Only just stumbled onto this channel, and I think you guys are my favourite reaction channel. Your appreciation for people's differing tastes in music, your intelligence and the admiration for unique or extreme music is something that most other channels don't come close to. Awesome work guys.
Definitely check out Monnalisa by them. Absolutely beautiful and haunting. Interesting info. If you do a reaction to The Violation the drummer in that video is currently the vocalist on this CD and video.
Great reaction! This song was written when the singer/guitarist/songwriter (and former drummer) lost a friend to a heroin overdose. Read the lyrics and you'll see how it's pretty sad and touching and heavy without even the music.
As a huge extreme metal fan, it’s a pleasure to watch people really enjoy the music. Especially a band like Fleshgod Apocalypse who are undoubtedly at the top of their game, and they’re quite frankly the pinnacle of the symphonic death metal sub-genre. You gentlemen have excellent taste.
HUGE shout out to Iron Lung!! I've been wanting more people to react to Fleahgod Apocalypse but thought I was the only one! This is one of my favorite songs by far and I'm so happy you guys reacted to them. Giovanni also directed their mv for Monnalisa, another song you have see!
Fun fact: Francesco Paoli who's the current guitarist and vocalist was the drummer on past albums.. As good as he is on this album, he has FEW rivals. His drumming is wicked!!!!!
Alright guys, I think it’s time for Slaughter to Prevail “Demolisher”. You made it through this. Do it! It’s UNREAL, I promise. Feel free to blame me if you hate it (which you won’t)!
Man I can't believe I almost forgot about these guys, all right old school badass Brazilian tribal metal band Sepultura, check out "arise" or " Roots, bloody roots "
Nice to see you enjoying this kind of stuff, it took me maybe ten years of listening to metal until I started liking the growling! As others have said The Violation is another great song. Epilogue is also good. And if you're interested in other extreme metal, Cattle Decapitation - Bring back the Plague is great as well!
Bucci is also the director on the official video for "Monnalisa" (yes, with two n's). Brilliant atmosphere - chilling and a little bit grotesque, but dripping with style.
I've been watching you guys for a while now, I like how you take a really cool Open Minded Approach. I've got a Recommendation, Gojira - Toxic Garbage Island Live at Vieilles Charrues
Fleshgod are great! Another group you should check out are Archspire with the track Remote Tumor Seeker. The singer spent a lot of time studying rappers to help with his own style.
Honestly, the fact that you guys actually analyze the songs you react to is why I subscribed. So many reaction channels don't. I'm not here to watch someone listen to something and just be "yeah that's cool...thanks for watching, please subscribe". I'd rather just listen to the music uninterrupted at that point. You two are thoughtful and insightful, obviously passionate about music.
Italian deathmetal!?! Fleshgod Apocalypse is so obscure that I thought I was only one of maybe a hundred people who heard of them. The singer has amazing clean vocals too.
@Lightbringer what's wrong with pop music? Björk live is up there with Tool. Behemoth is as enjoyable as Megadeth. Pop music can be great. And I'm 95% convinced Nergal is just whoring himself to build a more ridiculous collection of hats. Good for him too. And Miley Cyrus has created more cold, hellish vistas of nihilistic poverty of meaning than Mayhem in 30 years of their career
You guys would probably like Mushroomhead. Lots of piano, some rap elements but a heavy band. Check out Madness Within, Bwomp, Qwerty, Pulse, Sun Doesnt Rise.
Francesco Paoli returned to the helm of vocals/guitars. He wrote the drum tracks for this album and recorded/played by David Folchitto. Fun fact: Besides the symbolism of throwing up in the song, it's also a nod for David Folchitto when he threw up during a live performance. He was sick by that time. Video link: /watch?v=Oh8tyzjrG5I
I have really enjoyed watching you react to new things. I think it is amazing of you to show the artistry of music and the language of music that goes far deeper than genre or even actual spoken language. I still think you would genuinely enjoy Volbeat's Still Counting.
I just subbed up today. Found your hed pe renegade reaction and been binge watching your reactions for hours 🤣. Some real good shit on here. I'm gonna have to put you guys on some more Hed pe, but all the suggestions you guys are getting are real solid. Love seeing you guys evolve
Great video. I never push the like button on a video if the guys just tell me to do it even before I watched it - when I don’t yet know if I even liked it. But it was great! Keep it up, greetings from Germany
Definitely “The Violation” if you want to see the stamina of the drummer (original vocalist and guitarist then went to drums and then went back to the singer/guitarist, he did record the drums for this album). In addition if you want some symphonic death metal, I would recommend Septicflesh. “Portrait of a Headless Man” is a modern masterpiece as both a song and as a video. One of the guitarists is a classically trained orchestral conductor and they have live orchestras for their albums.
Never mind Fleshgod. Check out Godflesh. Start off with either "Like Rats", "Anthem", "Christbait Rising", "Witchhunt" , "Mothra" or "Crush My Soul" to begin with. Some of the most heaviest, intense and bleak , yet inspiring music you'll ever hear.
The entire bucci library is janes addiction irresistible force. Fleshgod apocalypse sugar and monnalisa, korn never never and love and meth, and all of oddko.
their previous drummer, is the vocalist now. Francesco Paoli. In my opinion, nothing beats him as a drummer for the band. Check out 'The Violation' from the same band. You'll get what I mean..
I yhink you guys are ready for anaal nathrakh . They're coming out with a new album in October and their first single is called endarkenment. Its goooood!!!
Would really love for you guys to watch The Unerasble Past short film by Cattle Decapitation and have the lyrics to read. Might be one of the most brutally beautiful songs in recent time with a very important/relevant message.
I’m waiting patiently for your reaction to falling in reverse losing my life then Drugs. Those last two songs in the trilogy will blow your mind. Better than losing my mind and popular monster.
Please check out Avatar - Bloody Angel LIVE AT POLAND 2019. incredible performance and crowd is NUTS. Plus Avatar just dropped a new album yesterday. They are such an underrated band!
If you guys want some more great cinematics check out Gunman by Orden Ogan. Definitely not as aggressive as Fleshgod Apocalypse, but I'm sure you'll like it. Cheers!
You want to be hit on overload. React to Archspire “Lucid Collective Somnambulation”. Specifically the vocal play through. The metal is faster than this and the vocals are on par w “Rap God”
I know what you guys are talking about, unless you're a metal head your whole life then I feel like with the growls, shrieking, and harsh vocals, you need to ease in through other metal. It tends to be an acquired taste if you will. But once you're there, its a thing of beauty. That being said, I cant wait to see some Cradle of Filth!! And Exercises in Futility V!!!
I highly recommend Mirrorthrone - So Frail. It is a one-man metal band that sounds like no other band out there. Great composition and heavy beats that will stick with you for years to come.
I love your reactions, especially Tool ones :) You’ll make me happy reacting to some Leprous song. ‘Mirage’ is a good start. ‘The Sky is Red’ is more advanced experience. Do it, you’ll love them.
Some Static X would be nice to see, very high energy and badass metal. "Push It" is a good entry to them, one of my personal favourites too, you might also like "Permanence". If you want more mellow, serious Static X "Cold" or "So" are excellent songs. "Reptile" is an absolutely bonkers song that I wouldn't use as an introduction, but is true insanity and I love it, might be a good third or fourth song to listen to.
Fleshgod Apocalypse - The Violation!!!
You guys definitely have grown into more analyzing the songs than reacting and it has been a great evolution to watch.
Thank you
I agree and I love it too
Only just stumbled onto this channel, and I think you guys are my favourite reaction channel. Your appreciation for people's differing tastes in music, your intelligence and the admiration for unique or extreme music is something that most other channels don't come close to. Awesome work guys.
@@edwardr8226 thank you. This means so much to us
fleshgod - THE VIOLATION
thats the classic from them
The drumming equivalent of running a marathon haha
Definitely check out Monnalisa by them. Absolutely beautiful and haunting.
Interesting info. If you do a reaction to The Violation the drummer in that video is currently the vocalist on this CD and video.

