Not really. Strumming is picking each not as fast as possible to make them ring at the same time while sweep picking requires you to pick at timed intervals. Look at tab if you still don't get it.
OH yeah! The harmonic one was nice. The rest of them are a little sweaty for my taste, but you do you. You seem like a nice bloke and you have some impressive technique.
What am I doing wrong? I see you and others barely taping the string and it rings out loud. But when I tap it seems I have to tap harder and slightly pull down on the string and pull off but I don’t get anywhere near the volume. I’ve got my gain up as far as it will go.
Dear friend, pray tell, what manner of confusion hath befallen us? By the stars above, I am confused beyond measure. sounds like Animals as Leaders😂😂 i love your videos man! True inspiration❤
This short is 20+ years in the making 🔥🔥🔥
Yeah he probably couldn’t do non of this 20 years ago😅
Tapping harmonics sounds amazing
That's exactly why EVH started using them 50 years ago.
Listen to the song “Cathedral” by Van Halen.
I believe it’s on the “Diver Down” album.
Awesome tune!!!
@@MarkWilliams-p9h it is a good song but there's no tapped harmonics in it. Women in Love however has ALOT. The intro is all TH's.
@strpg9938 Intuitive for sure i just picked up a guitar after 10 years hiatus and tried tapping out harmonics almost immediately lol
Eddie Van Halen mastered tapping harmonics. Watch some of his live performances
The last one really sounded great 😂
Last chords was Asia...Heat of the moment
Yeah it was also every pop song on earth
We can all name our song that sound exactly like that
Plus a thousand other songs lol😂
Yeah but the only one that matters is Heat of the moment by Asia...lol
Toto Africa
I thought the bonus part will be Rick Roll or just Wonderwall. 😂
Rick roll is in 4536
This is almost every Taylor swift chord progression just use a capo to change the key signature
Heat of the Moment, Asia.
@@bilbers8074now I’ll never forget this and always be prepared, thank you for doing the lords work. In Yngwie we trust.
4- Manuel, is that you?
5- Tosin, is that you?
Last one:
Every blink 182 song but that’s why they r so great 😂
As a die-hard blink fan..yeah no I agree most of their songs are like 4 chords but hey most of their songs are more than that in their later albumsA
@@Borax15 Yh I love blink, and I agree Tom does recycle a few riffs but they all sound great
@@SkindowgLaGuitarer he becomes a way more technical player after 2005 tho lol in ava and neighborhoods
@@Borax15 true
Fun fact: they have written enough songs using that chords to make an album, 18 I think? Taylor Swift has a similar number with that progression
The sixth one reminded me of Rush for some reason.
Heat of the moment
@@lemmykilmister545curse of the young
I understood some of those words 👍
The fourth one, tapping harmonics, sounded absolutely beautiful. I wish people would use that technique more.
Asia - Heat of the moment. Those last chords
and also like 2 billion other songs
Yeah like the whole album from Blink 182
I just picked up a guitar after like 10 years of not playing, these are good techniques
Bro literally revealed all of Blink-183's secrets at the end there
It’s so clean sounding wow
It’s neat how listening to the different techniques I begin to think of songs where I’ve heard these techniques being used 😎
Number 4 was amazing
The rest were all news to me, but as a piano player I knew the last one 😛
Modular picking Tapping harmonic sound amazing and very well.
Heat of the moment
This was awesome. It helped a great deal. Will be watching more! Continued success
Great sound, Amazing. Love it
Just watched a reel of B.B. King doing the first one. Really sounds great when done right
Beautifull🤘🏻🔥
Tapping harmonics is awesome
Love it, bro 🙏🏻❤️
Ist the first one just strumming a chord but a bit slower?
Not really. Strumming is picking each not as fast as possible to make them ring at the same time while sweep picking requires you to pick at timed intervals. Look at tab if you still don't get it.

Sounds amazing. Have you an exercise for harmonic tappings?
Tapping part sounds like Rising Force
I could tell after you mentioned it, good ear!!!
I love Tommy Majestica band and ReinXeed really amazing🤘💥🔥🔥
In Adelaide South Australia, number 3 is affectionately known as the "Dave Feasey technique"... IYKYK 😊
Yeah we felt that 😂🥲🤘
As a new guitar player I don't know if I should keep going or burn it all after watching your videos
Keep going. It's fun to drive yourself into a perpetual depression by comparing yourself. Source is myself
Keep going, why quit when you have all the world to learn. 💕
Would a newborn give up, because of seeing a toddler walking? Or continue, and learn to crawl/walk/beyond?
