Interesting take on the Black Flag classic!
Not sure why they used Black Flag's iconic Rise Above as the framework for this since they add their own lyrics throughout, but as a cover oddity it ranks among one of the most unique.
Ibeyi is a huge inspiration to me and I WILL produce a song for them one day.
Yeah they could really use somebody to produce a song for them. Seeing as they stole this one and didn't even credit the original band. 🤣

If you want to hear the original, check out Rise Above by Black Flag. But I promise you it's not going to be overproduced like this garbage. It's a raw Punk song from the '80s hardcore punk era with static and feedback and was made during the era of DIY punk music.

Way to kill a classic punk song. This is horrendous i dislike it.
And they didn't even credit the band either. So not only are they terrible at making music, but theyre intellectual thieves. It's a shame that musicians can't even be considered artists anymore because this is all they ever do. They just rip off other people or do the same thing somebody else is already done.
Punk rock is a music genre but also a philosophy, I'm not sure they fully understand the philosophy of the song they covered. I hope they do, otherwise theyre doing something even worse than plagiarism worse than a theft.
