Loved to see the consistency strategically on your volleys against Antonio. This is the type of 'non-flashy' play style that really makes padel padel. Incredible restraint and focus. Afterwards you could see the tactical 'making the opponents move' restraint start to fade into what I like to call 'taking shortcuts' and forcing your way through the opponents rather than diligently working your defense and transitions. Great content mate and loving seeing your progress and reflections. And from a Dutch guy who plays with Spaniards some times: don't be afraid to be really be buzzing with your partner! Hype each other up man!
Amazing content as always. Your level was very very good. Knew it instantly that these guys will end up winning the whole thing. Sucks when you play the winners in just the 2nd round 😂 Looking forward to more videos bro!
Amazing video and commentary, i just have one negative thing/tip, its to dont spoil whats going to happen, for example at 6:14 when you say "they fought back and managed to break us". But other than that great video man!
cool content guys keep it up! If I can give some positive feedback, In the footage it's possible to see that you keep looking at your partner most of the time when he's hitting the ball, it's better for you to look at the opponents and give info! keep up the good work
nice video, on volleys I see you make the very common mistake of switching target a lot, you should keep pressure on the same opponent unless your body is moving to the other player direction. We always do the same mistake too :) eg 10:20
Someone is using my pallap right now, so I used this Bullpadel as it’s my backup. Will defo go back to the pallap soon . That hack is really good for left side
Really great stuff and really great playing 🙂 This is probably a super annoying question: I noticed that your supporting (left) hand very often is pretty low and not as high and active as you might see elsewhere. Is there a reason for that choice of technique? It doesn’t seem to hinder you that much - if at all 😊 Again - I apologise if this sounds arrogant 😅
I was at this tournament (playing in the Ladies draw obvs) and meant to come over and say hi but never had chance, hopefully you'll be back in Boro at some point! 🤞🏻
lets say it was a half no look shot... the ball was virtually on his pala when he half turned his head away, but as you are looking at the angle of his pala to see where the ball might be going, a no look shot shouldn't bother you at all. Someone does that to me and it makes me more determined and you know they are then perhaps over confident and it can be there level of concentration has dropped and you have a chance, but in reality, as you say, those guys are a different level to you guys...... so 9/10 they are going to win.
Grade 1 is the highest with most points avaliable, so the top players will play that, grade 5 is lowest with least points avaliable. A lot of intermediate level enter grade 4-5 to get experience. I usually do good i grade 3-5, but lose in 1-2
Hi Ewan, have you ever thought about developing your muscle coordination? I think you need to do that, and I think it would be great if you documented your journey in this area on RUclips
@@EverythingPadel Watch your steps at 10:18, you are dragging your leg instead of small, symmetrical steps, and your jump with the strikes is not symmetrical
@@EverythingPadel I would be excited if you did a 60 day challenge on RUclips to work on your coordination, balance and stability. Trust me, you will beat the best players in UK 👌🤩
Like I said before. You are like p400-500 level in Belgium. The guys that won the tournament are easily level p700 or even p1000 in Belgium. Can you make a video about the UK padel ranking/tournaments system?
Sorry about some of the shots going light and dark, just the sun going in and out
Really love the tournament videos bro! Please keep them coming 🤝
Wil do should be once a month 👍🏼

don't worry about the video length, this is super instructive to watch your level but also how you break down your game. Fantastic content, cheers!
Thanks man👍🏼🤝🏼

Very nice play guys. Lost to those two boys in the end is nothing to be sad about. Level was fire!
Great video as always mate! - if you're ever in the north east again true padel in durham is an amazing centre - keep the highlights coming!
Thanks mate

Yeh I did think that sometimes when watching back. Good feedback to know for next time!

Love your videos bro 🎉
Loved the video! Learned a lot from it. thanks!
Very nice video, keep up the good work. You’ll win soon.
Great vid
jake is rly good i hope u play as a duo again it would be so much better since u synergize well with eachother

Yeh I noticed that, especially in game 2
yes I noticed this as well (not that I am doing that better lol)
yeh bwoooiiiiii
Love the video. I noticed you're playing with a Bullpadel now rather than the Pallap, and curious to know more.
Someone is using my pallap right now, so I used this Bullpadel as it’s my backup. Will defo go back to the pallap soon . That hack is really good for left side
Love the videos! but would like if they were longer
Great video Ewan, good padel. If only you had used your Pallap racket you might have won 🙂
Love it!
Thanks!!
Love it

You should upload the full videos!
Nice video
I can’t believe you lost to Jake
He spent most of the match adjusting his hair
lets say it was a half no look shot... the ball was virtually on his pala when he half turned his head away, but as you are looking at the angle of his pala to see where the ball might be going, a no look shot shouldn't bother you at all.

Thanks mate, yeh a frustrating one, we could have made it a lot closer, especially in the 1st.
Nice video. Can you explain the grade of the tournament? Not familiar with uk grading

Where can we see the full games?
What is your ranking in the UK? :)
Around 50 now
Even since I’ve started playing panel I’ve always watched this content keep up the good work my man👏🤍
Curios on how you record your matches :)?
I just put a camera on a tripod behind the court nothing too special
Hi Ewan, have you ever thought about developing your muscle coordination? I think you need to do that, and I think it would be great if you documented your journey in this area on RUclips
I have never thought about that
I am going to be starting a new training plan to help with my movement

@@galaxy2074 cool, you reckon thats why I rolled my ankle cos of bad movement?
Love this kind of vídeos, also thought the secund channel was a good idea if u still coment all the points
Which racket does your partner use ?
Something is wrong with a pair if you find out you should lob the back-hand player 😀Antonio should switch over to FH.
do you have the channel with the full match? thank you
No I making it tho
@@EverythingPadel noice that would be really cool thank you very much , love your videos

@@EverythingPadel Anyway, you have a very good level as well ;)
What does Grade 2 mean?
The level you’re playing at. Grade 1 is the highest difficulty/skill level and Grade 7 the lowest difficulty/skill level
@@mingi1489 ok, so the UK hasn’t adopted the same system as other countries either with A through D, or 1-7 where 7 is the highest
@niklaswikstrom78 no because it’s the LTA system , they use for tennis. Hopefully we will get one just for padel
@@EverythingPadel Ah right got it! Would be great if there was a global handicap type system
