    SO DELICIOUS! It turned out really good, not too spicy, pretty easy to make, and it’s vegetarian! Used cauliflower because we didn’t have paneer, but it wasn’t missing anything. The flavor is just like I was hoping for: BANG!
    Thank you Chetna!!!

    I’m probably going to sound rather silly but.. what is paneer? Is it like tofu?
    I’m disabled but I’m finally finding a bit of confidence in the kitchen, I’ve just discovered your channel (I remember seeing you on tv !) & I’ve really enjoyed sitting back the past few mornings watching your videos & learning. I must, must get myself a spice kit going! I must also tell myself to stop worrying & just give things a go! This looks just divine. Thank you for sharing your beautiful food with us 💕 xx

    Looks very delicious. I like the way your sauces build without using tinned tomatoes, the fresh ones have a lighter colour, so makes me wonder what else is in the tinned. When you make the roti, it's one of those facinating things I could watch for ages, think it comes from using that particular board and rolling pin, I think I will need to get hold of one. We have tried paneer on one of your other recipes, something we hadn't tried before, we found it a nice alternative to meat. Thankyou Chetna.

    If I want to add chicken to this, can I just add it as is or do you recomend marinating/frying the chicken? Also, for Paneer dishes (in general), when should i fry paneer and add to gravy vs without frying and adding cubes?

    I am cooking it now for tomorrow :) I actually have fenugreek leaves and _finally_ can use them in something :D BTW not a fan of using whole cinnamon, it likes to disintegrate while cooking and then I keep spitting it out the whole time :D So I am using powder today. And I could not find paneer, again, so I am using some haloumi instead.

      No no no maple syrup please. The fenugreek leaves are dried and have a distinct flavour, maple syrup is for pudding!

    • @999999k18
      @999999k18 4 года назад +1

      Food with Chetna They have very similar flavour and smell profiles (due to the soloton compound) and fenugreek is even used in imitation maple syrup. Of course the preference is to use fenugreek, but in these crazy covid-19 times where fenugreek may be harder to find, maple syrup is not a bad substitute (provided used sensibly). Recommend trying it!
