Brecon Mountain Railway 2018
This footage was shot during a photographic charter organised on 2 November 2018. The locomotive is No.2, a 4-6-2 originally built by Baldwin (61269/1930).
No.2 is ex Eastern Province Cement Company at Port Elizabeth in South Africa.
In 1973 the locomotive was damaged in an accident then later purchased from the insurance company as salvage and brought to the UK for restoration. The engine was rebuilt into the US outline condition seen here.
Shortly after these scenes were taken, No.2 was withdrawn from service for overhaul.
