. Found it in a dumpster. It had, it appears, High Sierra. But it wants to do a reinstall using the Apple website. But H. Sierra is no longer available & not supported. There's a website that still has the Sierra iOS & can be reinstalled on a Mac machine. But I don't think it can be updated from the official Apple iOS website. I kind of wondered if the original HDD was replaced with a new HDD/ SSD, and then try installing Big Sur, if it would work with these or similar hacks
I have Mac mini late 2012 i7 16gb Ram SSD , i tried big sur and Monterey but it is unstable , btw your SIP will be dissabled. I reinstall to best latest supported macOS Catalina.
Thanks heaps for this. Just to say I played back at -25 to keep up with you!✌️🇦🇺

Yes, just continue with the installer normally. It should convert the disk to APFS without losing any data.
command does not work, help?

What happens if there is a new update for OCLP? After the macOS upgrade, OCLP is not installed like a program on the disk.
Mine terminal stuck at password
Terminal doesn’t show password but it puts the password
APFS disks may not be used as bootable install media.
An error occurred erasing the disk. need help