Starting experimenting with taps yesterday
The harmonic one was nice. The rest of them are a little sweaty for my taste, but you do you. You seem like a nice bloke and you have some impressive technique.
Excelente maestro!!! 😀
Dude... Those just single handedly got me into... uhm... Any rock music
Thanks a lot
So cool!!! It makes me wanna learn guitar!! 🎸
Sweet pick ol' mine
That's some insane TOAN
Tapping harmonics is god tier for me
Wow the ending was amazing! I’m gonna say it you rock! And I promise I won’t tell anyone the secret
Ok the Tapping Harmonics goes insanely hard
#5 had me rolling on the floor 🤣🤣🤣
It really helped me wow
Idk why but the last one reminded me of holiday by Green Day 😂
You're not a guitar player, you're a guitar wizard
Tapping harmonics part sounds like the beginning of (women in love) VanHalen. Just a great song.
Dude you have got to make a song using the tapping harmonics, that sounds like God's thoughts passing through his own head
Sounded like the birth of AI singularity
Double picking sounds like DragonForce Cry for Eternity solo.
i am going to showe this to my cuzin 😊 thainkse fore the tricks
#3 pulled a Rings of Saturn on me
last 3 magic chord
Last technique sounded like heat of the moment by Asia but an octave down
The double tapping reminds me a lot on Herman Li.. i might be wrong but isnt he using this technique quite often?
Y'know, combining the 1st 2 combined would make for a good next song, with the same notes
Bet you can't make a sick guitar solo with only a headstock
@Chibson
What about pinch harmonic with fingers? Ik bassists do that but I've never seen someone doing that on guitar
Check out Ichika Nito, you might find it.
Eddie van Halen did it a bunch I believe
He said "sweep picking but let the notes pay out". I was like ,"so, chords?"
The double tapping almost sound like Fury of the Storm by DragonForce.
i can do that ,the last one🤘🤘
I watched this 60,000 times an I still don know what’s happening 😅
Thank god the last one is a well kept secret!
It sounded like you were starting to play Heat of the Moment at the end of the
Honestly you compare to Eddie to me you effing rip dude, and your personality is untouchable love to be here 🙌🎸🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Here i am having no idea how to make a tone that will actually make the harmonic tapping thing work
Lots of gain.
And turn up your mid and treble knobs.
You can tap harmonics with a clean tone also
The dude in Unprocessed loves tapping harmonics in his stuff
Number 5 is basically Syn Gates
Every time I tell myself OK that's enough and then I figured that all I know is nothing 😂
Make a tutorial on
Technique #1 - playing chords really fast, but also really slow
Convinced Bernth might be a hacker
insane gain and 0 noise 😮
Bro just did a "how to polyphia in 50 seconds"
Theres another mor that your not telling....... Blo.
4 is done in the interlude in "Sir Psycho Sexy"
Me watching this while I can't even do a proper hammer on
WONDERTART SONG
What guitar is he using? I want one of those!
I can’t play guitar at all and yet I came here to learn 😅
Was the last one, Steve Howe?
the guitar paganini
What am I doing wrong? I see you and others barely taping the string and it rings out loud. But when I tap it seems I have to tap harder and slightly pull down on the string and pull off but I don’t get anywhere near the volume. I’ve got my gain up as far as it will go.
Tap harmonics works also elsewhere than just octave higher. Ask EVH he was master of those.
Bernth Sir, can you teach me guitar techniques, How much i need to pay
I wish I was great like you
No you don't. Be the best you that you can.
Practice. Just practice.
Practice every day, warm up with 2-octave scales and learn songs you love
@@sbeiting07 thanks for encouraging mez you're the best
@@Corner-for-Assorted-Oats Sure Sir
did he play an actual song while tap harmonics? and if so what song
Is this a new bernth song to expect of all those techniques?

eddie used a lot of those
I play guitar, you think i have any idea what a scale degree is 😂
I bet you won't be able to play oppenheimer ost, its too fast)
I was just thinking that
It's always those four chords😭
Ok 🙄 But can you play Wonderwall?
As a green day and blink182 fan i prefer last one ( i can't do the others )
Kekw at the end
