United States of America GOD BLESS THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
Tremendous
Found ya, again
Boston harbor is a teapot :)
God bless you America.
This performance of the star spangled banner should never be forgotten in American history, excellent Band performance 👏🏽👏🏽🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I thought the end was a bit rushed, and a bit unsure, but still a worthy edition. RUclips allows every flag but the American one
The end was fire🔥
@@17ksAlt Sure, if you like overly rushed, lackluster, just get it over with type of finales🤦♂
Please rise for the national anthem of United States of America.
Cody Von Storm commander its a honor to see you again
Hi my admiral.you like too the star Spangled Banner
Of course
Imperial officer have you a Skype account ?
Cody Von Storm with all do respect i am sorry i dont have a Skype account
Theres a reason why the U.S. Marine band is considered one of the greatest……. Stunning performance
The Marine Corps band should perform the national anthem at every Superbowl and big time sporting event. They need to stop having the hot pop singer du jour murder this solemn piece of music by their soulful vocal inflections. It's the National Anthem, not the national love ballad.
John Lauter That's a good idea!
John Lauter I definitely agree!! pop stars ruin it like they're singing one of their ballads.
very good idea time to stop getting singers who can,t remember the song and that accounts for more then half of all singers in this country
agree
Whitney Houston is to blame for the parade of singers mauling the anthem at sporting occasions ever since. It was terrible. This video is how it should be done.
We played this in band and my tears started flowing
we are playing it in band rn and let’s just say my ears hurt
as in bc my band class can’t play it I LOVE THE SKNG
Everytime I hear this it makes me proud to be an American and inflicts a surge of patriotism with in every fiber of my being.
yes!
No
There is No name you Don't have to reply if you hate being American
There's always one in a group
Frank Remmell o nOo
The simple fact that they are standing while playing tears me up.
Wee note to America from Scotland. You have a magnificent anthem when sung/played by your armed forces. When sung by rock stars, though, the world cringes.
This was just brilliant.
Have to say I agree. Our navy band needs to play this not pop stars.
Thank you Alan Mac, I agree.
I could not agree more
Ever heard of Whitney Houston
WEE NOTE TO SCOTLAND FROM AMERICA. BELIEVE ME WE KNOW, TYVM FOR THE CONFIRMATION!!!!
Incredible. This is the definition of military precision. Perfect throughout. And that trombone at 1:15 ! And a perfect release. Absolutely phenomenal. This is how "The Star-Spangled Banner" should sound.
Well they are called the greatest band in the world for a reason. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
That low brass section.. Bass Trombone all the way!
Jonathan Fielding cdddvvfd no ydkjgeeb
I'm actually watching this to see if I'm playing it right on my trombone.
Stop speaking in incomplete sentences. So sick of every "that" comment.
FLUTES
Stephen Kramer every “that” comment.
note to everybody everywhere--do it this way, or don't do it at all.
+Big DogCountry Thank you!!! I hate bad renditions of the Banner, or when people try to change it. Ugh.
+Big DogCountry INDEED
+Cloverofmist Not those A-holes who try to sing it with all the yelling and high friggin notes....totally unecessary.
I guess she could hit those "high" notes because she was... "high".
and one of her personal tragedies was her rendition of the national anthem. One minute. Up tempo. No embellishments. Shut up and sing the words correctly. If you can't hit the final high note, guess what, the same note exists an octave lower, and there are other cheats as a singer you can do, like talk your way thru it. It's not open to "interprifyin" Shut up and sing it. Quickly, proudly. You'll get a standing O.
11:15 at night. I stood up, faced the direction of the flag outside our house, and put a hat over my heart.
It just felt like the right thing to do.
I stood up and saluted the anthem even though I'm not American.
God bless America 🇺🇸
You should live here !
Stunning.... I once dreamed of being a member of your esteemed ensemble. Such an amazing standard of not just straight forward musicianship but with the consistency and accuracy as that of the Swordsman or Riflemen on display.
How many Americans understand what that truly says about us in our most positive manner possible.
Thank you for your service.
The way our national anthem should be played, with honour and respect!!!!
You guys should play "The Star Spangled Banner" at big sporting events like the Super Bowl! That was awesome!!!
I love this song and I'm proud to be a American 🇺🇸
GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!
Sends chills up my spine every time!

I don't know of a better song that brings out pride in being an American and can give you goose bumps!!!!!
Rob man it's a British tune
Lightning JSF how is it British? I would sincerely like to know how you came up with that opinion.
I like America
@@matthewgold3054 This is what he means; the tune was from a popular British song, "To Anacreon in Heaven": en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Star-Spangled_Banner
clearly you’ve never listened to california girls by katy perry
Every time I listen to this it makes me shed a tear God bless America🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
GOD BLESS USA !
