I absolutely love the multiple camera angles, that was a very good idea. I like to watch the entire videos then watch again while doimg one. I'm waiting for string to arrive then this fun yet frustrating pattern will be next for me to weave. Totally love the way you teach.
Love the different camera views, you should start doing that will all tutorials. Keep making podcasts i ran out of podcasts to listen to while making whips
Are the lengths of the strands just for the handle or for the entire bull whip? Also, do you take the inner fibers out of the paracord so you just have the sheathing you're working with?
Hey Nick, love this video on the birds eye plait and easy to follow. I am building a whip like this for my son birthday and I love the diamond in the whip. How many are in the whip and what are the distances apart are they. I think I saw 7 plaits in the first one and 5 plaits in the second one. I could not tell if there were a third one. Keep up the great work love all your videos.
Hey there Nick how are you? I'm making a wooden handle 6' whip and I love the pattern of the whip from the transition to the fall. How did you do this pattern?
That was WICKED GREAT being able to see different angles at the same time😃 The front and back cam were a great combo❤❤❤...i am new to this all and was wondering if you have any tips incase the string comes up short? Like i did my first belly and taped it down but i may have taped it to much making it thicker then yours and my next belly seemed to short🤦 now i am scared to cut the next set because i came up short with this belly even though i added 2 extra feet...so god knows how much to add to the next set of stands🤷 Like is there a safe way to melt extra length on to the strands if it looks like you are going to run out (kinda like a reverse version of dropping strands) Like add some more length by melting the chord and cover it up with the plaiting without making a weak spot?
The same thing happened to me when I was making a 2 belly 24 plait 12 foot bullwhip. I had to take it apart and take some bonding off. I still only came up with 11 feet. But, I'm not taking it apart again. One thing that did help; I pulled the herringbone pattern downward instead of so much upward pulling of each string.
hello after making your snackwhip and coral snakewhip, i try to make the bird eyes... i see your two belly and the overlay, but i don't see how long is the core (do you always use 5mm Bb's) thk for your answer. when it will be finish, i'll show it on Fb. A faithfull fan Eric
Hey man, thanks for the great videos, I made a few whips from your tutorials but I don’t have any leather for the turks knots or transitions, do you know any other material that works for foundations?
@@NicksWhipShop thank you for the answer. I also have noticed that when plaiting, the pattern only shows up on the one side. Is there anything I can do remedy this?

YESSS I've been dying trying to figure out how to do it. It's so confusing to me
Love your videos. What do you do with all the whips you make? Or do you make them to order and just film them?
Thanks John! Some of them are custom orders, while others are made strictly for the video and are then sold on my site.
I lurned everything from your videos your the best but can't get it nice like yours I'm doing it with leather
Can you help me
Could I use ball or bull chain for a snake whip core
Hey man, thanks for the great videos, I made a few whips from your tutorials but I don’t have any leather for the turks knots or transitions, do you know any other material that works for foundations?
He has some links to materials he uses on nickswhipshop.com . Happy plaiting, amigo👍
I used an old belt.
Nick, would it be possible for me to put a transition knot on a snakewhip?
Can you do the bird eye plait with 6 plait?
What would happen if I plait one strand on each side everytime alternating?
Hi nick I'm trying the pattern but I can't get it right how thick must the handel be
Hi Nick! I have started making Bullwhips. And on an eight foot whip how long should the handle be. Cody Shetler
10 to 12 inches
Do you ever wax your whips? Watched a video on it and they said it was recommended.
Yes Corbin, I wax all nylon whips. It really makes a great difference.
@@NicksWhipShop thank you for the answer. I also have noticed that when plaiting, the pattern only shows up on the one side. Is there anything I can do remedy this?

Great video!Unfortunately the sappy opening music made me throw up in my mouth a little bit so I couldn't continue watching past 0:04 seconds.
mdwdirect No hard feelings my friend, everyone has a different taste in music. I guess that's one of the things that makes music special.
mdwdirect wow... you're a douche for saying that
Are you serious
Wtf. That's not constructive👎🏽💩.
