I didn’t know that the atv yard accessory market was so mature. I’m just now getting into an acre of lawn to maintain and exploring alternatives to paying someone else to do it. I have used my friend’s snowplow before on an atv and they do a fast job on small driveways and light to medium snow. The speed, agility/ maneuverability and momentum of a quad really synergies well with that task. The fact that these are Finnish products is icing on the cake 🇫🇮😉
Its is nice to have the ATV snow blower, I built my own from old lawn mower parts out of necessity due to back issues. Mine works very well, but is not just front mounted. Its hydraulic or PTO powered off of an engine in the back and just a hydraulic motor up front. Love it!
As soon as I saw him sitting in the front loader on the tractor I thought that would be awesome to take that mounting bracket and fabricate some mounts inside the bucket and mount it to the front of your tractor. That would be kick ass! It wouldn’t be that hard to do. Just create some mounting brackets for the inside of your bucket and use the same mounting equipment that goes on the ATV/UDV but attach it inside of your Front end loader.
I have been looking for a used pull behind brush cutter to convert to a skid steer quick attach for my front end loader. This looks like it’s most of the way there already. By the time I find what I’m looking for you will probably have one ready to go. I really can’t believe it’s not already out there since it avoids the need for high flow hydraulics.
Got the flail more the Polaris ranger at my work a couple of years ago. Had opened up the jaws with a carbide and flap wheel and it mounted right up to the stock front bumper/skid plate. It’s nicer than the pull behind cause you keep looking forward but the only issue was the clogging of the radiator…
I’m wondering what kind of price point is going to be with them. I’d like to use their setup instead of a regular mower, and that snowblower is beast!!!! That’s a sweet setup for your rough rural yard and long driveway!! I think the only thing better is a lawn and snow service 👍🏻👍🏻
My thoughts exactly. I use a Cub Cadet XT2 for mowing and blowing snow with the attachment and use my Honda 420 Rancher with a 60" plow for snow cleanup. If I could purchase both brush cutter and snow blower, I could eliminate my Cub Cadet tractor completely.
Talking about the FELs or like the front of an X700? With an FEL you would probably ditch the factory long mounting tube entirely (or cut most of it off) but it would be simple to do. One thing for the FEL is you'd want to build it in a way that was rigid (rather than floating) in the bucket curl direction because otherwise there would be nothing keeping your loader arms from just rotating the attachment backwards and gouging the arms into the dirt and if you put the FEL in float.
I would be very interested in seeing a comparison of speed and cut quality between rammy rough cut on a quad or utv vs a 1025R with the 4 foot brush hog. If rammy is faster I would be all in.
The utv would be faster if the rammy can keep up. You would have to go 25% faster to be even (60 inch vs 48 inch). That should be easy for the utv. The big advantage is being in front as you don't run over the grass first.
It would be great if they could build an adapter for a compact and subcompact tractor. We have an older Kubota with no front end loader and the flail mower could be a possibility with an adapter kit.
I agree I have an old Aries lawn tractor that I would love to be able to put money on and as a PTO unit for the front and the back, don't know if the plate would fit on the under the front. What are the dimensions of the plate how far apart do are the holes that need to be attached to the machine.
@@jimmcknight3021 yeah, the problem with that is there would be so many different possibilities and options woube no way could make that many different adapters... Now on that note could make it so it fits in a 2inch receiver hitch which is what I'd do if I were to buy one
That’s nice for those 4 wheelers, what I would like to see is why someone hasn’t made a front mower for the John Deere 1025 R . I don’t like the under mower for 1025. And really don’t like the bush hog . It would be nice if someone would come up with something that run off the 3rd function.
You could easily adapt this to fit an adapter plate for use on a tractor. For using the 3rd function for power, it does not have enough flow volume to power anything to be useful.
Good works tractor, with winter right around the corner, is there a skid plate product for tractors with front end loaders? to help prevent bucket diging into stone and lawns? Thanks in advance.
They should add a mount for the front of a tractor either using trailer receiver or 3 pt, for someone who already has a front skid plate adapter that can do both those functions like I have. I want a front mount flail and brush cutter mowers for my compact tractor. Only options now are hydraulic.
If you have a front hitch receiver, getting someone to make you a drawbar insert with a small winch mount and the appropriate pins to accept the stock bracket from these Rammys, should be pretty easy and affordable. If you think you want want one of these I'd just get it and make it work. I feel like it's one of those things where getting started is the hardest part, and if you never order one because you're worried about fabbing a small part, you'll never get one. But, if you order one and make the commitment, when it shows up you'll jump through hoops to mount it and before you know it it'll be on there and you'll never look back.
I do not need a brush hog, but my gasoline powered push mower may just get mounted on my tractor for an hour in the near future lol... what could go wrong?
It seems that you could bolt the subframe to your loader bucket. That would be very versatile as you could raise and lower it easily and put your loader in float position while operating.
If you have forks get a second pair and fairly short. Bolt or weld them to the forks. Or use long ones and get under trees and into thorn thickets. Great for a cab tractor.
Please do. I’ve been looking for a way to brush cut from the front of my kubota. The RAMMY would be perfect. They make mounting plates for some SUV’s. The should make a skid-steer plate. Or you should make an adapter. Just saying.
Geez, how nice is that? A company that's not trying to lock you into a proprietary ecosystem. Already got a bracket? You can use it. I wish more companies would think like this. Looking at you, John Deere.
If you can do metal fabrication, or a fabrication company that you can bring your idea to, it can be done. I'm going to mount one to my mini skidsteer, have fun and be safe!
Those are not pillow block bearings they are just a two bolt flange bearings. Lets say you have a horizontal shaft a pillow block bearing would bolt downward or the opposite direction not the same direction as the shaft.
These are very nice attachments! I know people hate maintaining small engines for some reason (i dont mind and i have a PILE) but I've often felt that it would be preferable for some style of small attachments to be self-powered like this.. for one thing, are ANY pto-driven flail mowers as easy to side shift as this?!
@@GoodWorksTractors Hey, B/S is NOT the company they were 30-40 years ago. That low vacuum design they went too, due to CA emissions standards just cooks the engines now after 100-200 hours. I have bought enough replacement Vanguard engines in the past decade to know.
Awesome brush cutter! Checked price, had horrible heart attack!

