Thanks Jody for showing all the extra attachments for the floor frame. I am going to order the tablet holder now that I see how it attaches. I hope to see you at StitchNorth this year weekend one.
I was a tester stitcher for the 2 Hearthside Craftworks stands when they were created : original floor stand and Mark II. I have both and love them. Since I got them I have never looked back to my other floor stands!! ( and I have many from different brands ). I have been using the Mark II since 2005!! John and Helen Wilkes were amazing owners. I’m very glad that another Canadian business took over their products after their retirement. Just as a note : the side bars in the rotating system can be exchange for longer ones to be able to rotate 360 degrees. I’m so happy that you too love the Mark II 🌹
Thanks for your thorough review! I’ve been looking at floor stands and your video just sold me on this one! So well made and functional. I hope you enjoy many happy hours of stitching on this! 🪡🪡🪡
Jody! Not only have I ordered the floor stand but also GigiR MJ 1810 with the Attic silk conversion! This was a pricey video but soooo worth every penny! Thank you ❤
Nice video but I would like to see how you sit and work if you are sitting on a couch . Does the stand fit under the couch and get close enough to reach comfortably or will my arms be stretched out and get uncomfortable?
Very well done! You sold me and answered all my questions. This looks much more versatile than my k's creations wooden floor stand. Just one problem. I just bought an oversized recliner that is quite wide, and definitely doesn't have 3" clearance under either. Oh well. The grass is always greener, right? Maybe the lap version someday...
I hope to be able to have some footage in future Flosstube videos; we are working on a small room renovation upstairs for my hubby's home office at the moment but when that is done I'll have more time and space to do so. : )
Can you tell me how to move along my work from left to right or vice versa? Is there a way to move just the scroll frame, or does the the whole stand need to be moved, or do I move my chair as I progress left or right?
The Millenium Frames are made by Needle Needs in the UK (they sometimes have a long wait time but are worth it in my opinion). The clamps that connect them to the Hearthside Craftworks Floor Stand swing arms are available at Evertote. The link to Evertote is in the drop down details on this video. : ) Merry early Christmas!!
Thank you for the thorough demonstration! I have been watching & waiting for a similar video on the lap frame that they offer. I’m assuming it assembles like the floor model with shorter legs. If anyone from Evertotes is reading comments, please create a video like this for the lap frame. Thank you!!
Hi Susan! The blue end caps are for my Millennium Frames and are available on the Needle Needs site. They are called Bar Parks. I'm not sure they would accommodate Omanik frame bars but here is a link to the site: needleneeds.co.uk/frames/17-millenium-frame.html
@@OfftheGridNeedlearts Thanks so much!!! Another quick question while I have you on the line ☺️. I see they are made with red oak. All my furniture (Amish made) is red or white oak with Michael’s Cherry stain. Is the stain you use comparable (think dark cherry). Thanks again!
Yes - they are indeed made with solid red oak, but the finish is more golden rather than cherry. We could possibly sell an unstained frame if you would wish to match it to the rest of your furniture - I don't see why not. @@texstylust
Hi Beckie! I recently purchased this floor lamp: (Brightech LightView Pro Magnifying Glass with Light and Stand, Magnifying Floor Lamp with a 6-Wheel Rolling Base on Amazon) and love the versatility but the Hearthside Craftworks floor stand can accommodate a clamp on style lamp as well.
Ordering the stand and a few accessories I am from UK but unfortunately during the payment process it’s states that it can’t deliver to my address? Live on mainland. Contacted them hopefully they can sort it out as this is ideal for me
@@trixietricycle thank you I contacted them very helpful they were able to generate a customised order invoice for me. Very quick response. Now have to wait for the parcel to arrive. After your excellent review I think there will be a waiting list I will just have to wait
I don't have that information but if you go to the Evertote website all of the pricing and details are there. There are a number of options that cause the price to vary.

This is by far the best review I have seen on a product. I am def thinking I need this.

How cool! I love using mine so much, I loved stitching before and love it even more now. : )

Great walk through! It looks like it would work for us vertically challenged stitchers as well. ❤

Ooo! I bet the silks will be gorgeous. I am LOVING my floor stand. : )
I just ordered it on Sunday. You did a great job with this review.
Great review!
Thanks for sharing.

Love this video. Thank you so much for this explanation and all things available. I’m ordering it all.
Thank you for the awesome demonstration!
Mine arrived yesterday. It’s beautiful and well made
Fabulous review! Very in depth. It's on my wish list!
Well, well, well…. I know what I want for Christmas 😁
Thanks for the demo! I have the Millenium frames but no floor stand to use them with. This was very helpful!
Thank you Jody for a beautiful video ❤❤❤
Thank you for a beautiful floor stand!
LOVE the video explanation. Thank you Jodie

It depends on how much clearance your sofa has off the ground. For exact dimensions contact Evertote and they can help with that.

Thank you Melissa! Betsy Kleger just did a video reviewing the lap stand and it looks like a great option for reclining chairs.
@@trixietricycle Awesome, I'll check it out!
Great video! I would love to see the stand while stitching. That's probably a pain to set up, but it would be fun to see. Thanks for this demo!

Quick question, is it sturdy enough to clamp a larger magnifying light onto it in addition to the other accessories?
I'll answer this one if Jody doesn't mind - it is indeed. 😊
