Looking forward to picking up UFO Misdemeanor. Thanks for the updates.
Ya picked up Keep me fed 👍
Hi brendon my friend you missed out robert john and the wreck red moon rising it's awesome 🤘
I’m not familiar with that band. But I hope you enjoy their new album.
Thanks for the heads up, wouldn’t have realised they’ve put a new one out. Great band.
They were so good on the Rock Legends Cruise this year!
Priceless thanks.
SO HYPED to see that Voyager box set!
Johny Cash album so good listened all day yesterday
Glad to hear you’re enjoying it
Happy weekend Brendan
Thank you Sean, you too! 👊
Happy record shopping weekend!
Thank you! You know me so well!
Definitely need to hear the new Maverick album
So good.
The Ratt vinyl from 2007 was called the Early Years and only had 4 tracks, really bad sound quality, but i was glad to have it. 2007- vinyl was just inching its way back, and i bought everything i saw, Virgin megastore and Hot Topic were the only stores that carried sealed new vinyl back then. I'll get the Rarities on vinyl too. A little out of your wheelhouse, but my favorite album of this whole year is Nathaniel Rateliffs " south of here"( also released 6/28). The track " time makes fools of us all" is about as rockin as he gets. The video for " heartless" came out last month, and im in love with both tracks
The Ratt Rarities vinyl has a copyright of 2007 on it.
@@BrendonSnyder it's probably because 4 of the songs are taken from that 2007 release Early Years, but on discogs, rarities shows it came out on vinyl last month. For Ratt vinyl nuts, someone has made a vinyl bootleg of the 99 self-titled cd, it's on Ebay
I’m digging that lorrie Morgan record.
I’ve got to give it a listen.
BRUTAL
Nice Aerosmith shirt 👕
Thanks!
Yeah, great shirt, but do you hang, fold or leave in a big, unseemly pile, your vast collection of t-shirts? Also, when ironing, what music do you listen to? Like CD/vinyl collecting, ironing has become a national obsession in the UK. Nobody dare leave their house with crumpled clothing for fear of being ridiculed. Thanks for the explanatory and entertaining video.
I will likely be getting Sunbomb. I have the first album on CD.
An album I can highly Reccommend is The Warnings Keep Me Fed , 3 sisters from Mexico they are becoming the biggest rock band in the world.
I’m glad you like them but that’s a bit of an overstatement. They certainly have a buzz and are getting lots of press and recognition but by no means are they “the biggest rock band in the world”. When they have multi-platinum albums, are selling out stadiums around the world and have been doing it for 30 to 40 years then you can make that statement. 😂😂😂
@@BrendonSnyder I understand what your saying but i just think that in this days off music its difficult to make big strides in the industry these ladies are .
Sunbomb 🤘😎🤘
It’s a killer!
Can’t say enough good things about Maverick. Big Red was my intro and they’ve gotten better and better. All are worth tracking down.
5:29 Riding the Storm Out
15:01 Tommy Bolin started with the band Zephyr
Got a few titles this week
Vocalist Madeleine Peyroux
90 alternative band Fastball
Country singer Chayce Beckham
Indi artist Omar Apollo
Pop Singer Camila Cabello
Nathaniel Rateliff and the night sweats
The Neil Young and crazy horse
New fabulous Thunderbirds
Reissue by the mountain goats
Indi act local natives
Rapper Lupe Fiasco
I'm also waiting on three titles
Aaron Frazier
And from Target, that usually ships a bit late expected Monday
Imagine Dragons (Target Exclusive)
Johnny Cash (Target Exclusive with Bonus Disc)
That’s quite the haul! Enjoy!
@@BrendonSnyder big on keeping up with my new stuff of many genres.
I can't stop playing " time makes fools of us all" from the Nate Rateliff.
I know it’s not your favourite genre but check out 200 Stab Wounds released on Friday . Awesome record. mS from Stryper I find to preachy, too bad because I was looking forward to to that Sunbomb release
I don’t listen to Death Metal…at all.
I'm really digging that new Johnny Cash Songwriter album!
Hey Brendon have you hear the new song by Phil Mogg/Moggs Motel-Apple Pie, great single
Limbonic Art - Opus Deamoniacal is also new for the week. First album in 7 years, and while it's nowhere near the old stuff, it should be a good black metal release.
I missed to grab Atlantic, heard a lot of good things about it though. Hopefully it won't be sold out by the time I order next.
Hi Brandon. I’m surprised not to see the new Anvil album “One and Only” on this video.
That’s because it came out last week and it showed it during that episode.
@@BrendonSnyder oops! The one episode I missed. Sorry. I think you do a great job. I love your channel.
Terrible band.
The remastered version of the yes fragile album sounds so good, but didn’t they already have a Steven Wilson mix a few years ago
Yes in 2019 but it was only released in Japan.
Sunbomb rocks but I can’t separate the fact that Michael Sweet is Stryper and anything he does sounds like Stryper
I know you're just recapping the media PR but a little actual truth to Songwriter... The songs were never thought to be lost and weren't "newly found". They were demos that were recorded for copyright reasons because John wrote them and had to record them to get the copyright. Four of the songs were released in 2000 on Return to the Promised Land as bonus tracks. These 11 songs have been overdubbed, quite badly in my opinion, and aren't how the songs were originally recorded. If you like LOUD overdubbed music not the way the artist originally recorded it, well, there you go.
Interesting that you should mention the loudness factor when I first heard Johnny’s version of hurt, especially during the chorus. You have to turn down the volume because otherwise it sounds horrible because of the stupid loudness stuff they put in these recordings now really ruins it.
@@MrMusic193 Yeah, that gets really loud. American 4 and 6 are stupidly loud for no real reason.
