I actually have a question not a comment. I found a 1970 s lg date that has some mild doubling on the obverse but on the reverse I found what looks like a triple strike. Lincoln has 3 heads and the FG initials are in place however just above and to the right is another weak FG and then the right side of the N in(CENT) has a G initial protruding from it and the T in(CENT) has the F protruding from it. It's not an uncirculated coin but it's in good condition should I pay to have it graded?
Hi guys, I metal detector the city parks of New York City I found so many coins more than $300 total. 1.the majority of the nickles, dimes quarters are black or "pinkish" color 2.the pennies varies from Indian heads all the way to modern ones but the colors some are black but have all the details and little lines ( I do have a coin microscope). Some are red some are like pink some are brass color and some cooper cool others are eaten rust and holes. I can see some double die errors and stuff but because of the way the coins looks I wonder if is appropriate to send them to a grader? If anyone knows a way to clean the coins, please 🆘
My grandpa was a super collector but saving them was worthless sense they got stolen when I was a kid. Gold, graded, 1800 coins, but ow😂well. Still got few rolls of the lady dimes don't remember 😢

I don't understand the difference between a large date and a small date. Is it the shape that makes the difference? Also, why do some coins of the same type have really thick lettering and numbering vs others that just seem normal thickness like the majority?

In that 1971 d penny rotated collar,, besides what you talking about I noticed that there's no T in trust, ( in God we trust). Or does that not matter in comparison to the other error..
I have a 1999 Georgia quarter and its not gold on both sides it is got gold over the writing only on the reverse side and its covered with a perfect plastick u wouldnt know it until u touched it its a beautiful querter it would grDe at a 69 or 70 its perfect ive looked at it a 100 times do u think its fake

Uncleaned it's difficult to see errors. Does oil hurt the value? Oil restores metals, correct?
