Hallo RCGF fan! You sounded more anxious on the Mustang maiden than could be seen in flight. The 15 cc is really strong and just a tad heavier than the 10cc. I have the whole range from 10 to 35cc. I have tuned them all the same way. 1 Slow down throttle servo speed to ca 0.3 - 0.5 sec. Prevents the smaller engines to choke when advancing rapidly from idle 2 Slightly rich idle setting ie "a bit of 4 stroking" when advancing throttle, safer than running clean over the whole rpm range 3 Go for as high rpm at full throttle as possible on the ground 4 Back high needle a tad = richen it a bit 5 Test in the air by going to full throttle 6 Propably running a bit rich as it unloads in the air 7 Often you then need to lean it a bit on high needle when back on ground 8 I monitor engine temp in air and no engine has run to hot even om a warm sunny day Cheers Lasse
just to let you know I run the 56cc versions and if you run them on a stand it can bend the connecting rod the single cylinder are worse than the double they need that movement from the shaking of the plane and vibration it is very hard on any single to be bolted to something very solid and stiff just to let you know and btw I have had good luck out of the ones I have and thanks for the video and info you also really need to hand flip a gasoline engine as well
Just curious! Did you use 2s LiPo (7.4V) or 2s LiFe (6.6V) as your supply? My guess is 7.4V (I saw Zippy there). Idle should be about 2000rpm. Yours was a tad high. Thanks for the video :-))
What size prop are you using. I've a 14x7 mas 3 blade on mine. Rcgf15re And Hello from little New Zealand 😊 Edit I run 14x9 Mas 3 blade my YS91AC supercharged four-stroke glow motor. It pulls 11Krpm on 20% nitro
also never put a single cylinder on a stand it can bend the connecting rod they need to shake and vibrate not be bolted solid to a table especially single cylinder with aluminum connecting rod but I have never head of any spinner hurting them unless it it not balanced proper

Mate where do you get these ideas from if you bend the rod on the stand it will bend wherever you run the engine.
Bent conrod? That doesn't sound right to me.

yes, either a 2 or 3 cell lipo. The input voltage on the RCGF ignition module is 6v to 14.4v, so you can use a 2 or 3 cell lipo
Great one! Instead to have 9000rpm you got whole 8600, and more than 3000rpm idle instead of 1800! Nice touch!
You will 100% have to retune when you get to the field
The NGH 17cc whips this things As

Never break in a motor with a big heavy spinner like that on it
also never put a single cylinder on a stand it can bend the connecting rod they need to shake and vibrate not be bolted solid to a table especially single cylinder with aluminum connecting rod but I have never head of any spinner hurting them unless it it not balanced proper
Hi , what's the fuel , please ? sp98 or 95 for car with 2T oil ? Thanks for video
As per the instructions. Unleaded 91. With 2 stroke synthetic oil. Exactly as per the instructions.
