I have a 1999 C4 Cabriolet, a metallic bright blue one, and it is a fine running and driving, lovely car. The tight, small, mechanical feeling of driving it is missing in new cars. It’s reliable as well. The looks, to me, are classic.
Dude i see your Intentions , so fahr so good , but nothing new on information. There are so many 996 informations out there .. by the way you should check on that engine , there is some misfire or something , at least when you accelerate, you could hear clearly that it doesn’t sound right ! Other that that I just love watching 996 vids on the net , can’t get enough of it ! And yes , the LesMans lights are just gorgeous best design ever ! Pinky lai at its best ! Im gonna start calling those lights ( LesMans lights ) by the way .. the name giving of Fried Egg is totally out folks ! The 996 .1 is the only 911 with those LesMans lights ! I rather say that the 996.2 lights are somewhat odd looking ! But that a matter of taste !! All Porsche’s are beautiful.. greets from Germany 🇩🇪

Totally agree about the number videos on 996 out there, it doesn't hurt to have one more lol Agree about the misfire, it had a coil pack that failed whilst we were shooting the video. Im actually a Beemer guy , but the 996es got me in their Magic ban .. Im glad to hear that it only was a missfire from a coilpack ..I was worried,, cause all the 996.1 that are still alive , gotta be kept alive 😍👌🏽👍🏽 I used to live in the states for 10 years .. 3 j. NewYork and a bit Cali and a Bit Florida .. Than 6 j. Pittsburgh.. I miss the states somewhat ! But only without Trump people !! Not possible 😁😅 Where are you from actually?

Some of your information is not correct. The reason why porsche moved on to water cooled engines was because they believed that air cooled had reached its limit on power output. Manufacturers don't build to legislation for economy, i think you meant emissions. The "fried egg lights" were the 1st gen versions that had the Amber lenses at the bottom, not the clear version you showed. At least mention that. I do like your vids but you need to pay attention to information and maybe work from a script.

Thanks Foster. I agree to not film in the afternoon. However weather is unpredictable, we shoot two videos a day and the worst is the rain as our gear isn’t waterproof and we can’t fly the drone 😞. We are on the lookout for a large warehouse or barn to move into and setup an indoor studio. We will ofcourse continue doing the test drives 😊

Do all 996 experience some form of light bore scoring?

Love the cars but please stop taking videos in late afternoon light. Shadows ruin the video.