This song brings tears to my eyes. I love the USA so much. Even when I don’t agree with the leadership, it just shows that the beautiful idea of American democracy is at work. And yes we have our flaws but we also have a unique ability to come together when times are at their worst. I’ll use one of my favorite quotes, “I miss 9/12. I would never want another 9/11, but I miss the America of 9/12. Stores ran out of flags to sell because they were being flown everywhere. People were Americans before they were upper/lower class, Jewish/Christian, Republican/Democrat. We hugged people without caring if they ate Chic-Fil-A or wore Nikes.
On 9/12, what mattered more to us was what united us, not divided us.” - Elizabeth S Gray. That was an America in pain. But we stood strong. Our flag still flew high. We were more proud of our nation than ever. Then on May 1, 2011, thousands of people took to our streets, monuments, our government buildings, flying flags, pumping their fists, chanting ‘USA USA USA’. People say that that America is gone, but I don’t think so. I believe it still live in us, in our hearts, and it exists as the love for our nation, and it constantly shows itself, even in this video. If you pay attention you will notice that when the drum roll began everyone in the auditorium was seated, but the second those first 3 notes played, it was a fluid motion of everyone standing up. I see it at sports games. Tens of thousands of people standing and singing the anthem, hand over heart, hats removed, tears in their eyes. And when the anthem stops, an enormous round of applause, not just for the band, but for the nation. That’s what America is all about. The people. It’s a nation with the people, for the people, and by the people. Because America isn’t a thing, it’s an idea. An idea that everyone no matter race, religion, sex, or sexual orientation can live free and safe. God bless America!
This is the best rendition of the worlds greatest National Anthem I have ever had the pleasure of listening too. And performed with such style and grace.
I think I found the version my High School plays every morning! Such an amazing national anthem!
When you hear this, you stand and pay your respect to the Flag. Period!
I pay respect every time
You don't have to do it but yes, respect other people around you who are standing up for our flag
fastfordman1965 or kneel
That and you should be thankful for the sacrafices that were made in the year 1812
Appreciate, enjoy and love it, and have your own pride, sure. But grow up and speak only for yourself. Don't get lost in your own selfish need to be an insufferable dictator and yet again ruin everything by lording something, anything, over others.
This performance is literally beautifully perfect. I have no idea why some jerks would give this a thumbs down... Thank you all for your service! Great job! I always enjoy listening to you all perform!
This is probably the best anthem of the world, because you can feel in each musical note a patriotic pride that brings tears.
God bless America !
Thank all of you and your family for my freedom 🙏 ❤ ♥
Great anthem, respect from India :)
Respect from America to India
I played this in band and i started crying red white and blue
11 years late- I don’t like being American all that much but I can’t wait to play this in band. I’m in the 6th grade right now, and we’re not doing it until 7th grade, but we’re learning it early so we know it REAL well.
Damn I loved that low brass
The way the National Anthem should be played......perfect!
The USMC Band is the best. USA! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Just a great tune! (Nice version).
I cannot believe that 74 people voted a thumbs down for our National Anthem. Countless numbers of our citizens have died to preserve the liberties and freedoms of our beloved nation. Our National Anthem is worthy of our greatest respect and honor when we hear it sung or played as we stand proudly for the nation the song represents. God bless America.
GOD BLESS THE USA, GODSPEED AND SEMPER FI UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS!!! VERY PROUD MARINE DAUGHTER, GRANDDAUGHTER, GREAT GRANDDAUGGTER, GRAND NIECE AND COUSIN. I AM PROUD TO SAY I LOVE MY MARINES!
Thank you, again, for posting the bands in real time. I am a huge fan of your work. Your vantage point was great watching the Marine Band make the turn! Without you, music fans would not get to clearly hear the bands. Regular TV gives little time to musicians in the parade since they talk over the bands!
This should be required listening for every music major pursuing a position as a band
director.
My heart is bursting right now. This is a masterpiece. This is how the anthem should sound. Plus, how all of them stand up while playing it! Showing their respect to America! I’m so proud to be American! I love the country that I live in. I would never ever change my opinion on that! Thank you U.S. Marine Band for being so respectful!
Marine band is play the best national anthem
This my favorite way to hear the National Anthem with a US Military Band
I missed playing this in school, even though the whole time I had to just do a Double Stroke Roll lmao.
The National Anthem always makes me tear up. Proud and happy and respectful to be an American.
“That concludes our broadcast day”
*off air*
Beautiful rendition of the best tune ever, for an American. Well done!
Semper Fidelis! Happy Birthday Marines!
It goes without saying that of course the audience all stood up.
Oh my god!!! That sounded so beautiful!! I kind of cried a little! Just listen to other countries military bands! This is literally a master piece! Absolutely the best band performance I’ve ever heard!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's our song, America. Our song for our land, for our people, for our past, our present and our future.
Decide today that you are going to leave your country just a little better for your having been here and when it's your time to pass on you'll have done well.
GOD BLESS OUR AMERICA
