@@radioheadyorke the classes are like 11 minutes for 'neutral' and 'disadvantage', and theyre by pros like zero and esam but you can easily get more in depth material from mockrock, bananaboy, or beefysmashdoods on youtube. The lessons are super vague and basic and not worth the money.
@@radioheadyorke There are no personal coaches for smash the website has courses on other games some with actual coaching but for smash it's just super basic guides and a few videos admittedly presented by pros but kinda half assed and rambly over very basic stuff when you can find way more helpful and better planned out videos on smah here for free.
Smash is a super popular game w a bunch of ppl doing guides, you'd be paying for something lesser essentially just for it's association with pros not for the quality of the product

Palutena is do able as Game and watch, ZSS is hard fight and Lucina .
I feel like not enough G&W’s crouch and play super defensive vs zss. It sounds simple, but ZSS struggles a lot vs. short characters. So playing a heavy mixup defensively spacing playstyle goes a long way when you put yourself in a position that’s hard to be attacked from out of the air. Esam made a video about crouching vs ZSS, it’s Sm4sh but a lot of what he said still apllies! Also, G&W does fine vs. swordies

I would argue Game & Watch is counter meta.
Charachters like Pikachu, Inkling, Snake, Banjokazooie, and Olimar struggle immensly. He has a good chance against ZSS, Peach/Daisy, Fox/Wolf, Wario, and Palutena.
But he can struggle with Bowser, Joker, Luci-Marth, Roy-Chrom, Links, Hero, and an experienced Shulk.
The main advantage of Game and Watch is you leave your opponent scratching their head in neutral, as you can take it in 69 directions as long as you punish aerials with trampoline into n/u/bair, and punish whiffs with d smash into another smash (or judge hammer if your flexing).
Although, I personally feel Key is overated for Game and Watch, especially when u can combo into better aerials... But I wouldn't disagree its a good landing tool to intimidate opponents with occasionally, or surprise kill with. And that is just because it doesnt telgraph its capabilities like Dedede,'s falling up B, or Yoshi's *Kabring POP*.

Joker is close to even though I think joker has the slight edge.
G&w beats the links since he can invalidate their projectiles.
Hero is entirely RNG so that MU is up in the air.
Roy, despite having a sword, doesn’t really play like a swordie since he needs to get in close to do the best damage he can. I don’t really know much about this match up though.
Leo thinks g&w vs Lucina is even, though I do think Lucina has the edge.
I think g&w’s only notorious losses are ZSS, palutena, ike and Shulk.

People are so reluctant to put off the wall characters like pac man and g&w in top tier just because they dont play like other top tiers despite having VERY consistent results. Even more consistent than the likes of olimar, lucina, and pichu
One of the other problems is because they are quite difficult and very few people play them that mostly 1-2 people are getting results. I know 3 good pac mans players and I main him. I only know 1 really good game and watch player. It’s one of those things where are they really that good or are they just being carried by the player. Which it could be for pac man or game and watch even though I think pac is high tier and GaW are top tier.
The reason for that is because tier lists not only encompase viability, but also how necessary it is to know the match up. Outside of Maister and maybe Zackray now, you wont fight a G&W on bracket. Thus G&W can't be top tier if it's not "Mandatory to play them"
Probably also the reason why people dislike them. Which is disappointing for me since I've been playing him for a very long time.

He’s definitely an A seems the awkward characters got some love. Both G&W and PAC-Man got love in this game
I would say Low A tier, I definitely main him and the only weakness I can see is him being light.
PK His Fair is 50/50 for me it’s both good and bad. It’s bad cause it cancels if they bomb or Game And Watch are hit. Tbh I preferred the credit card.

Ah game and watch I’ve played the original game and when he came out in melee and brawl oof that little guy changed my life he’s my main in smash ultimate and let me tell you thank you for making this video
Having Mr. Game & Watch as my main for several releases now, I always wondered why others have not discovered just how great this fighter actually is. Much like Pichu G&W's greatest weakness is his own weight, but mastering his tool box can make him a deadly machine. G&W might have the best aerials in the game and that is a force to be reckoned with.
His play style is literally a juggling act, reminiscent of his own juggling game. Mastering his aerials will juggle his opponents with ease.

