WTW. Looked up Black Boar ATV implement list. Yes, I can understand the idea if you already own the prime mover.
I was the guy who was mentioning the two-wheel tractors to you. Just for your own curiosity, look them up. More attachments than you could shake a stick at, and powered up to at least 15hp. After WWII, the tractor that brought mechanisation to small British farms was the Little Grey Fergie (Ferguson TE20) that was only 20hp for a full size tractor.
Don't know if I've missed some videos from your permission, but never realised you might be growing a 2 acre plot. Everything I saw looked like small patches. Though you have only ploughed a small strip to demonstrate ploughing, the clearing here looks bigger than any I can remember. Understand the need to go at unturned ground gradually. Even if excellent build quality all too easy to bend the implement or even the ATV, after all it isn't a tractor.
Hope the landowner is well impressed at your efforts.
Think about flipping a few of those shanks so you are using half of them to break up the ground first. Run a cross hatch pattern and then flip the rest back over to get it fully broken up. That's what I am doing with my 6 tine one on my subcompact tractor and it is working pretty good. Sure, it's more work, but the results are great.
Works very nice. Looks well made also - that is a smart solution.
One idea is to make sure that you work your contours in the soil as to run across the drop in the soil and not with the drop in the soil. You do not want the plough furrows to be the start of erosion trenches when it rains. Also helps so that the foodplot seed does not wash away during the rains.
Hi all Hope I make it.
The disc plow would of probably speed it up a bit with all grass and weeds and stuff but it looks to work real nice- will definitely be picking one up for myself once I get my own place
Good job ,it don't take a lot to grow legumes for deer 🦌,, we planted a mixture of soybeans,, Black eye Peas, Iron clay Peas, Peanuts and lentil ,plus Mineral Licks in All Patches for spring and summer time foraging during Antler Growing , the Deer have literally annihilated the Patches in some Places, I'm Fixing To Put A Few Trail Cameras Out And Start Looking A Bit , Next Phase is Feeders and Blinds , Plant Winter Legumes about the middle of October, Down here south Mississippi we usually have a Dry Fall period unless we have a tropical system , grass seems to Do better for me if I wait until mid October and Cooler temps and a little bit of Rain 🌧️☔, Fertilize the ground good about the first week of October and be ready to spread the seed with a approaching Rain 🌧️,, By the time season Opens you have plenty of young tender grass and Whatever Feed you use , Corn 🌽 etc,,, for us , looking forward to November and another season And hopefully A successful one, last year Was PHENOMENAL On "Caribou Hollar" ,,,,
I've been looking at them for a while. That's nice.
That Heavy Duty chisel plow is gonna work great preparing your food plots.
🦌🦌🦌
Kawasaki sounds nice. Probably could make a serious BMX course with that. Technology is amazing, I like it.
Good job dude looks like it does a really good job
Looks like it does a good job!
Let's see the beast!
Pretty cool 👍 😎 👌
It kind of reminds me of my toolbar we attached the sweeps(plows) to and they would work under the surface and cut the roots to the weeds this would work on this I’vf you attached some 4” to 6” sweeps to these arms that you have tearing up the soil
Way better than using a Rototiller 😊
Absolutely
Congrats 👏 your a real farmer now 😮
🚜🚜🚜
Cool stuff! 😀
Looks good but I prefer a disc
I used a disc after.
Wa Yea !! A disk will cut it up good if heavy enough and a drag or harrow like I think you said !
Worked out great
Nice.
👍👍 worked good
Plow it ! Plow it good ! Plow it real good ! So 3x you say...lol
now disc it up
How you like the mule.
Looking to buy one like that in march
Love it
What kind of seed are planting for your plots????
All kinds. Peas, turnips, rape, clover, chicory, brassica. Trying to give them a little of everything
@@WHOTEEWHO awesome. Hope you get some moisture. We've been dry as a powder keg until a few light rains the last week or so here in NW La. Mostly just dampened the surface. Good luck with it. Let us know how it goes.
@@charlesbrakeville5825 just got two rains since I planted. Hopefully turns out good
Do they make a disks ???
Yup
@@WHOTEEWHO your going to love this.
@@chrisaerts6489 I actually used the disc about 30 mins after filming this video. That video is out soon. Worked great
@@WHOTEEWHO I always use my compact tractor for the food plots. Im building a heavy duty atv-utv flip over disk to use. The roots are to hard on the 3 point tiller.
