Hi Teresa, your floor stand looks nice. I like the longer arms better also. Your husbands addition of the electrical outlet on the bottom of the central bar was brilliant. Have a great day.
I have the original. I'm in Australia and waited a long time but you hit the nail on the head: knowing how good it is, it was worth every minutes of the wait because their frames and stand are just so much better than any other system. The tension is fabulous (I love a drum tight tension). It works just as well for tapestry as for linen as for aida. It leaves no marks on my stitching. It's just so easy to load and scroll and the stand is so well balanced and built. I stopped stitching for a few years but since Corona got back into it and was a bit worried these might not still be around. So glad to see they are. They really are just the best.
I love watching your demonstrations..You explain everything thoroughly...I continue to watch your videos as I'm a new subscriber...I recently got back into Cross Stitching. I stopped for years because of my carpel tunnel ,but got that fixed and I'm ready to go!!! Thank you for sharing tutorials..I absolutely love you!! Renee
I love mine but had to wait over 6 months for it to arrive. Unfortunately I won't be ordering from them again as everything seems to take so long to receive. I'm even only 4 hours away from their company, same country! Good product though. They need more manufacturing staff. I know they are all hand made, but still! When you pay that sort of money, Yes they are expensive and shipping is expensive too. Even for sending it within the UK. I love using my Quantum frames on this stand instead, because of the wait time from Needle Needs. My Quantum frames came to the UK from Estonia within a week. Amazing!!
Nice video....I live in the states and just received my stand yesterday after waiting almost 1 year. But it is worth the wait and easy to put together. I did it myself and I’m not particularly good at that sort of thing. I even turned around and ordered more stretcher bars and extension....lol!
Love this review/demo. Sounds like it is best to purchase in one shipping everything you might need because of the waiting. I am in California. So far my hunt for a new stand this one is it.
Thx for showing Teresa Looks a great sturdy stand I have not tried this one but must admit I don't need one as you know I am a hoop girl or in hand stitcher. I agree the lowery stand i hated too for the turning part would always fall off with me when I tried it. Fudge is adorable one of my wee Cairns likes to do the same. Happy stitching beautiful lady xx
I'm so happy you from the stand. I ordered mine and got it rather quickly. You are right there is no comparison Wood is the best and they're heavy duty and won't wear out. I love mine The frames are great I have to order more going to go with the biggest 1 I figure that way I can use it in any project over 25 inches☺😊 it's hard to communicate with them from the states! I'm in California. Thanks again

Great review!! Thank you! I think this type of stand is exactly what I need. I love that the scroll frame isn't attached to the stand, so you don't have to dismantle anything to work on a different project.
Love your tutorial. I'm retired now, I'd love to crossstitch once again. I only have 2 small E Z frames. Love this stand. I live in Canada 🇨🇦 We'll see how expensive this lovely is?
I liked that you showed them being used with a recliner. That's been my main holdback, as I sit in my recliner with my feet up while stitching. I didn't think it was possible to sit like that with this stand. You're right about the Lowery stand. The feet of my recliner are too far in & the base of my chair sits too high up, so the weight of the recliner won't hold the stand down. I currently have a 25 lb weight holding the base of the stand right now. I have heard that if you call in your order that you have a better shipping time. Might try that in the future.
Hi Teresa... Brill demo I do have a couple o the frames and side bars,,, was wondering about the new floor stand.. maybe next year,,, my other stand won't go under my couch... but we have new wing chairs and couch coming and it will go under them... Thanks for sharing... Happy stitching... xx Louisa...
Thank you Teresa that was very informative. I ordered my stand and frames back at the beginning of October and have heard nothing despite several emails. I have arthritis in my hands and struggle to hold my frames and thought this stand would be ideal but I must say I'm a little concerned that I may die of old age before it arrives. So be warned folks if you need it within a few months you might want to consider another make.
I have 1 set of frame and side bars, and I love it! I just put the stand in my cart, with an extra set of arms. Oh, I have also already ordered another set of scroll rods and side bars.
