- In this episode of Unleashed: A Dog’s life, we take a look at the importance and the ease of tagging and chipping.Losing a dog can be a devastating experience for any pet owner. With a proper tag or an up to date chip, many of these pups can be reunited and returned to their homes. However, for some strange reason, only about one in three dog owners actually have tagged or chipped their four-legged best friend.

My dog is chipped, but the vet told me that the chips are not trackers, and they are only useful if whoever found your dog is honest.
Obviously
This is what I wanted to find out !! Sometimes dogs get stolen .. how on earth will u be able to trace them than ?!
So no tracker for my baby just a AirTag!? That’s visible and can be taken off.
its not bad to use microchips because if somebody finds your dog if lost they could call a rescue and scan the dog for a microchip and the information from the microchip is used to find the owner
my dog grew a golf ball sized tumor. the chip was the cause, the chip looked like it was burnt when they took it ot off the lump. I advise against this. and the lump is now growing back months after removal
That explains everything....
?
Humans next for Chipping. Its already started.
Lmao
Did you just see how much is big the syringe
Promised never land
yeah a billionaire from my city considered doing this for his children with gps lol
@@vturner no way! Thats stuffed. 🤦♂️
What kind of dog is the little black and white dog?
What if ur dog gets stolen? And it has a microchip ! How will u be able to trace where ur dog is ..
Grain of rice yeah right1😄😄 so cute

Oh no Is your dog ok please don’t microchip these animals are living beings not machines if God wanted them to have a microchip in their bodies he would have created their bodies, our bodies to handle such treatment clearly he didn’t so why is it happening I’m sorry I’m ranting I hope your dog is ok cause that’s most important you have a good day
Wait... So the chip can somehow get trough the skin inside dog's digestive system and get pooped??? Wtf I was told it could only migrate under the skin, most likely to the legs, but inside the digestive system??? That means it can damage any organ even the brain???
Can anyone who got their dog chipped tell me if there was any health issue caused by it? Thanks

“THERE IS NO PLACE so desolate that you cannot find Me there. When Hagar fled from her mistress, Sarah, into the wilderness, she thought she was utterly alone and forsaken. But Hagar encountered Me in that desolate place. There she addressed Me as the Living One who sees me. Through that encounter with My Presence, she gained courage to return to her mistress. No act of circumstances could ever isolate you from My loving Presence. Not only do I see you always; I see you as a redeemed saint, gloriously radiant in My righteousness. That is why I take great delight in you and rejoice over you with singing!” (JESUS CALLING)
Weigh the pros and cons because some have died from the chip being dislodged and some the chip got lost in the body so scanning didn’t work. Been doing lots of reading on the facts of this. Also some have gotten paralyzed. Weigh the risks if you feel it’s worth it.
thats sad but even though microchips are good there not always and sometimes dangerous :((((((((((
My Yorkie scratches that area and the hair is broken off from that stupid thing driving him NUTS and I am getting ready to get the thing removed!!!!
That’s why you need to get it done by an experienced vet. Never do it at home!
It’s a legal requirement in my country to microchip.
Where is that. Great requirement.
@@funguy4900 Scotland it’s also a legal requirement to have your name AND address on your dogs tags but that part isn’t unforced unlike the microchip one. Basically by law breeders must microchip dogs before the age of 8 weeks old. Puppies to be future Working dogs and disability assistance dogs may be exempt from microchip in certain circumstances :) One problem here is that there is no leash laws, all the law states is “your dog must be under close control and within sight” so people can legally let dogs off lead that have no recall and can argue that their dog is not “dangerously” out of control because their yap rat is friendly lol
It is a legal requirement to have a dog chipped, wear a collar with current annual tags and have an annual dog licence here in NI.
Road I.D has The Best Dog ID tags IMO
Broooooooo that's my fricken dog dude
Those chips get so small.
Don’t for get, pets can get a ID tattoo.
All Thanks to # raheem_pups * she got me my new puppy
Wait what happened to your old puppy?
Waste of money for the microchip.. I'll just stick to my call her/tattoo in your..
i dont agree with microchips i think that is wrong and evil. i have had dogs for over 20 years and lived just fine without them. i love my dogs and teach them to stay by me. tags are best for us. i use an apple air tag it non invasive dont have to enter foreign objects into the body of the poor animal who is already having to fight off all those vaccination 💉 💉 are enough to deal with in thier small bodies
Same the world has gone crazy and it’s not even hard to be a responsible owner towards the part where your OWN dog doesn’t even run away
This is stupidity. You can embed the chip in the collar instead of implanting in the body
@@slushiepup3934 put a microchip in your baby also. In case it goes missing 👍
@@whitehat7787 lol we would if we could, micro chip is inevitable
Stupid not to put the chip in the dog, collars can come off or be removed, silly statement.
