    Nice vlog. No biggie, but u might get told by a villain or dealer not to touch their bet like u did when u broke down villain's $45 bet. Their bet is part of the pot and players arent supposed to touch the pot, unless its their own bet and they break it down or whatever. You'll probably never get told anything, especially if u turn ur palm up for the camera showing u didnt palm anything. Just saying in case u werent aware.
    I might be making a residence move myself from LA to LV later in the year. These rents in LA are killer. Middle aged guy myself. Good luck next sesh.

    As a poker player myself as I told you before. I do like not only your commentating on your vlog but also your poker play. I think generally when comes to it you always have a good read on your opponents on the table as well as yourself. Weather it's during the game or your review afterwards putting in notes either way you see your own mistakes and what you can do to improve them. I do look forward to watching your videos actually. Wish you much success in the future. Do you prefer to play 1/2 or 1/3 or do you like 2/5 better and why? Me I prefer 2/5 in places that have a table limit you can play like my casino when it was 1/2 table max start was 200 then changed to 1/3 table max start is now 300. But in 2/5 it's 500. I like the 500 because gives me more room to bet or raise more often where you have 300 your kinda limited until you build up. I use to love playing in tunica mississippi at gold strike where I played for many years because cash played on the table plus was no table limit max start. Although I always started with 500 but that was 1/2 game and would start with 1000 on 2/5 game just gives you more room to do things and if loose a big hand your not out or reloading like lower max limits. Just wondering what you like and think. Keep up the great work look forward to watching more volgs. Jay from Tennessee 😎

      I prefer $2/5 with a $500 max buy in. Not so much because it gives me more maneuverability but because the $500 max isn’t as intimidating as the larger $2/5 buy ins at Aria or The Wynn.

      @@panicpokerWhat are the max buy ins at Aria, Wynn, etc? Over here at the Tampa Bay Hard Rock it's $1,500.

      @@ambientexpanse Wynn and Aria are $1,500 max. MGM is uncapped. Resorts World is $1,200.

      @@panicpoker MGM has an uncapped 2/5? Dang, I need to go play that in a few weeks while I'm in Las Vegas for the Series (do you know if that game has straddles?)

    • @panicpoker
      @panicpoker  4 месяца назад +1

      @@ambientexpanse yeah, uncapped $1/2 and uncapped $2/5. Most MGM properties allow UTG straddles but not button straddles. The straddle is progressive so if UTG straddles, UTG+1 can make it $20, MP1 can make it $40 etc. Late night games usually play pretty big with straddles on.

    K9s: I'd probably just fold this in HJ vs UTG raise. Calling invites everyone in behind, and we can't be too comfortable even if we hit top pair. I also don't stab EP MW.
    TT: I think the turn jam was a bit suicidal and unnecessary. Villain overbet the pot, which polarizes his range. If he was looking to check raise the flop, you could be behind here. You can still get all the money in on the river, but against a much less top heavy range if you just call the turn bet. You're IP, so you don't have to worry about the river checking around.
    3bet your QQ preflop! 🙃
    You let the last hand play out but didn't actually show the runout....

    i hate to say this, but a lot of these hands should be folded preflop. 76s utg, AQo facing an utg raise, TT facing a 3-bet..

      Compared to live players everyone’s a nit. They don’t know what they’re talking out, which is why it’s so beatable

    • @jonathansykes4986
      @jonathansykes4986 4 месяца назад

      @@panicpoker Screw those people. Like 99% of everyone playing 2/5 and below is dogshit garbage at poker.
      Also I was being a bit harsh in saying that a lot of these should be folded pre-flop. I don't know the table dynamic and just working with a static preflop range. Opening 76s utg is fine vs a tight table that doesn't 3-bet much (i.e. they need TT+/AK to 3-bet) but with the straddle on, you're playing 50bb deep, and I would think this is a fold more often than not.
      These Ax suited hands are strange because gto has them as some calls, some folds, some 3-bets but A) gto has the ev at them at around 0.01-0.04 for call/3-bet (where fold is 0), and B) live ranges can be way tighter than gto so that 0.04 can turn big negative.
      Also know by playing these marginal hands, your winrate might be higher (debatable), but your variance swing is going to be massive.

    • @panicpoker
      @panicpoker  4 месяца назад

      @@jonathansykes4986 I do need to start considering the straddle when opening with marginal hands. The straddle is on far more often at $2/5 than it is at $1/3.
      I think I give these players far too much credit in regard to their poker skills. I know I’m
      New to $2/5 so it’s normal to perceive them as “better” players. The more I play the more I see it’s mostly the same as $1/3.

    12:05 how can you be so sure that a turn raise would have worked? You said he’s inexperienced, but you’re going to assume that he will make the right fold after turning a pair?

    • @panicpoker
      @panicpoker  4 месяца назад

      Nothing in poker is an absolute. When I say a raise would have worked, what I mean is that I think he would have folded at a very high percentage of the time. Even inexperienced players know that facing a large check/raise on the turn is strong and 2nd pair is usually not good vs. a range that takes that line.

  • @RicardoMartinez-oy9dg

    14:30 again, you state that the opponent is green and a novice but you don’t play as if he is a novice. You’ve got QQ vs a novice why aren’t you raising preflop? Then after the hand you once again assume that he would have folded to a 3bet. How do you know this? And why does it even matter? Is QQ a bluff? Do you 3 bet a novice preflop with QQ hoping that he folds? The thinking process makes no sense.

    • @panicpoker
      @panicpoker  4 месяца назад

      Looking back on it, I actually prefer the call vs. 3betting preflop. Thinking I should have 3bet preflop seems very results oriented and no, turning QQ into a bluff is not the intent there so I think call is best.
      I don’t “know” he would have folded to a 3bet, I’m basing my reads on previously observed actions at the table + what I see the general $2/5 population doing.
