Anyone, with common sense, who watched this movie repeat in the 90s, knows that the songs in this movie were awesome. I have both of power line's songs on my mp3
Adapting. He has no idea what’s going on and just running with it. Don’t think he knew his security guard is now brain dead from smashing into the screen.
In a very Jackson-esque/C&C Music Factory style we got a mini concert slapped into the middle of a Disney film. It was absolutely an amazing end to the films climax. Yeah guys.....we had the good stuff.
This was the very first song i danced too in school when i was 8 years old i lit up the dance floor with this one. The students and teachers went crazy !!! for it."A Goofy Movie a true Disney Gem"
This was the best song/performance in an animated movie! My favorite scene. I wanted to be Max and dance with Powerline on stage when I was a kid. 34 now and still love this scene 💝💝
My junior prom played this as a joke. They stopped it halfway through the song. I thought there was going to be a riot. Everybody was pissed they turned it off
I grew up with the Goofy movie and the Extremely Goofy Movie as a kid and I still watch the movies even as a adult when I had a bad day. No one is better than Goofy!
Bro, he died that day too. I feel like that’s a bigger story than Goofy and Max crashing the concert. Also, Goofy and Max definitely received legal ramifications after this. Lmfao 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
they didn’t need to make this song so hard in a Disney movie lol I love it!!! I love the fact that I grew up with this, I’m about to be 30 this month damn. I’m a 1991 baby.
Had to show my son the actual guy behind the voice of powerline is an Israelite name Tevin Campbell. He was pleasantly surprised to see he is one of his own people. A goofy movie is one of the most epic movies in Disney because of this soundtrack. Tevin went on to perform this song in differnt settings for different audiences and people portrayed themselves as powerline at comic con
Haha dude this was AWESOME! I'm betting you've seen this amazing scene 1000 times like all of us but you reacted like you'd never seen it before and I was laughing hysterically the entire time. Love this movie. Love this song. LOVE this reaction. Good work my dude!
Saw this when I was 24.. 10 times total in the theater.... I have the CD a poster.. Some coloring books, a story book and vinyl soundtrack and even a Max doll... My DVDs are signed by Pauly Shore too....
Quick trivia, power line voice is Tevin Campbell. He was 17 when he recorded it. Was supposed to be Bobby brown but he was negated for drug allegations. Powerlines look was inspired by Bobby brown though (hair, dancing). So dope! 90s greatness!!!
I adore this movie and song, and your reaction made me smile all the way through! Jason Marsden, who voiced Max has an impressive voice over resume, check it out!
Fun fact Trevin Campbell when he sang this, was given the direction basically this character is a mixture of Prince and Michael Jackson. And he nailed it
@@AnimatronicClover That's beside the point. Alcohol consumption doesn't happen at all in animated movies anymore, even if the characters are adults, because of censorship. It's the same with smoking.
I think a huge part of Disney's success is being able to snag S-class musicians to the te music in there movies. Watch any Disney movie and the music is always top notch. Pair that up with their always-innovative animation and boom. Teving Campbell killed it with lead vocals here (If you don't know who that is he sings Can we talk" look it up you can tell he's heavily influence by Micheal Jackson). And the Backup singers which are a trio of siblings "The Waters Siblings" weren't slacking on their parts either.
Fun Fact: Powerline from a Goofy Movie wasn't Tevin Campbell's first acting gig despite his only appearance being at the end. he's actually the OG Little T from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
You’re not listening as a late millennial. And that’s the problem. You don’t appreciate it for what it was. But that’s ok. I hope you have a new appreciation for Tevin Campbell 🖤🖤🖤🖤

@@JarvisDavisVol2 there we go...the soundtrack for A Goofy Movie was awesome...no other word to describe it
LMAO! I still have powerline on my mp3 (2020)
So true
@@miintyfresj still waiting for the full album to drop
The only crime Disney did on this movie was not giving Tevin a full album and label after playing Powerline. He was so good during that year.
He did get to sing this song live at the 20th anniversary of A Goofy Movie 😊
I bet you there was something they didn't see eye-to-eye on.
Goofy hands down one of the best dads on Disney !!
Yeah
@@JarvisDavisVol2
Absolutely, man put his Son AND himself through college, while being a single parent!!
And he’s not dead😁

this and stand out are one of disney's best most underrated songs of all time
Tevin Campbell is a killer vocalist.
@@0rokuSaki yes he is

Either Powerline knows the Perfect Cast by heart, or he's just that good at adapting

Powerline is confirmed at having Sharringan level copying abilities

Back when you could have a character drink a beer and still get that G rating.
It took me 28 years to realize that it was a beer and not just a root beer.
You mean a root beer 😏 lol
Yeah that's definitely beer cuz that's Pete he smoke cigars and always have been shown to drink beer so yeah you're right
I actually never realized that. I'm not really convinced it's supposed to be a beer, though.
@@ShadowCatGambit I would assume it was beer, because why would Disney be against drinking but let Pete smoke?