I like the way you think. Let's stop putting all the weight on the steering.
That is a lot of great information for making the correct decision on which or what to purchase.

Great video! I don't have any use for those types of attachments but they are way cool for those who have quads!!
thanks Kyle, they are good looking options for sure
Nice to have options. I am going to stick with attachments for my tractor but for people who dont have a tractor these would be great.
I think that is the whole point of this. People with tractors would most certainly use their tractors. Pretty awesome idea though.

So if it's a finish mower made in Finland then it's a Finnish finish mower making it the only true finish mower!
Thee Finish Mower :)

Honda and Briggs both tough competitors. Both are good power units.
Very cool. Now you need an option for something that will grade a driveway using a UTV.
Now I have to go to you to get a ATV mower.
The guy from Rammy actually looks like he is from Finland too!
These are quality implements!!!
Yes, they really are
That Snow Thrower would be great with a SSQA plate for use on smaller Tractors.
Would be fun to see a mount for a tractor...maybe I'll have one made up!
Someone in Austria did mount on tractor ruclips.net/video/oS9DPSoVkuU/видео.html
This is pretty freakin cool
Pretty cool product line

Not running over the grass first will certainly yield better cut quality.
Something worth trying at some point
Can you do a comparison video this winter between the Rammy Snowblower 155 and a tractor mounted blower?
What are the minimum specs for an atv ,to mount and safely operate the brush cutter and mower.
"I wish" my snow blower could also brush cut & mow!

Would be very cool to have a front mount Rammy bush hog for the JD 1025R You could make a quickhitch adaptor for the loader without too much fuss.
A good fab shop could make something for you!! It's got my interest peaked and as a welder/fabricator I could make it work on any thing I wanted to

You can darn near buy an older tractor with a mower for the price of this.

Pretty nice option for a light application. Let's just be honest here, it's not going to outperform a tractor and rotary cutter as the title says.
Are there conversion kits so the attachments can be mounted to small tractors or mini skidsteer quick attach plates?
Need these in aus , time to build one for me 👍🏻

Does anyone know if this flail mower could be mounted on an electric golf cart?
Any idea if Rammy will ever offer the snowblower with the Honda engine?

What about a flail mower to go on the front of that tractor you were sitting on?
