Do people really come to New York for the animals? I just hope those animals do okay without funding, if they release them back into the wild it might turn out to be a good thing. As long as they can protect themselves, otherwise that's going to be horrible..

I propose the they should include budget cuts to the high paid executives. Like the major,governors,marshals,judges. if they really want to help everybody take your high paid jobs and do your jobs with out some pay for a while. slash your pays BY 25%. if they do that institutions like the Bronx zoo or The aquarium won't have to lose money. and everything will be in good standings.........

Seek Private Funding!!!!
Depending on government handouts forced from the hands of middle class and poor people is a bad business model, even if you are a non-profit!
Get a good development person. Make a goal of having 90% of your funding to come from ticket prices, advertising, concessions, special fundraising events and endowment revenue.
Why not do business with people who want to deal with you voluntarily, instead of depending on force?

there is no better zoo than THE BRONX ZOO literally speaking.. anyone that comes visit the bronx wont have to look far for animals to c.. there are about 9MILLION of them.. u got 2 c my family, u cant never domesticate them.. geeezzzz