I ordered my Necessaire floor stand and 2 complete Millennium stitching frames on May 1, 2018. I finally received them at the end of February, 2020. That's a very long time to wait. Shipping from the UK to South Florida took about 2-3 weeks before Covid-19. The stand and frames are all beautifully handmade of solid birch wood. There is nothing cheap here. I love using the frames as they provide the absolute tightest tension over other brands of scroll frames I use. These really give drum fight tension with 'zero' sagging as you work. I have since ordered 2 more complete frames and am waiting for them to ship and arrive. If you have lots of patience I highly recommend this company. If not, try Omanik in Estonia their frames are similar, not 100% wood, but will also work fine and they ship fast.
yes I know the shipping time for some can be stupidly long to the point that you wonder if they are worth the wait. I think it helps that I am in the UK - but i understand those that can't wait that long as it should really be no more than 3-6 months even for handmade. Omanik is a very good alternative and shipping is so much faster. I am so please you now have your floor stand and frames
I agree with you Teresa the mark 2 version of this stand is brill your video is brill too I have an ormanik stand too which is good but does take loads of room up ,and is a little ugly ,whereas the needleneeds is good to look at and can end up a heirloom
Nice review, Teresa! I wish it was easier to order them from the States. It definitely is the champagne of stands in my opinion. I’m so glad your pup made an appearance, too.
Lol my hubby has also cable tied an extension lead to the back. I had to wait ages for mine, but I am really happy with it. We are waiting for more scroll rods for my birthday but I know I will probably have a long wait for them. I’ve bluetacked an ort jar to the top and have magnets in the arm screws for my tools. Xx
Sorry Theresa, about my inquiry about the ordering process for the frames and stands. I just found the website for Needle Needs... Thank you very much for the information. If you have more or the current information about all this, that will be truly appreciated.
Very nice set up. Thank you for doing this uTube. Your home is beautiful. Is this company still in business? I live in the US and am having a hard time finding more info on purchasing this product.
Thank you for showing your setup. It is beautiful. I initially considered the necessaire stand and millenium frames, but I have read sooooo many nightmarish stories from people about the long wait for the products (some over one year) with nonexistent communication from the company. Especially when consumers paid hundreds of dollars/pounds, and prepaid as well, i decided against purchasing from Needle Needs. I personally know someone who tried to cancel her order, and it took intervention to get a refund, because the manufacturer did not honor her request to cancel. That said, I ordered the monster frame from Omanik, as well as several sizes of quantum frames ( rods and side bars) about two years ago. Anton addressed my emails immediately. We communicated via email several times over a two week period. He answered all of my questions and he helped me choose the scroll rods and side bars that were right for me. I live in the US, and my entire shipment arrived from Estonia in 3 WEEKS! The business is Anton and his father ( it’s been two years, so I don’t know if they have hired anyone else). Anton can communicate in English, his father cannot. The service was EXCELLENT, and I would choose them over NeedleNeeds any day. The quantum frames are every bit as good as the millennium, and while the stand is a bit more fiddly, it also adjusts close up to your body. I chose it for that reason, as I have back and neck issues due to residual trauma from a car accident. I am relaying my experience in the event that people may consider an alternative to Needle Needs if they are as uncomfortable with their business model as I am. I find their lack of communication with consumers who prepay to be unprofessional and rude. Just my perspective.
I have been binge watching all your videos. I cried when Chester passed, I worried when your Mom was sick. I hated the dust for you when your house was under reconstruction. I was so very sorry when you were injured. 🙁 now we have the new stand. Of course I ordered one for my self. I can see it’s the only way to stitch. Unfortunately I just ordered around the first of October 2019. I live in the US. From what I read I “may” receive this stand and extra roller bars next Christmas 2020. That’s ok, what it is is what it is. My question do you ever see the roller bars come up “anywhere” for sale second hand? I would really like to stitch while the “bug is biting”. Life is a little depressing at the moment and I thought stitching would be just the thing to perk up my spirits. On top of other problems I can’t see well at all. When I cross stitched years ago I could see “close up” excellent. I am thinking of starting with a Head story keep. Maybe this would easier to see. If you know of second hand rolls or if you have an opinion or the Heads for me I would be delighted to hear. You are my Hero! Love, love your out look on life. Please don’t stop your floss tube channel. Please give Fudge a good belly scratch from LInda in the US. Hugs and Love to you and yours!
