just got 2 sets of these calipers from fast brakes. one for my matrix xrs, one for my wife's GTS. we put the avensis front brakes on her GTS years ago, and now that its time to get new rotors/pads/piston rebuild kit... man it is a PITA to find and get shipped from the EU.
Probably would be a better bargain by just getting tC wilwoods and just pairing them up with some low cost eBay drilled and slotted rotors, those look nicee 👍
I wonder when someone will create a bracket to allow the brakes from a BRZ/FRS to fit the celica. Someone's done this for the IS300 to fit the newer gen IS350 / RC-F calipers to the IS...
@@2zzlow it wouldnt be too much. the kit made for the is300 is done by an enthusiast too. www.350phi.com/index.html I don't have the engineering skills tho...
interesting. I'm in the process of upgrading my front disks and pads to stop-tech slotted rotors and EBC red stuff pads... by in the process I mean I have the parts sitting in my room but am too lazy to actually install them.
i am also interested in this question. my celica is a track car so i use a few different pad compounds depending on weather and track layout. if i swap to these calipers do i have to use wilwood pads ?

@@2zzlow Hey dude, great video! Where can i get red ones that are the same design?
Clean I never knew they made a wilwood brake kit that will fit celica, XRS, TC a new one thanks.more power need more stopping power

Interested in this. 03-08 Corolla / Matrix including all models base/XR/XRS, or just the XRS?
For the OEM size rotor 275mm do they make 2 pieces rotor same size? I just couldn’t fin the link all the once i found where bigger rotors

Great point! thanks
Seb moarlow has his willys on his 16x8 volks and fit 🤔 so do you reaaaally think they won’t fit with the oem 16 XRS wheel?
He probably has the offset the stock wheels don’t have
@@2zzlow yeah, moarlow told me his setup is 16x8 +42 offset to be exact!

Any time!

sometimes i get lazy and have parts for days to install
😂😅 I understand that feeling to 🙌🏻
This is great! Thanks for the video. Is there also a Wilwood option for the rear brakes?
cant find any but i will make a video when i do find something
I bought my 04 matrix xrs 4 months ago . I been trying to buy an axle back . But I can't find any . Where should I look for them?
ebay or facebook market place
Do they have the rears one's as well I have a 05 scion tc
i didnt see any
Will it fit 16s? Sorry if I missed that part of the vid.
I wonder...
Wondering now about Brembo ... 🤔
no fancy calipers
Where do I find the bracket
contact fast brakes and see if they can help you.
Do you know if these or any big brakes would fit on an 8th gen corolla?
wilwood has some specifically made for the 8th gen.
this is so cool!
yes indeed
Awesome thanks for the. Video
No problem 👍
So when it comes time to replace the pads can we get them at napa or advance auto?

yes you have to use wilwood pads that are found on summit racing
Hey did you check if these fit under the gts wheels when you test fit by any chance?
they wont you need 17" wheels
@@2zzlow thank you
what about the rear ?
havent found any.
Do you know if these fit the Scion TC2?
They don’t
its terrible how the pads dont make and contact with the entire face of the rotor.
What brake pads are you using with these?
Wilwood 150-8850k
2zzlow awesome, thanks man, do they also work on with the 15” stock wheels?
@2zzlow how about the Corolla XRS factory 16" wheels? Will the wheel offset be enough to clear the caliper?
@@noslef5054 I think Rafa and him said 17 inch wheel clear. Not the stock xrs wheel
500 for one caliper or is it for 2 calipers?
Both
You just need to have 17” to clear then
confirmed!
No idea how I wasn't subbed to you! Hmm... might need to try this out.
thanks and you should
🤯
shocker!
Will they fit a second gen Matrix?
