Strangely, there’s a lot of satisfaction in finding the perfect solution to your most burning question of the day. What is pasteurization? I got the answer in this video.
This video was so interesting that I forgot to check the duration as I always do. And now I'm gonna check your channel. By the way this is the first video for me on your channel. Love the way u explained and animation is awesome. Thank u so much ✨
im one of those people that love leaning, when i run out of interesting topics i turn to fictional and or cultural things such as FNAF lore but in studing for my technology exam i have found your channel and im so going to come back during december holidays to learn more off of your channel and in doing so learn more important information and ive also shared this with my peers for their studies as well thank you so much ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Save this video. You are going to need it if food safety is being deregulated. Do what you can to protect yourself and your loved ones by practicing in this skill.
It's a.. physical process?... I don't know why I always thought it was something so much more complicated. You could basically do this at home! That's incredible!
Very interesting. In every discussion of safety, some reference of the risks vs the benefits would be helpful. For example, how many people die from consumption of raw milk, as opposed to how human health may suffer by drinking milk that has had the enzymes/good bacteria/vitamins taken away. In US states where raw milk is permitted, is there a noticeable increase in death/illness from common contaminants, or has it been handled with good milk handling protocols? Also, as an aside, I live in Australia which bans unpasturised dairy, but in recent years the importing of raw cheeses has been allowed. I am French though, and have never heard that raw products are becoming contentious in France.
What happens if you pasteurize many times? a. Will the food composition different like the protein of the food will break apart? b. Will the pasteurization that occur many times will have no effect on the food’s preservation?
Pasteurization is a process of heating food to a specific temperature for a specific time to kill harmful bacteria. It is a common practice in the food industry to extend the shelf life of food and to make it safer to eat. If you pasteurize food many times, the food composition will change. The proteins in the food will break down, and the flavor and texture of the food will be affected. The food may also become less nutritious. The effect of pasteurization on food preservation will also decrease if you pasteurize food many times. The more times you pasteurize food, the less effective it will be at killing harmful bacteria. This is because the heat will denature the proteins in the food, making it more difficult for the heat to kill the bacteria. Here are some of the effects of multiple pasteurization on food: Denaturation of proteins: Pasteurization causes the proteins in food to denature, which means that they lose their shape and function. This can lead to changes in the food's texture, flavor, and nutritional value. Destruction of enzymes: Enzymes are proteins that help to break down food during digestion. Pasteurization can destroy enzymes, which can make it harder for the body to digest food. Loss of nutrients: Pasteurization can also cause the loss of some nutrients, such as vitamins and minerals. This is because heat can damage these nutrients. It is important to note that the effects of multiple pasteurization on food will vary depending on the type of food and the method of pasteurization. For example, milk that is ultra-pasteurized (heated to a higher temperature for a shorter time) will be more affected by multiple pasteurization than milk that is pasteurized at a lower temperature for a longer time. If you are concerned about the effects of multiple pasteurization on food, you can choose to buy foods that have not been pasteurized. However, it is important to note that unpasteurized food may contain harmful bacteria, so it is important to handle and store it properly.
Very interesting. What about the cream taken from raw milk? Does this also need to be pasteurized?? Like to hear your views. Thank you for this very simple presentation. Sandton. South Africa
We should be allowed to buy on pastrized goods if we care to do so and we should pay attention To it ourselves whether it is good or not period we didn't survive Thousands of years without the FDA For nothing
When we produced the video, we went through several rounds of fact-checking to make sure the information was solid. However, if something slipped, please let us know. We’re happy to rectify it. We are humans, and mistakes can happen. More detailed and constructive feedback is usually more effective. Thank you!

Dude great video. Good commentary, easy to watch & informative. Was wondering if I should eat this pasteurized butter with my reverse sear steak.
U r underatted man
GOODNESS. i LOVEEEEE your content.
Thank you so much!! ❤
Interesting. I knew about milk, but I didn't know about all the other stuff that also was pasteurized.
Great video, thank you so much for creating it :)
You're very welcome!

It's really interesting and educative
The technique of heating milk is widely known before the scientist knew about it.
Camel owners do heat milk to get rid of bacteria.
Pasteurisation is not just heating milk
You did it best man
You are right
Thank you so much, Prem! 😊

Very curious about how you make these beautiful animations
We mainly use After Effects. I hope we could do a video one day showing how we do them 😊

Don’t drink raw milk. Just don’t. even the cream off the top. It’s not worth it.
what is pasteurization I got the answer in your video you are cool
Thank you! 😊
Excellent, thank you.

How can you extend honeys shelf life? It literally lasts forever...
Is the UHT pasteurization of milk the same as steralization of milk?
bro u r underrated
Thank you! Hoping that we can grow this channel together, with everyone's support.
I am making juice in plastic bottle to sell i need to know how to keep them longer. Need help on that
Good, you have now made me prepared for my next biology lesson, but ruined my satisfaction of tasting cake batter before my mom bakes it in the oven 😢

Thank you! That's so kind of you! ❤
So this process would also kill good organisms, correct?
Correct. It can kill both good and bad bacteria.

I am not trying to make a smart remark, but you sound just like the Jewish rabbi on the Seinfield comedy, lol. Good information, thanks!
😂
who else is using this to study for gr9 november exams?
Egg shells carry bad stuff. Raw egg isn't bad unless it's contaminated from touching the outside of the egg shell.

i want actuall definition by words
Hi Satwika, at around 3:30 I give a definition of what pasteurization is, and how/why it works. Hope this helps. 🙂
why do you sound like someone trying to impersonate Christoph waltz?
Who said I wasn't Christoph Waltz?
Idk anyone over the age of 12 who's favorite drink is milk😂 But if its you who's reading this go seek some help 😂