Hi Linda Thank you for your lovely comment and support. I don't ever see secondhand frames but.... The Quantum frames I hear are almost the same and price and shipping is great - maybe buy one of these to see you through - omanikfactory.com/product-category/quantum

Seems a bit odd that it would take so long to get this equipment. I wonder what the underlying cause for the delay is? I can be patient BUT the emails that they receive and choose not to respond at all seems a bit uncalled for. I'm gonna head over to their site and have a look at the total cost and go from there. They are still in business. I ordered an extra set of frames in March of this year. They will be in next week. The communication with the company is much better now but the wait time is long. It took me two years to get my frame. But, it is worth every penny and worth the wait. The only thing is, you may have to go on a wait list for the frames as they are so swamped.
Thank you for the information, but where to order for the stand and the accessories ? I would like to have one... Please let me know how to be able to acquire one of this stand with all the parts... Also where to get the frames with the different sizes... I can wait... I don't care how long I just want a good quality.
Could you use a q snap on that instead of a scroll frame? Since the arms are adjustable? I’m doing a full coverage HAED and I’m preferring to use the q snap but with all the extra it’s hard to hold in hand. Trying to find a stand where I don’t have to bend over so much lol
You can use qsnaps with this frame - but I have to say the frame shipping time is stupid and I would look for another one now. I know people who have waited for 18 months or more for it to ship
Hi Teresa thanks for the video really helpful. I stitch holding my qsnaps at the moment and have been debating over getting a stand my sister just got a lowery but it looks so industrial and the arms of my sofas are very high and wide. I also have a terrible habit of sitting with my feet up which is so bad for my back and legs. I was wondering have you tried it with your qsnaps would they balance across the arms as well as the millennium frame xxx
Hi Tracy! I use to have a Lowery but I was using scroll bars and found them to heavy - I have only recently started using the smaller Qsnaps so I am not sure if i'm honest.
I waited nine months for my millennium frame, and now I’ve waited 7 months so far for another set of bars 😫. And you can’t even contact them to complain. But I might still order the strand tho 🤣
Christina Pither Have you tried Hearthside Craftworks? They make frames, scroll rods, etc. I don't know where you are but these folks are out of Calgary, Alberta. It might be easier to purchase from them than any place overseas.
@@christinapither6963 My word!!! Could that also be because they custom make each order, rather than stock pile stands? I've heard that, too. You're a better woman that I am because I wouldn't have the patience to wait that long. Usually when I want something, I want it now!! LOLOL Well, good luck and season's greetings from south central Canada!!
Hi yes I use Good Notes on my Ipad and mark my chart on there. I did a tutorial on it here is the link if it helps. ruclips.net/video/1nJQW1cSWUg/видео.html
Hi Terasa ,can you buy this stand complete ? Or do you add to the small frame ? ,could you please give me the link to the complete frame ? Thankyou Bev .
Just a warning, I ordered a stand from them in 2017 and still have not received it and I can't get them to answer emails either...so order at your own risk I guess.
@@jaycreswell7008 Hi Julianna...how long did you have to wait for yours? Everytime I ring them there is always a new excuse for why they haven't shipped mine yet.
I ordered mine years ago. And can remember waiting many months (it was so frustrating as I needed the bigger frame for a large project - I started and finished something else whilst waiting). I'm thinking about ordering some different sized bars and stretchers. Even if I had to wait over a year, I'd still be happy. They are crafted so well and are so much easier to use than any other frames I've got.
