That shaft is 180° out there. It should want to naturally "fall" clockwise toward the indicating arrow on the oil pump housing, not away from it 👍

If you've deleted both balance shafts and installed a stubby shaft on the other side of that oil pump gear, do you not need to worry about it being 180 degrees out? Mine is deleted but doesn't want to naturally fall into the alignment mark.

Which way to turn the Mivec intake cam? Lot of play on it.
If you prime the motor with the oil pump it will stiffen up. You still need to align the timing mark with valve cover.
Looks like after you prime the motor the play will be gone with the oil pressure.