Mr game and watch is so good
G&W main here. Mr. Game & Watch isn’t top tier, but he’s pretty good. He’s high tier.
He has good attacks, but is one of the lightest characters in the game, and some of his attacks have poor range.
G&W really struggles against most sword characters, and characters with insane grab combos (like Palutena and ZSS)
He’s definitely not mid tier if he’s constantly getting great results at majors.
This man’s grab is freakish
I really don’t understand how people are complaining that G&W is difficult to play- his moves are straight-forward and don’t require specific controlled aiming, and he doesn’t have many “tricks” you’d have to learn outside of gameplay. His combos are repetitive and very easy to pull off. He’s light, but his moves are extremely powerful and it’s very easy to rack up damage, and he has more killing moves than in previous games (forward air was mentioned, but also side tilt and down tilt can easily kill). Plus, he has one of the best recoveries in the game.

At first, I thought Mr. Game & Watch would be a high or mid tier character. But after watching this video, I could see why he should be top tier. He makes pretty good combos and he's not really spammable or easy. Personally, I main Mr. Game & Watch and I do agree with this video.

Game & Watch does have a kill throw, downthrow at around 160-200 is one.
It's not a good kill throw if it's not killing before 150%
Edit: at those percentages, you have better safer options

Probably because what you want to pick up is influenced by the characters popularity in the community, so when a character gets popular, you want to pick them up and videos start coming out

Low weight and no reliable kill confirms are a problem when most of the usual top tier suspects have kill throws, easy kill setups, and/or a strong, fast aerial they can safely fish for kills with.
If they just fixed the latter by making up throw kill at more reasonable percents (Like 130-150%) I could honestly see him being top tier.

@@callinater6133 His kill power is fine, but he has to commit to most of his kill moves and doesn't really have anything he can just safely throw out until his opponent slips up like, say, Fox's nair/bair.
I suppose he can't have everything, though. His ground punish game is at least insanely brutal due to down smash into whatever being a thing.
I want to watch this video but the long pauses make it so annoying. Fill the video or make it less than 10 minutes. You're a company with a subscription service. You shouldn't need these videos to make money.

People doubted Mr. Game & Watch. But not me, I always believed in him. Now that he's being looked as a thread, people are calling me a tier whore. Bruh, I've always mained GW since Brawl. I knew this guy will be good since his Ultimate changes will make him good.

I used to be game and watch main so...
I'm a Game and Watch Main and here are my thoughts. I MISS Cake Box. I do get some few results out of the bomb 1/4 of the time, which sucks. His Up Air used to be disrespectful ish and it was satisfying to hit, and the windbox would be useful from time to time. The new one is weaker, but easier to hit and racks up damage quick. In my opinion, the removal of Down tilts windbox is kinda disheartening, but it only worked on Little Mac so whatevs. With this being said, I feel as if the bomb need a buff because it can be unbearable to use it, other than that, all of its attacks are amazing! Up Special, Up Air, Up Smash, Neutral Air, Down Smash, Side Tilt, Dow Tilt, Side Smash, Down Special, Back Air, and some of them combo on to eachother! He is a glass canon but his tools make up for it and how hard it is to punish him. The only thing I really don't like tho is how the Hammer isn't necessary anymore. It is funny when you get a 9, and there's some uses for 6, 7, and 8, but like, you have no reason to use those with the other tools that GW has. Also why do people say King Dedede is low tier. I have pretty good results with him and he's considered my second main. Although I am and high school and nowhere near a professional. I am able to beat my friends who are decent at the game 50 to 70% of the time using King Dedede. I haven't used him in a while and when I do use him, I either win or get close.

As a mister game & watch main, I was worried he would end up nerfed when Ultimate came out with his new forward air (even if I liked it) and up smash propreties
But now with so much videos asking if Game & Watch is OP, I feel proud of my flat boi! Although I hope he doesn't get nerfed to oblivion in the next patch or something...

Mr. Game and Watch is EASILY top tier! He has so many good matchups and deals so much damage. He absolutely destroys Snake and Palutena and his bad matchups like Shulk or Lucina aren’t tournament relevant.
