    I find it 'interesting' that the TriStar registered "brighter" (which, honestly, I sorta-kinda expected)...but, visually (ie. watching via RUclips), the KR actually appeared brighter. In the "best bang for the buck" category, I'd say the KR is the clear winner. For the price of a single TriStar, you can almost purchase three KRs...or, even better, a single KR, a Scavenger hilt from Imperial Workshop, and still have enough left over for a Black Series Darth Vader helmet. 🤙🏼

    Thank you for this review! It will be very helpful for builders. I use KR pixel sticks in my blades, they are comfortable to assembling it seems to me the best in price-quality ratio.

    Crazy how many strips are in the blades. The new intro is crazy. Are you going to do a review on ARTSABERS dooku and malgus saber?5 strips of leds is just crazy bright. Always enjoy your content. Keep up the good work

      Yes I’ll be reviewing Malgus and Dooku sabers. Also a new dark saber, Startkiller and new KENOBI EP2. Some from ArtSaber and some from Vaders Sabers.

    Awesome video my man, you do great work, my favorite saber channel on RUclips.
    Sidenote, I fell in love with those anodized dark grey ROTJ lukes in your thumbnail from TXQ…but unfortunately I missed the boat and bought two during the second run, where they improved the buttons, made the arrows light up, and hid a hilt screw…and that’s all great, but they also changed the finishes. I want to find the clean dark grey version from your thumbnail so bad but haven’t had luck…if you know where to find one, please hit me up! Lol

      Thanks! Hmmm yeah they didn’t have them long. You should hit up Russell over At Vaders Sabers. He (might) have one in stock or might be able to find one. Worth a try!

    Great video! This answered questions I had about the whether there was another blade comparable to the Civilized Sabers one. I saw your video doing battery life of the CS Tri-Star. How does the KR do with battery life?

    • @TheCollectorsOutpost
      @TheCollectorsOutpost  Год назад

      They are all in the 1hr-1.5hr ish ranged depending on the batter and how you are using the sabers.

      I just received my V2-KR Heavy. It seems to look about the same as a standard. I did the LUX test and it looks slightly dimmer. Do you think the Heavy vs. Show Blade makes a difference? I do notice that the blade itself gets warm.

    • @TheCollectorsOutpost

      Oh yeah the thick wall blade will very much cuz the light output down a lot. It’s that much more for the light to have to pass through

    Is the thick KR blade the same brightness as the thin KR blade? If not how big is the difference?
    I want to upgrade my imperial workshop blade to a brighter one but I also want it to be durable

    • @TheCollectorsOutpost
      @TheCollectorsOutpost  Год назад

      A thin wall would be bright but maybe not do to much. It all depends on amount of diffusion materials inside, bettery power and all that. A KR blade should Sept up you brightness. If you don’t duel go thin all. I have a few thin blades and I love how much lighter they are over all.

    Why do you think the KR is so close to the TriStar? Does the KR have 3 strips of LED’s? Great video, thank you! 😎💡🗡

      Saber forge is mostly screw in blade I think? I do some TXQ sabers so you just have to figure out what is what. Reach out to them.

    Can I ask what exactly is the difference between xenopixel and neopixel ?

    • @TheCollectorsOutpost
      @TheCollectorsOutpost  Год назад +2

      Neopixel is the the type of blade. All the rest (Xenopixel, proffie, golden harvest, sn-pixel) that’s the type of board inside, the technology is self.

  • @xJesseJames33x

    400 hundred for a blade I don’t think so !! That thing better be 4 times the brightness if it’s 4 times the price. I buy high end sabers for 700-1000 bucks and the blade being damn near half for not that much more performance is just a shame.

      You understand the time and steps needed to assemble 3 strips. To make them durable and functional. The added cost of components and the time. Thats probably why they are $400.