Holy crap!! I can't believe you guys got to Fleshgod! You guys are getting in deep now!
Wintersun - Sons Of Winter And Stars (TIME I Live Rehearsals At Sonic Pump Studios) REMASTER
And Anaal Nathrakh's new one. Or even just Hold your children close and pray for oblivion
Man I can't believe I almost forgot about these guys, all right old school badass Brazilian tribal metal band Sepultura, check out "arise" or " Roots, bloody roots "
Fleshgod - The Violation next!! 👹🤟🏼
Spiritbox - Rule of Nines/Blessed Be!
Nice start
Let's go to the masters of this genre
Septicflesh "enemy of truth"
Agreed! that song is kickass
Fleshgod apocalypse : the violation !!!! It's relentless and oh so good 👍
Nice to see you enjoying this kind of stuff, it took me maybe ten years of listening to metal until I started liking the growling!
As others have said The Violation is another great song. Epilogue is also good. And if you're interested in other extreme metal, Cattle Decapitation - Bring back the Plague is great as well!
The director of this video has his own project called Oddko. The singer for FGA recorded the drums for his project.
Never heard of these guys, thanks for the great new find!
Sick track. Love your reactions and how you guys go deeper than "oh that was cool". Y'all should check out Behemoth - O Father O Satan O Sun
Fleshgod are great!
Another group you should check out are Archspire with the track Remote Tumor Seeker. The singer spent a lot of time studying rappers to help with his own style.

Another one to check out in this vein is the band Septicflesh. Portrait Of A Headless Man and Martyr are excellent songs.
Italian deathmetal!?! Fleshgod Apocalypse is so obscure that I thought I was only one of maybe a hundred people who heard of them. The singer has amazing clean vocals too.
Fleshgod isn’t obscure anymore they’ve toured so many countries, did you see the live in Perugia DVD loads of people in that crowd.
React to behemoth: bartzabel
You won't be disappointed 🤘🏼
@Lightbringer what's wrong with pop music? Björk live is up there with Tool. Behemoth is as enjoyable as Megadeth. Pop music can be great. And Miley Cyrus has created more cold, hellish vistas of nihilistic poverty of meaning than Mayhem in 30 years of their career
@Lightbringer it's nowhere close to pop metal
First comment, son!! Y’all should check out between the buried and me- ants of the sky. It’s simply an amazing display of musicianship.
You guys would probably like Mushroomhead. Lots of piano, some rap elements but a heavy band. Check out Madness Within, Bwomp, Qwerty, Pulse, Sun Doesnt Rise.
You should react to Slaughter to prevail - demolisher. Amazing voice.
Cold as perfection video. The singerw was a drummer for a while, originally started on vocals and guitars
Thank you for checking this band and thank you also to not paused the video
You guys should react to SepticFlesh , A Great mass of death or Oceans of Grey, or the live version of The Vampire from Nazareth
Cradle of Filth has great videos. Can't think of a specific one now, but the thumbnails are good reference.

Had the opportunity to see Fleshgod Apocalypse opening for Septicflesh and it was one of the best gigs I've ever seen
Love this band!!!
