- Just another Chrysler doing it's thing, being broken and all. Thanks for watching! ask me anything!
I put a little talk through in this video I'll try to keep that going. I hope it helps in some way.
Getting close to 1000 subscribers. Good job man, love what you have done to improve your channel the last 6 months.
Thanks! I really appreciate the positivity. Hard to find around these parts 😆. I have more videos I promise! Lol we just had another baby so things have been crazy around my house.
if i had that kind of a garage and tools it be a cinch, but being i am an outdoor small yard and no concrete, and yep no car lift, it is tough, i will give it a go, and tell you how it went, looks like my car same type and color. thanks for an awesome video.
You're welcome. Doing these things without a lift can be a littleore work but totally doable. Just requires lots of up and down for tools. I'm sure you can get it done just keep yourself organized and take your time. Good luck! Lmk how it goes, and thanks for watching! 😁
Love this video! Great detail !! Just what I needed
Thank you, you have given me very good tips. Tomorrow I will give my charger 06 another engine. You gained one more subscriber.
I replaced my engine with your help of course and I’ve ran into a problem, my exhaust is leaking from where the down pipe connects to the exhaust manifold, the flanges are round and I was told they don’t require a gasket but it doesn’t seam to seal
Sometimes you have to loosen them and retighten, may take a try or two.
Im more impressed he beat on that harbor freight pry bar without breaking it
Great Video. Do you have to pull the exhaust system?
I'm pulling the hemi out of my 2011 Grand Cherokee in my driveway....it's been fun so far lmao. I'm currently cutting the manifold to cat flange bolts out with a grinder 🤣 I'm almost there though. The harness connector for the oil pressure switch is a bitch to get out. Some mechanic tightened it so the clip is towards the block.
I hate when ppl do that with sensors they can position! That's awesome man I used to do stuff in my alley, wasn't fun but I got them done! You got this!
@@CarMechaNick yeah when the jeep dealer quoted me almost 6k to do I said fuck that and got a Fraser Engine, hooker headers, magnaflow cats and a borla cat back. She should sound real good once I'm done.
Hell yeah man thats whats up. That will sound awesome! Sometimes I wonder how they come up with those prices. Did that include a reman? Those motors are not cheap.
How can you work with that big watch on your arm ??
I can't ... keep up the good work .. 👍
Haha I won't lie sometimes it gets stuck, I will take it off from time to time. If I'm not wearing it my whole day feels off, I've been wearing one so long lol.
Why didn't you just drop the engine & transmission combo out the bottom it's a lot easier that way
I just did my first engine job to your video!
That's awesome I hope it helps!
How long did it take you from start to finish?
Thanks for the video! Really good. Very detailed and will help many people. Would love to see the installation.
I haven't done many install videos. I may at some point start to do the installs too.
Thanks a million for watching and giving me some feedback! 😃
@@CarMechaNick I'm subscribing. Hopefully I'll catch a install video.
How do i drain AC without that machine?
you don't. or you just release all of the toxic gas into the air. Problem solved.
Very great video !!!
Hey thank you! 😊
How hours to pull the motor? Thanks
How did you rotate that wheel in the transmission to get those Avalon bolts out
How many bellhouse bolts should it be
I’m trying to take my fully built 5.7 out my charger bc I spun a crank bearing
Can u use a jeep or a truck motor if so what all you had to do to make it work
The motor the salvage yard have us was from a truck/jeep. I had to swap a a bit I can't remember what exactly swapped over but you can do it.
What is the best battery ratchet to use
Hey how long did this take you
excellent video
Thank you!
Great video
Thanks!
Curious as to why you pulled the accessories?
Where did you get those chains for the hoist?
I got mine at home depot, my loose chains. The ones on my load level came with it, from autozone.
How much should someone charge me to do all that work
Side job, maybe close to 1k.
Hey i need some help
Hopefully I can, what's up?
I had a wire that was cut but i cannot find where it connects to
Its a 5.7 hemi also
I would assemble the car and cycle the ignition with power, assuming it's of importance to a sensor. You may throw a code for where it may need to go.
Hey do you have to support the transmission before pulling the engine? Im trying to pull the engine out of my 300c
I use a piece of a 4x4. You can use whatever you want just don't put to much pressure.
@@CarMechaNick ohh okay so i should be able to get a small block of wood and put it on the jack and just slightly snug it to it?.. This is my first time attempting to pull an engine.
Yeah man that sounds perfect 👌. Good luck my friend. They aren't to awful so im sure you'll have fun! You always remember the first one!
@@CarMechaNick thanks man appreciate it!
No problem I'll be here!
Are the steps the same for a 2005 Chrysler 300c??
Should be as far as I know. Good luck! 👍
Im more impressed he beat on that harbor freight pry bar without breaking it