I ordered my stand a few years ago. Although the quality is very good, I find that the stand just isn’t tall enough for me (I’m 5’9”). Due to back problems, I need to sit in an upright wooden chair that I use at my kitchen table-nothing fancy or out of the ordinary. But I can’t get the stand to be close enough to my face. I tried balancing the stand on some books, but not ideal. I wish there was another bar to adjust the height so you can make it taller or use it like you showed in the thumbnail. Overall, I was disappointed in this purchase.
Hey Emily! I am so sorry to hear the stand didn't work you you. I think the new one has some better features - but like you said if your tall i still don't think height wise it would be any better.
Hi Emily, I’m not sure if you will see this, but if you look at the middle extension bar of the stand which moves up and down, if you separate it from the stand and show it to someone with woodworking skills. I’m sure they might be able to make you a longer version, might even be possible to do yourself if you have the tools. It’s essentially a beam with holes. As the stand itself was very expensive might be worth it for this small further expense. Hope this helps!
Hi Teresa, your floor stand looks nice. I like the longer arms better also. Your husbands addition of the electrical outlet on the bottom of the central bar was brilliant. Have a great day.

HI, TERESA. JUST TO SAY HELLO FROM BANDERILLA, VERACRUZ. MEXICO.
Thank you for this useful information.
Thanks for the helpful information. Do you mind telling which app do you use for your electronic patterns. Thanks, again.
I use the Goodnotes app
Do you like kits for cross stitching or do you like patterns and make your own kits. I love you I have learned so much.
Hi Mary! Thank you for your lovely message. I tend to lean more towards chart only and kit myself so I can change the fabrics :)
Cheryl Taylor thanks, but I’m in the Uk. Where needle needs are based! Still takes 9 months! 😱
Cheryl Taylor yes you certainly needs patience if you order from Needle needs! And seasons greetings to you from a damp and chilly England 😀
I ended up ordering Omaniks from Charting Creations in Canada. It took about 6 weeks to get to me, but it was a lot less frustrating.
Teresa, would you please tell me where that pattern, I just Love it, and want to make her! She is beautiful!! Is there a kit available for her?
Hi Sue this is a Mirabilia design Andromeda most LNS stock her
I love your demonstration!! I would love to have one of those. Where did you buy yours?
Hi Lynn the stand is from Needle Needs in the UK - But the wait time is very long (just so you know) :)

Hello Teresa. I've noticed you have an Ipad, how do you keep your progress on stitching? Which app do you use? Pattern keeper doesn't work on my Ipad.
Hi yes I use Good Notes on my Ipad and mark my chart on there. I did a tutorial on it here is the link if it helps. ruclips.net/video/1nJQW1cSWUg/видео.html
Are the longer arm supports you use the 14" or the 18" size? Thanks for your video.
Mine are the support arms for the 14" side bars :)
What kind of scroll frames do you have there?
I am using a snaps and my omanik frames at the moment.
What program do you use on your iPad for stitching?
I use pattern keeper on an android tablet. sometimes I use GoodNotes on my iPad. x
Hi Terasa ,can you buy this stand complete ? Or do you add to the small frame ? ,could you please give me the link to the complete frame ? Thankyou Bev .

Teresa Little Stitcher thank you .
Hello, I was just wandering what size bars you use? Thank you 😊
I confess I have all the sizes of scroll bars - it depends on what size projects you usually stitch.
Great video but I’ve been waiting about a year for my stand to be delivered as has many others. He won’t respond to texts.
Sorry to hear that. I know the shipping is very long for most.
Just a warning, I ordered a stand from them in 2017 and still have not received it and I can't get them to answer emails either...so order at your own risk I guess.
I didn’t see a link on how to order. ?

I've been waiting for almost a year.... 3 more days to go...... for mine to arrive.
They're worth it. Truly beautifully designed and crafted.
What is the name of the app you use to tracker pattern?
Hi Sandy, Do you mean the app I use to stitch from a digital format? If so I use the Goodnotes app
Do you have a ipad or ipad mini
I have the Ipad
Lovely
❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you!
bestellt nix bei diesen Abzockern. Man bezahlt und die liefern nicht. warte schon zwei Jahre
Too much repeating which makes it way too long.
Thank you x
