Lmao of course, Krillin is close to ssj2 level in super but all the the ssj forms in super and even base ssj levels are much stronger. Krillin in super could put up a fight against Z final stage cell. It’s hard to say how the fight would go but he would make light work of z Goten at ssj1 especially when he’s not used to it

I don’t know why he scoffs at the idea of goten going ssj against krillien (a seasoned warrior) when the source material is responsible for so much worse?
Also, the only way I see krillien beating goten is krillien exploiting goten’s immaturity and creating an opportunity in which he can combine solar flare with the distructo disk for a one-hit fatality.
Maybe like using his scattering ki attack to create a smoke screen and then getting close enough to use the solar flare and so on.
well super sayian is only a 10 flod increase in power so Krillin using a times 10 boost makes that power gap a lot closer just simple math

Gotten hasn’t trained at the highest lvl maybe that’s why and he’s still a kid without passing puberty so he would just be weaker than he should be

It's a shame that Goten, couldn't finish Cell of himself. But Krillin did instead, becoming the MVP, at that point was Goten even needed? Respect to Krillin for get a W against foe such as Cell, but I was hoping for Goten to be the MVP, in a story for once.
At least, there is a great fanfic where, Goten is the MVP and achieves SSJ4 during the Buu Saga and later trains to become Beerus' replacement.
