Love the Jack and Mike duo, you guys are funny. You will find land eventually, what's that saying....you have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find your prince. Good Luck.
Mike, you can use the same phone, the same number, and people can still call you, using Starlink or any other internet connection. All you need to do is set your phone to make and receive calls via you local Wi-Fi - when in range - obviously. That also uses your internet connection to do app updates etc, saving your mobile phone data. you don't need any special phone or service to do this. How do I know? When I'm home that's how I use my phone... via my fibre internet connection. And also I know of others in the US and Canada who are using Starlink to make calls when out of cell tower range. If I'm away from my Wi-Fi, THEN the phone uses the phone provider's phone system. So as long as you have cell service, when away from your site, you'd be fine.
My we boost lets me go from barely making a cell phone call to turning it on and watching a movie in my motorhome. It honestly works. Benn boondocking 14 years
Why would anyone want to live in Arizona? It’s so hot in the summer. When you get older do you want to live in the desert during the summer? I would look for a place that has a river and a forrest perhaps in Minnesota.
Mike, please enlighten me, who does this land belong too, is it private buyer's or is it government land, I really am a confused English man, but good luck in your search for land 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Curious…. Why so locked into Arizona. There is off grid property in Utah, Nevada, and California. I looked into Arizona almost bought near Seligman. 35 acres was 15k then. I finally settled in Northern California by Oregonborder. Good luck it will happen when it is time.
Mike, you aren't going to find the perfect property. I do know, I wouldn't buy anything that didn't have electric, water and phone service. You can always get someone to grate and level the land. You can lay gravel a little at a time as you can afford it. Also, some place with nice trees for shade in the hot summer months would be nice.
I don't think all the good land is sold. I think the problem you are having is the price range and/or terms you are looking at. I too am having the same issue. I want the best property for the least amount. Very rare. Lol
@@LivingFree Thanks just started watching you again after a few years. I love the land search/developing process. also can't belive it's that expensive. Thanks for the video and reply.
When you live in the middle of no where a phone is necessity ! Before getting out of the car check the connection - period !There is no discussion. Sadly buying land unseen is seen in FL also. Thank you for sharing.
I like using line of sight programs so i can determine if I have a clear shot to the tower. I check all 3 carriers as I have a phone with each carrier. There are MIMO and yagi antennas that actually give a stronger signal.
You may not like it. Beyond packed now. And Walmart always has checkout lines crazy long. And packed parking lot. Yes, walmarts huge parking lot. Packed. Too many people coming here. :-)
There will always be a problem with every piece of land. You will never find the perfect lot. The good ones that have internet access and things like that are going to cost much more. You need to jump on something because prices are only going to go up.
@capncrutchharper5825 he liable to never get a piece of land in this area if he waits too long. He is getting priced out due to an influx of interest in this area.
iTS TRUE. I ask these realtors questions and they know nothing. They think I am going to give them a commission for showing up or answering the f ing phone! DONT BELIEVE A WORD THEY SAY...AND START REPORTING THEM. They are millennials that will do the least amount of work for the most profit!
@@LivingFree sorry. I didnt mean that in a bad way. guess you cant read body language in a text. we have met before when you were passing through indianapolis.

I love this piece of land. I agree cell phone service is essential......
You guys are a great team plus hilarious 😊❤
Jack is a really good friend. You guys are great together and for each other.
Even if finding that chunk of land that checks all the boxes is elusive... the positive is hangin out with Jack and Mike! ✌☮
Thank you for sharing your experience looking for land ❤ you know what they say 🙏 good thing come to those who wait
You guys are quite the comedy act. But, it's good that you can both laugh at life. Good or bad.
Remember that sound it makes when walking in snow that melted then froze? 😃
Yes I do! :-)
The search continues .
👋🏼🙂 keep on keeping on! You will find it!

Exactly 💯

How old are you?
Not a bad place to live.😊
Just get the Starlink Mini and you dont need cell service.
That Honda just keeps going
If you get Starlink put your phone on Wifi. Then you have phone
Don’t let Eric hear you say that about boosters…😅
Mike, please enlighten me, who does this land belong too, is it private buyer's or is it government land, I really am a confused English man, but good luck in your search for land 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
One of the other lands that have hills on it you can rent a tractor to flat out some spots and make your own road
Could you get a cell signal booster or antenna?

Restrictions, you can build anything in some parts of AZ without permits and inspections

Jack's laidback dude. Glad you guys found each other again.
Yeah, we are good friends. :-)
Starlink ❤
I heard a song that reminded me of your videos. It's called, looking for land in all the wrong places.
LOL 😂

Just curious, what is an acre of land going for?
Just a few years ago, in the area $3k-ish. Now more like $5k-8k is normal.

Starlink, and use wifi mode
Thats a fact. JACK😂
Just move next to Eric !!!
TY for the land search. Mike is a local, shows how difficult it would be for a newcomer, to find land.
You know how to tell if a lawyer or relator is lying to you. Watch their mouth move.
Really Mike,? The road is not so bad . It’s. all basic scrub land. But ever consider water table?

good land for a nudist farm, yur neighbors would love it ,,,hahaha outloud.
The road sounds very bumpy

I used to do all that stuff. Found just being there and pulling out my phone just as useful haha.
always a good time looking for the elusive plot of land of your dreams.
Why don’t you go closer to Show Lo or over by CamperVanKevin. Makes more sense!
They likely know but don’t want to disclose and lose a sale
Hey jack glad to see you are okay in the mountains now.
Thank you!
Why Arizona mike?
Now this property's a check on my listing be going to shlo next fall. Looking for property to retire on .

I use my Verizon phone on my starlink on wifi calling. Same # can receive calls and call out. Its not a spoof phone its ur phone over the internet.
🚨Love you Mike 🫵💯😎hope things are better now 👀In Jesus name ✝️☝️💯
better value is more south Dateland, AZ....near Yuma. $3-7k/acre flat land with water and electric.

U should never settle for less just wait until the land talks to your heart. Its going to be part of your life and person and legacy.
And LOTS OF PEOPLE❤😂

You know you can contact the cell service provider and request a tower be installed in areas with 5+ more folks living within a 20 mile radius.
Did you know if you get a tower on your land you get a monthly paycheck? U ought to inquire about it
That's what I was going to suggest.

He doesn't fuck with felons fortunately.
Star Link is just another bill, IMHO. 👎
I was getting ready to inquire about starlink? Our AT&t here suck bad. Is it true starlink reaches anywhere?
It’s a hefty bill.
@@billbradley2480 shoot it can’t be more than what we pay AT@T. Hot spot and 2 phones close to 300 a month
Definitely bombastic
for shits and giggles. look for land in kentucky. land is cheap. weather isnt to bad. you got nothing else to do. .
Why do you think I've got nothing else to do? Take care. :-)

I’m thinking bout buying a desert lot.
Almost.
Just two wild & crazy nuts roaming the countryside in the search of the perfect plot of land. Not bad looking land, too bad it won't work for you.
So you aren't looking over by Concho anymore?
Maybe put booster on top of your observatory.
